Pretty good sound but don't buy them ....

These are some of the worst designed (in a practical sense) in earphones ever. Without exaggeration, and literally every 30 seconds, they fall out of my ears. Admittedly I mostly use them at the gym, but even if I'm just walking around they fall out. I have tried putting the cable behind my neck... still doesn't work. I was warned by a friend that this would be the case and thought they would be fine... they aren't. Would not recommend buying them at all. Entirely frustrating. Not to mention that they had to be replaced after 4 months because the wiring the the earpiece failed and they stopped working.

Terrible Durability, Not worth the money!

I have had three pairs of URBEATS within the last 12 months. Each pair of beats has not lasted longer than 6 months, I use my earphones everyday and so durability is a key factor for me which is where these beats perform terribly. I take incredibly good care of my beats and always store them in their carrying case when they are not in use however for the third time now my beats have broken. It begins by the audio intermittently cutting out in one ear and worsens until eventually it stops functioning all together (also on my newest pair of replacement beats the microphone casing has fractured and split leaving the internal circuitry exposed however this is the first time this has happened to me). It seems the audio jack connection on these URBEATS is very poorly designed and is a major weak point which always gives out and results in audio problems.

    Pros: Great Sound, Punchy Bass

    Cons: Flimsy Construction, Poor Design

I would 100% not recommend these products they are definitely now worth the price.

    One side stopped working.

I bought the urbeats for my daughter for Christmas. She loved them. After about a year the right side stopped working. I contacted Apple and of course they were out of warranty. They charge $59 to fix them and the new ones cost $99, so for $40 more I'm going to buy her a new pair. Very disappointing for such expensive earphones.

    Great Product!

I have had these for a few months. They offer good bass and I believe they are worth the money. They will come with an one year warranty that can be done at any apple store which is cool.

    Great...for a while

I bought these Beats about 2 months ago. Less than a month after having them, the right side stopped working. I contacted Apple, they agreed to fix the problem. They sent me a box, and I sent them my Beats. I received them back within a couple of days and they were working great. Within two weeks they were doing the same thing again. When the beats were working properly I loved them, but I would not recommend them to anyone.

Bad quality - first and second set

Unfortunately, the product quality is really poor. I got them as gift from my daughter and I took care of them a lot. On the first set that I got, after a few months, the mic stopped working. Before breaking off, when I was in a call while walking with my phone on my pocket, I started to get static/noise in the calls. They were replaced and got the second set. I had the same issue with static/noise and then , one day, sound came only from one earbud. I will never buy one of these again.

    Expected Better Quality

I have a beats pill, and purchased it because I was impressed with the sound from a friend's Beatbox. Unfortunately while the headphones have the same great quality sound, it doesn't last. My headphones, like many others mentioned in reviews (wish I had read them before purchasing) blew out after only 1 month. I don't listen to my music on full volume because I usually work out early in the morning so I like to be able to hear what is going on around me as well as the music. However, the headphones blew, never the less. I thought it was my phone at first, but it was a problem across devices, and I finally pulled out the earbuds that came with the iPhone, and sound was back to normal. I'm really disappointed in the poor QA, and based on other reviews, this is a design problem, not an isolated bad product.

Good Sound if you LOVE bass

I go through many headphones, and have yet to find something I love. These are not great headphones, and terrible for the gym, if you're a gym goer. Definitely not worth the 99$. I thought they would be durable, and the jack lost function. Also, the bass coming out of these is too overwhelming, and more for a younger demographic looking for aesthetics rather than sound in headphones. Moving to bluetooth headphones.

    Great product - questionable quality!

LOVE the earphones - beautiful signature beats sound. However just after a month these have already lost clarity :(

    Worth the Price

    I've been through many headphones and although the sound quality changes my biggest problem was always durability. Due to my work, I use headphones almost all day everyday for all types of use - video calls, music, films, games - but after 6 months I usually have to go to go to my warranty and have them replaced, normally caused by one headphone just suddenly not working. These issues are normally caused by one of the following;
    - cable
    - microphone connection
    - headphone jack

After opening the UrBeats packaging, these three items automatically spread some delight on my eyes.
    - The cable is flat so harder to get tangled
    - The jack has a bigger finger grip so easier to handle
    - the microphone is in the correct position to have no need for tugging

Aside from these, the sound quality is brilliant and the packaging is next to none. The beats headphones are by far the best all-round headphones that I have ever purchased, and I'll be looking to buy the studio version next!

    Great Instrumental!!!, Vocals.....Not so much

As most Beats headphones are, these earbuds are great for bass, and I overall found these headphones fantastic in outlining detail in regards to the instrumental aspect of music. You can clearly head the instruments used and feels the power behind the earbuds. But as many other reviews have stated, they do sound a little bit "muddy". Cloudiness in the vocals and overall like you are listening to the vocals through a screen of sorts. By all means I enjoy the headphones and they fit very nicely and create an immersive music experience. Even on low volume the seal in-ear blocks out external noise and makes you not only hear the music you are listening to but "feel" it. Only had them for a short time, so in terms of their durability, I have no comment. Hopefully they will last. But definitely worth the money to take a step above the basic EarPods.
