    Had to refund my powerbeats3

Unfortunately I have to write a bad review on these earphones compared to the powerbeats2 I find this product to be a downgrade. I had to to send this back to the store twice. I use these consistently at the gym so my earphones normally get covered in sweat especially after a run on the treadmill. These earphones lasted me a good 5 months until it started playing up on me. After a full charge it got to the point where I am only getting 5 minutes of usage or even less until it decides to switch itself off. Once I came to realise this issue I took it back to the store and got it switch for a brand new product. After having a brand new powerbeats3 the same problem arised however only after 1 month. At this point I had to get my money back. The downfall I would say for the powerbeats3 is the lack of durability to the elements. On the box it claims to be water/sweat resistant. I believe it is because it lacks a cover for the usb port unlike the powerbeats2. I used to own a pair of powerbeats2 which lasted me for a good 2 years until it started to break. There are some good points however I'd like to address. Aesthetically these are my favorite wireless earphones compared to the competition. I like the 12hr battery life and the quick charge. I hope you can consider more features for the powerbeats4 in order to get ahead of the competition.

    Disappointing

I am on my second set of Powerbeats 3 headphones- the first pair was returned due to the fact that they didn't hold a charge and kept dying after 10 minutes, which was especially annoying while I was at the gym working out. As for the second pair, the volume decreases to mute without touching my phone or the control button, which is strange because the control button stopped working and I can't even adjust the volume from it! Both pairs failed me within 3 days of purchase.

    DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

Disappointed with this earphone. I keep losing Bluetooth connection while working out and believe me, it's definitely not sweat resistant. I always had respect for Apple products, but I lost my respect with this product. I want to return this product and go for another brand, but unfortunately I can't since I purchased at Bestbuy which is another great mistake ( they just have 14 days return policy). Totally disappointed!!!

    DOESNT WORK AFTER 1 MONTH

So I owned a pair Powerbeats 2, but after losing them I was bummed! They worked so well for the time that I had them and then I lost them. My girlfriend bought me the Powerbeats3 for my birthday and I was stoked . But only for about a month. After using them day in and day out in the gym they completely stopped working out of nowhere . When I would be in the gym hoping that they would work it always seem to pause my music and then the ear phones would just randomly turn off . 230$ for a piece of garbage product. Do not buy

Support is great at replacing but the product doesn't work after a few week

Same problems at PB2. You can use them and they are great but I have owned 5 pair (all replaced free of charges) and none have lasted. Volume control, charging, on/off switch eventually die and eventually the PW3 must be replaced.

PB3 LASTED FOR LESS THAN A WEEK

I was pretty happy when i got the PB3 for father's day (June 18) . I work out almost everyday and run at least 4 times per week more than 6 miles , and after trying some low cost bluetooth earphones , my wife got me what she though would be a TOP product . BIG MISTAKE , in the 3rd day of use ( UNBELIVABLE ) I started to experience exactly the same as others clients had ..Ups and Downs in the music volume , interruptions in the middle of the music , Siri coming out of the blue and lost of connection .
I have to say the worst part of the process is the fact my wife got even more upset than me since she was the one who made the purchase with nothing but good intention . Going to get my second pair tomorrow ...

DO NOT BUY THE POWERBEATS 3 !

What a poor product!! Basically I could copy and paste pretty much all the complaints below. I had the same sweat generated problems everybody else had. Since the first time I ran with the thing, volume goes up and down randomly music stops and even the voice control kicks in for no reason. Most probably due to a fundamental design flaw which allows moisture to come in the controls. If you haven't bought it yet DO NOT if it is too late do yourself a favor. Buy another product and avoid the futile attempts to fix the problem.

    Horrible Headphones

I am currently on my 3rd pair of Powerbeats 3 and can not get them to stay working. I will never again waist my time Or money on these.
$200 and I have to wast my life talking to Tech support only to have to turn around and wait a week for a replacement. A 100% waist of time and money! Save yourself the time and aggravation and buy Bose! This is coming from someone who owns an IPhone, IPad, and a MacBook!

After the 3rd pair, I asked for my money back

I was willing to give them a chance..God, I was so wrong! 3 pairs later I said "enough is enough, gimme my money back!" The minute you sweat, these headphones DIE. Complete lie that they are sweat and water resistant. They're advertised as working out headphones, utter garbage. I wish they worked, because the sound was actually really good. But the material is rubbish. Apple you should be ashamed. Just disgustingly bad. I would give this a zero star rating. Avoid this product at all costs! Thank me later!

Sound and battery great...when they work

About to return my 2nd pair of PowerBeats 3 in 3 months. Once again they have decided to stop working for no reason. The quality of sound and the battery performance is impressive but they seem so poorly made. After about 3 weeks of use on both pairs, they have decided not to turn on. After trying the usual troubleshooting and resets Apple admitted that they were faulty and replaced them. Have now decided to get a refund and buy some AirPods which friends have told me are very durable.

Perhaps Beats are still not being made by the same hardware teams that make other (usually reliable) Apple products? I would avoid!

Not even worth 1 star (5th replacemnt)

Not worth it at all. I am on my 5th replacement. They work for about a week or two than die and will not power on. Forget the 12 hour life, I get 30-45 minutes out of each charge.

    Unbelievably frustrated

People sweat when they workout....who knew? apparently not Apple & Beats. These are unbelievably frustrating as the fit and sound is amazing but it doesn't matter much if you actually use them as intended. Half way through an intense workout and shutdown....how did these pass quality control? They're marketed as workout headphones for petes sake! Maybe these are for those people that want the workout look without actually working out kind of like all of those yoga pants you see floating around. Get it together Apple & beats!

    Rubbish

    Do not buy.

Just gone for a run with my third set - picked up yesterday. At the start before any sweat none of buttons on the powerbeats worked.
At the end of the run the music went haywire and played just a few seconds of each track.

    Stay clear of this junk.

    Worthless and embarrassing

I was originally recommended these earbuds after my first pair of over the ear Beats shorted out in one ear. I should have switched to another brand inmediately. These earbuds are nothing but trash. I workout hours each day and within one month, every single workout these things will randomly disconnect from bluetooth, turn off completely or cause my iPhone to play my music out loud (which is embarrassing in a crowded gym!) Waste of $200 I assure you. DO NOT BUY

    Love Beats!

I've had my Beats Powerwireless going on 5 years now. Great product for a great price and it lasts!!! Of course if you don't care for them properly they won't last. Not sure why there are so many bad reviews. I've been loving this product and looking to get my second pair! Great for working out too!!

Piece of trash don't waste your money

I bought these so I can workout vigorously without interruption. Boy do I regret wasting my $200 on this garbage. The minute you start sweating and it touches them they automatically turn off over and over. I didn't read the reviews before buying them as I trusted apple product would be top...really disappointed. One month and I have to return them to apple. They better replace them...rather burn your cash than buying these

    Just junk..

2nd pair in 6 weeks has just packed up.
Don't buy they really are awful.
Apple...What are you doing having any association with such junk?
Do yourself a favour and recall all Powerbeats and save your good name.

    Awful!

You want workout earbuds? Does Apple's advertising lead you to belive these would be a good option? Well tough, cause these are terrible. Constantly having to get them repaired after they stop working mid workout. Run, weights, whatever. As soon as you sweat who knows what will happen

If I could get my money back I'd do it in a heartbeat

Connects with iPhone. Endless trouble with Mac

Sometimes it simply won't connect to a Macbook. What is the point of the W1 chip and all that marketing if the thing won't connect? I click connect from the Bluetooth menu and nothing happens most of the time.
