    Great but

    • Written by Tyler F

I’ve had my Beats for around a year now. They sound great and feel great on my ear. My only complaint is that the earbuds come off too easy. I’ve already replaced the earbuds once, and now the other pair of earbuds have came off.

    Great Product

These earbuds are simple and provide clear audio. I like using them all day at high school, and they will often last me two days of school. I would recommend charging them at night so they are ready to use through the day. Great Product.

Great sound, but poor durability. I try to baby my headphones, but they are falling apart. The eartips routinely fall off and are easily lost. The battery does not live up to expectations. But, they sound nice.

    Unreliable product

    • Written by Armando A

Bought these headphones mainly for going to the gym. In less than a year I started having issues with them. The headphones would charge intermittently. This caused the headphones to be useful only sometimes. Then after some more time they just stop working, they no longer turned on. I tried a reset and still didn't work. Now they are back to only working some of the time. After research it looks like the batter maybe faulty. Dislike getting ready to go the gym and headphone decide they are not going to turn on today. Its like having a bad gym friend.

    Don't exercise in them!

    • Written by Jonathan G

I've purchased the PowerBeats2 and PowerBeats3. Both pairs had the same problem. After a hard workout, they simply wouldn't turn on. I suspect it is an issue with moisture sensitivity. I've been through the Apple Support Community forums, and tried all their suggested remedies for what seems to be a consistent problem among users, to no avail. I would give the product five stars, if it actually worked.

    How long will they work?

    • Written by Marie B

This is my 5th pair of power Beats in less than 3 years (this doesn't account for the refurbished pairs Apple has sent) and you never know when they'll decide to stop working. Apple has been good about replacing my Beats as they went out but it's just a frustrating wondering how long they'll last. Like on today's run they decided to keep skipping songs or replaying songs or activating Siri...previous issues have been they just max out the volume (keep turning it up when I turn it back down); won't charge; won't power on; etc. This set seems close to going so I plugged in to try to get updates. They wouldn't power on the other day so I did the reboot and put them back on the charger and they worked for almost a week (3 runs) but are starting to act up again. Sound quality and comfort are amazing which is why I've kept working with Apple to get the refurbished sets and have even bought 4 sets as the first ones broke...but I'm about done. This set has lasted pretty long but I took time off using them when I quite running the last month of my pregnancy and the two months before I was given the OK to start working out again. So before you buy consider how much effort you want to put in to have working Beats for more than a few months. Also if you buy, register them and keep/scan the receipt so it'll be easier for you to work with Apple support to get a refurbished pair.

    Broke Under 6 months

    • Written by Tyler E

Would use headphones everyday, great sound when they are able to stay in your ear... After constant readjustments during workouts and regular walking throughout my day, one of the "hooks" has just broken off. Quite disappointed with the quality of these headphones considering their price. I had them only for a few months

I use these daily and love everything about them. Powerful clarity, deep bass and they go to 11! You will not be disappointed.

My first beats, impressed thus far

    • Written by Duncan B from Leicester

Having read mixed reviews, I took a leap of faith and took the plunge. I was initially impressed by the connectivity to my iPhone, Apple Watch 4, iPad and iMac. I was however confused as to why they sounded so poor, little bass, tiny harsh mids and muted hops. Thankfully I realised that through testing and using the correct accompanied ear plugs I found the expected sound quality I’d hoped for. In other words, if they’re not secure and fitted
In your ear. They’ll sound terrible. These appear to date to be well designed, of quality build and fit for my purposes with devises on the go, for music and calls. I can recommend them.

These earphones are nice to use for the time that they last. I had three pairs of these and they all did the same thing. Not long in to me having them they just stopped charging and didn't work anymore. Time for some apple air pods

    Good quality but minor issues...

    • Written by Renshiro H from Palo Alto

I had the powerbeats3 for over a year now, and it's good as new. It's very durable and I love the case too. However, there are some issues that I feel are pretty significant. One of them is that the eartip comes off pretty easily. I had several occasions where I had to search for a eartip. Another issue is charging, although the battery life is good, and charging time is blazing fast, I really wanted lighting cable instead of micro-usb. This is my only product from apple with a micro-usb, so for the next generation of powerbeats, I want to see a lighting cable, or usb type-c.

I have tried many wireless headphones and beats seems to always disappoint. The price says promises to deliver a premium product but you get sub par speakers.

First off they are always disconnecting. Second of all they will never fully charge. And last but not least I always had to reset them. Where of my hard earned money. I was really excited to get these too smh

    Absolute Junk

    • Written by John David L from Atlanta

Zero stars actually! How in the world can Apple keep selling a product "designed" to be used during a workout when they shut off when I sweat? This is my 4th pair in 18th months and I've finally figured out why they shut off...sweat. I kept getting replacements from Apple thinking there was a hardware issue. The product advertised by LeBron James shuts off because of sweat. Everything single run or Peloton ride and they shut off. The next day they turn back on and as soon as they get a little sweat on them they shut off again. Yet when I sit them on my desk and just let them play music they work fine. Apple has refused to give me refund, but no worries I will never buy a pair of beats again. #BoseLife.
