    Garbage

I was skeptical of beats as I don’t think some rapper is an expert in terms of earbuds, seems I was correct. The volume control and track skip have stopped working, I bet it’s because they’re not sweat resistant... these feel like $30 earbuds, not $200. Do not buy.

    Poor Quality Given the Price

The sound quality of the beats and the visual appeal are the only two good things about these headphones. The battery life is terrible and they die on me mid-workout all the time, even after a full night of charging. The ear holders slip back frequently and I am constantly having to readjust them. I expected a lot more for what I payed.

    Don't waste your money

I have now been through two pairs of these in less than 2 years. Both pairs broke less than a year after using. Apple charges more money to fix them out of warranty than it is to buy a new pair. They are cheaply made and will not last. Definitely not worth it... I will be looking into a new brand for my next pair.

    Very convenient for Apple products

I own many Apple products, iMac, Macbook Pro, iPad, and iPhone. Once connected to one Apple device, everything else is all connected - really convenient! Sound is not as good as Shure earphone. Bass is good, but treble is not sufficient. Good for voice, music, but lack high fidelity audio.

    Third Bad Pair

I like the ear clip but after three pair that won't stay connected to my iphone, I must switch brands. The start out working great for the first month or so then they start disconnecting during mid song. I can't complete a thirty minute workout with out them disconnecting from my phone. Then the light flashes white three time and goes out. I reset the unit but it does not help. Very frustrated and disappointed.

Powerbeats3 needs to be discontinued and buyers refunded

I've now had to replace these 2 or 3 times through apple, and I was surprised to see that hundreds of other users have written in here to report similar experience and yet Apple/Beats has done nothing to fix this product. As other users have complained, my pair breaks down after normal use very quickly and easily. Charging issues, the on-unit control and speaker stops working, then ultimately they just die. Although it's nice that I'm getting them replaced, it is super inconvenient to have constant poor usage and then down time where i need to go back to the store and wait for a repalcement for a PRODUCT THAT COSTS $200. I'm about to go pick my replacements up and I'm going to see if they will just refund me. Do yourself a favor and run away from these. I'll admit they are great when working, but are super low quality and unreliable.

Sound Quality lacks Intensity; Volume still low at Max Level.

The actual selling point of the Powerbeats3 is the robust and rigid design, 12-hrs battery life and sweat/water resistance. However, Sound Quality still falls below par for audiophiles like myself. I'll rate the Intensity at 80%, having used other audiophile in-ears like Skull Candy Smokin' buds 2 and JVC Xtreme-Xplosivs HAFX1X. I think the Powerbeats3 lacks as much intensity as required to stimulate the release of endorphins. I enjoy my music loud and bass-heavy, that's why I'm writing this sincere review. I believe Beats and Apple can do better. Whenever I listen to my playlist from the Boom App on iOS, the Powerbeats3 sounds better (because of the Effects). In other words, I'll be the happiest customer if Beats/Apple integrates more effects, especially intensity & loudness in the next update of the firmware. With Love, from Nigeria.

    Broke after 4 months

Same issue as many others. Battery stopped working and wouldn't charge. Apple should admit there's a problem and offer free return and money back but , as usual, they won't admit to a faulty product. Feel ripped off

    Broke after only 6 months

These things don't sound that great, are not very comfortable, and don't last long. I don't treat my electronics harshly. The cover on the controller popped off after only 6 months and Apple refused to repair them under warranty. Don't waste your money.

    Do not buy this

1 star is too much to rate this horrible in ear phone. If i could turn back time i will never buy this. Mine broke after 2 months and i sent it back to claim for new one. The one i have is the 4th one yet i still don’t know if it will function properly.
Each time i have to wait for 2-3 week for the new one to arrive.
So i’ll do you all a favor just don’t buy it. This actually makes me loose all faith in Apple products.

    Trash

If you're anything like my self and are looking for a set of wireless headphones for working out, these are not for you. They shut off during my workout due to an automatic shut off feature when they get wet. They say sweat resistant but are not sweat proof. This is the most frustrating thing that can possibly happen when working out and I'd rather light $200 on fire then have my headphones cut out on me during a set. Save your money and stick with wired headphones or buy anything but these beats.

    would give it 0 stars

Purchased these end of January 2017. First set stopped working 2 months later, got a second set which stopped working 2 weeks after receiving them. So now I am on the third set which have stopped working after a few months. GARBAGE!! Customer service claims they send new not refurbished headphones... Don't by these overpriced unreliable headphones!!

    Worthless

I bought a new pair of the Powerbeats3 and within a week of owning them, they stoppped working. After several days of hassle between the sprint store and Apple store, I was finally told to mail them in. So I did, they then mailed me back a new/refurbished pair, which worked great for about a month. Till they stopped working just like the last pair... DONT BUY THEM! THEY'RE WORTHLESS!!

    Best Earphones for a Month

I love these earbuds but they only lastt a month tops. Apple has replaced them 4-5 times already. It takes longer to get the replacements than they actually work. Comfort is great, sound is great, but they just stop working/charging. Apple really needs to revisit this because I’m not satisfied.

    Love/Hate Them

They work flawlessly until they mess up. Its been 5 months since I bought them and they won't turn on. I charge them for hours and when I unplug to turn them on I only get three blinking lights. Its frustrating, good thing is that I'm get a new pair sent out but I expected more coming from this brand.

    Horrible compared to Beats2

I bought the beats3 to replace the beats2 that I had broken. I am not very impressed with them. In reading the recent reviews for beats 3 (I wish I had read before I bought). These are horrible! I will have to super glue my beats2 together. First they don't turn on easily even after charging them for several hours. Only the head set shows on my phone, no battery level. The charging port does not have a cover and is left open. Suppose to last 12 hours I was lucky to get 5 hours. I wear these while working in an office, to listen to music and block out the background noise.

Keep breaking - don't buy these!!!

I have owned these earphones for less than a year and they continue to break. I have sent them in for repair/replacement 3 times already, meaning I have had working earphones for about half the time I have owned them. When they are working properly, they are awesome! great sound, great fit- but the BAD definitely outweighs the GOOD in this situation. they are an incredibly unreliable product and I am so unbelievably frustrated and disappointed in this purchase. if i hadn't paid so much for them, i would throw them away and purchase a different brand... save your time, money, and frustration and find a different brand to purchase.

Not even funny how many issues these have

I'm sure by now you've read a bunch of reviews saying how bad these are, Let me add the that THEY SHUT OFF AT AROUND 40F!!! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO WORK OUT IN THE WINTER OUTSIDE OR SNOWBOARD WITH THESE IF THEY SHUT OFF AT 40 DEFREES!!!!! PATHETIC!!!!
