    Garbage

    • Written by Alex A

Just as I suspected these are over priced over hyped headphones with a great marketing campaign. Don’t waste your money. I’ve had these about 3-4 months now and will randomly die mid workout even though they are charged. Ave your money and buy PLANTRONICS headphones.

    No bass and flat sound

    • Written by Cheap S

Very disappointing sound. Bass is non existent. I figured with “beats” headphones I would be able to hear some “beats”. I wish I had saved my money and bought headphones from another company...

    Terrible Product

    • Written by Theja B from Carmel

Even a little bit of moisture ruins the headphones. Terrible waste of money. Any other wireless headphone would be 50% cheaper and 100% better.

Apple support has been useless as well

    Temperamental

    • Written by Denise O

These were great while they worked but quickly were difficult to pair with my devices - IPad and IPhone and requiring a reset every time I went to use them. Now they won't pair at all and looks like the bluetooth function is faulty. I like this product but it did not last and as a result cannot recommend it.

    NOT SWEATPROOF

    • Written by Melissa E from Woodinville

I have been very frustrated to find out that while these are advertised as sweatproof they are in fact NOT. So if you tend to sweat a lot DO NOT BUY THESE. I’ve been taking them to the gym and the past six-ish times they have shut off and will not turn back on. Very frustrating.

I write this review as I sit in the gym

    • Written by Anthony K. E from Clarksville

These things are junk. They will not stay connected to my device for more than 5 minutes before they have to be reset by holding the down volume and power button for 10 secs and repairing the device to my phone. I get no more than 5 more minutes into my workout and these pieces of junk disconnect on me again, and again, and again. It did this the whole workout yesterday so I hooked them to a computer, made sure the firmware was updated, completely reset them and started over and these pieces of junk are still worthless. I’m not running a marathon in the gym, I’m lifting weights, and hardly drenched in sweat. They have never been wet and have been taken care of very well. Won’t ever buy another pair of Beats products and will tell everyone I know not to buy them ever for any amount of money. !

    Power Beats Fell apart

    • Written by Marcus H

My power beats worked well. They were kept in the case they came with when not in use. They literally begin falling apart after warranty period the control just broke and had to be taped to hold it together. A wire popped out the earpiece. The side where they plug in the casing popped off during a run. They are made horribly. I don't know if it is glue or what holds them together but with a little time that comes apart. I own two pairs and I have friends that have had the same issues luckily it started in the warranty period. It's $99 to fix after the warranty. not worth it.

    Compliment of Beats Headphones

    • Written by Joey D

Dear Beats Electronics: I would like to start by saying that beats is the best in audio quality and my personal favorite headphone. I really enjoy my beats for numerous reasons not just only for the sound and the name. As a basketball player and a runner I use the power-beats three because of the light weight of them, amazing sound quality, and durability. They are the perfect headphones for an athlete who is active as much as I am. I also have the Beats Solo 3 as well for use in car rides, at home, and on airplanes. The Solo’s have just as good if not better sound quality than the powerbeats and they are noise canceling so they are perfect when you just want to tune into your music and nothing else. I really enjoy all the times my beats headphones have come in handy and the many times I have been amazed at how good they are. They are very worth the price tag in my opinion because you are getting the highest quality headphones out there. I would just like to ask you at Beats to keep improving if possible and keep making better and better products for me to enjoy. Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to read this and I hope Beats keeps making products for me to buy for years to come.

Failed after using them for working out

    • Written by Brian P from McNeal

Thankfully these were free with a laptop from Apple. They only lasted about two months after I started using them to work out. Sounds like this is the case for just about everyone who uses them for exercise. That would be understandable for normal headphones but these are supposed to be sweatproof and intended for workouts. I’m just glad that I didn’t have to pay for them, but I see now why Apple was giving them away. Shame on you Apple. They were great while they worked but I’ll never buy a Beats product after this experience. Seems they blew their budget on marketing instead of proper R&D.

    Don’t join our Powerweak3 club

    • Written by John S from Coats

Godawful earphones. Disconnect and turn off every 5 minutes it seems like , bass is terrible. Extremely flat sound, not durable. Wish we could all get refunds on the beats or get some AirPods or something cause sending them back does nothing. Sending trash to get more trash. Fix the malfunction or not, I still would jump over the moon if I could get my 200$ back I paid for these flat sounding things. It’s boarderline false advertising saying they’re sweatproof, and advertising the sound to be above par and putting the beats stamp on something as poorly designed as these are. Watch them discontinue all powerbeats3 within the next year or catch a Federal Lawsuit. That would make my day. Not happy. Will never purchase anything else from beats by Dre.

    I thought I lost them

    • Written by Mari G

Yeah if these earbuds could have some sort of tracking chip on them that would be great. It would make them a 5/5 but unfortunately, they don't. I will say, I thought I lost them, turns out they got thrown in the wash with the rest of my clothes. Once I found them, I was scared that maybe it wouldn't work, or it would be wanky or loss of volume, but they still work amazingly. I am not one to leave a review, but these really did hold up so far!

    Troubleshooting

    • Written by Scander Z

I want to know why my earphones dont turn on. It's the 2nd time I've had this issue and when I call support they tell me it might be the sweat. It specifically says that it's water resistant. So I've tried every troubleshooting and nothing works. I paid $200.00 for headphones to workout with and it hasn't held up its name. Somebody tell me what I can do

    Never Work!

    • Written by David S

I recieved these as a gift during Christmas. Rather have gotten coal. I use them while working out, you know the reason they were created. 15 days in they have worked 7 times. 3 of those times music would turn on and off or skip. When you see this product skip right over them and get something else. I would rather go back to a cd player connected to me then use this product. DO NOT WASTE THE MONEY, pure frustration!

    Could have been great.

    • Written by Jason A from Omaha

The battery is great. However the plastic enclosure keeps cracking. Along with this persistent cord seal splits that give way to the raw cord underneath... I will be persuing another wireless listening means.

    Best earphones I've ever had

    • Written by Dugan M

I bought my powerbeats 3 about two years ago and haven't had a single issue with them. I use them at the gym, riding my mountain/road bike, working outside, or just wearing around and they work great. The sound quality is of the best you can get as well as having a great battery life. I would 10/10 recommend these to anyone looking for earphones.
