Think about it, before you buy.

    • Written by Peter H from Watanobbi

This premium watch band from apple certainly comes with a high price tag. I bought mine with my apple watch when they were first released. I recommend not wearing it too often, especially at work. It will scruff and scratch from constant use. I've had mine 3 years now, and it still looks ok. It is scratched up where it has been worn while using a computer. ie. The friction of your wrist on the desk. I started just wearing it out on special occasions as I saw this wear and tear and got a much cheaper band from ebay. Overall it is a stunning piece but scratches too easily. If you want wear this all the time it's going to wear quickly. Think hard before you buy.

    Unjustifiably expensive

    • Written by Jon C from Leamington Spa

It is well made but the design is hardly new, but it simply is not worth this much money. Mine was gift and it broke when a link got caught- I had no intention of spending that sort of money on a bracelet and got another one from elsewhere that looks exactly the same to the last detail for one twentieth of the price. Sorry Apple but this one really is the Emperors new clothes. Even £200 would have seemed to much.

This thing better work with the Edition 3 watches or I will be very sad

    • Written by Robert T from Pflugerville

I bought my "edition zero" apple watch the first day it was possible to order them... thinking that it would last a lifetime. Well, the band at least still seems to work. The watch face of my 0th edition watch has popped out of its bezel and its currently held in place with scotch tape. Thankfully I should be able to order a new 3rd edition by Friday and have it within a few weeks. I HOPE that I can order a stainless steel one that will match my watch band that I paid $550 for brand news... if it doesn't match or doesn't fit I will be very disappointed. I cannot tell that they will be selling a stainless steel one, but I think the ceramic black one wouldn't look too bad.

Anyhoo, once you own this band, you'll learn that you cannot just buy a watch without a band. So you're stuck shelling out at least $49 for another band that you'll never use if you own this one, which is a horrible customer experience, Apple. For a company that supposedly cares about user experience, forcing me to buy a cheap band after I bought your $550 one is pretty cheap on your part.

Function and Style, 4 stars. Value for $, 2 stars

    • Written by Douglas S from Charleston

This is the nicest of the "Apple Bands" in my opinion. I like stainless bands, they can wear forever. Unlike many of the complainers here, I have not had problems with the finish, wearing, scratches other than what you normally expect. The look is sleek, the butterfly mechanism is okay, but honestly, I've worn better functioning bands - probably more expensive than this, though.

So in the end, it's a very solid, quality band that will last as long as you want it to. It doesn't scratch nearly as badly as some people say, and overall, I'm pleased. Now... for the money? I think it's overpriced, but it's an quality product and I guess you just have to feel like it's worth it. I first bought a knock-off for a fraction of the cost, but it really bugged me because it wasn't quite "there" in terms of quality. No regrets buying this, but don't expect anything earth shattering - it's just a good, solid, stainless band!

42mm Silver Link Bracelet expensive to buy on it's own £449.00

    • Written by Colin M from LARGS

I was very luckly to have received my Silver Link Bracelet with my watch as a present. This is the bracelet I would have chosen and it works well.

Disapointed that a replacement clasp is not available to buy, one side of my clasp has broken and I do not want to pay £449.00 to replace the complete bracelet

Best Apple Watch band you could ever buy
Feels great, looks AMAZING, can be worn with 99% of outfits

    Two negatives
Shows wear quickly (silver), nothing too crazy though
VERY expensive (suggest buying from somewhere like eBay and getting it for $200)
