    Power beat 3 earbuds

This is my third 3rd pair sent to me from apple and each pair sounded the same like horrible I dont know what Apple did after taking over from dr dre but they went downhill and destroyed the overall sound quality the deep bass is gone they're not loud at all and all I got from a senior advisor at apple was well to bad we sent you two pair already and that's how they sound which I thought was pretty arrogant and rude, he told me on the second pair if I didn't like them he'd give me an upgrade which turned out to be a straight up lie. Its ashame apple destroyed them, the 2's were incredible. I highly suggest if your must a moderate listener and dont care about bass and volume then they're for you but anybody who wants deep bass and loud volume DO NOT BUY the 3's their horrible and apple destroyed a good set of ear buds compared to the 2's. I have a cheap pair of 50$ earbuds that blow the 3's away. It's horrible the public was not informed that they made a change and took away the bass and volume to protect them from any law suits do to ear damage as I was told from a se our advisor. Shame on you apple from a what use to be a happy satisfied customer, I will no longer purchase from you.

    Powerbeats wireless earphones

Although apple support is very helpful and I had zero issues getting them replaced multiple times, I am on my third pair in less than 7 months. I sweat a lot during my workouts, and that seems to be the only conclusion I can make as to why they just break on me a lot. They are bad quality and not build to last even through a sweaty workout. I am disappointed in this product. I use these every day and when they break... its a bad day

Terrible quality - rigid ear hook will snap off at some point

I’ve used these for 8 months before one ear-hook snapped off. The metal pin is too rigid and will not bend well over your ear. I’ve sent them to Apple to fix and they asked for repair fees. I’m really upset how badly designed these are. Do not buy these if you workout frequently. They will not last!!!

Worst product ever created by mankind, in the history of mankind. EVER.

Same problem as thousands, and I mean Millions of people around the world. Even astronauts are having the same issue with the "Powerless" Beats 3. These were a christmas gift, this year. On my third pair. All due to the same issue. Garbage product.

    Connectivity/Charging Issues

I had really hoped that these would be the long lasting Bluetooth head phones that I've been looking for. Unfortunately though, it seems they have some quality issues when manufacturing these since I'm not the only one having these issues. Even if you charge them through the night, 5 minutes into using the headphones, Bluetooth connection goes away and won't let you reconnect. Seems to have gone "dead". Will not buy them again, have actually just asked for a refund instead.

    Terrible

Got these for christmas and had no problems until about a month later. i guess the ratings were correct because they wont even turn on anymore. The light never turns on after charging or resetting the headphones. I thought apple was better than this. guess not

    Clips Break Off

This product is not representative of Apple's high quality standards. I have owned 2 pairs of this product, and one of an earlier generation. On all 3 pairs the clips broke off. On the 3rd pair Apple made it very challenging to make a warranty claim even thought this was clearly a warranty issue and the product was still under warranty.

Ultimately do to my bad experience with both the product and service department I will not be returning to buy these or similar products from Apple again.

DO NOT BUY - DEFECTIVE PRODUCT. PENDING CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST APPLE

I love the fit/feel of these earbuds, the battery life, and the sound quality is amazing.. when they work. I am currently on my fourth pair in less than one year. The first two pair had identical problems: after several weeks of problem-free use, they would randomly disconnect from my iPhone and not re-pair for several hours. For the third pair, they would not accept/retain a charge or power on. Completely dead.

Clearly this a serious failure of engineering and quality control on the part of Apple; the fact that they have not issued a recall or refunds for this defective trash is incredible to me. This was my first "Beats" brand product. My experience with the Powerbeats 3's has guaranteed I will NEVER purchase another product made by them.

Bottom line, these headphones should have never been released for sale considering the myriad issues with them that Apple must have been aware of prior to roll out. There is a pending class action lawsuit against Apple for the defective nature of these headphones. I would encourage other buyers with similar experiences to look into it.

The only positive thing I can say is Apple Support has agreed to replace them every time no questions asked.

    3 Months old

I'm having the same issue everyone else is. They power up and then shut off 5 minutes into my workout. All the resetting does not solve the issue.

    TERRIBLE FOR THE GYM

These headphones are NOT sweat/water resistant. I bought a pair and only wore them a few times. They would not charge, they would disconnect and reconnect to my phone in the middle of my workout, the volume would go from max to mute and vice verse on its own. You’re better off buying a $10 pair of Skull Candy headphones! Apple sent me a replacement pair of these headphones and after one use of the new pair, I’m having the same issues. Not worth it at all. Terrible customer service on top of it!

    Bad, bad, bad.

These headphones are the only Apple product I've owned that I regret buying. I bought them to be my go-to gym headphones and, at first, they were great (once you find the tip that works for you). Fast forward 6 months and they're broken. A workout starts fine but within 20-30 minutes the headphones are in my pocket after repeatedly turning off. I've done the software/firmware reset and they still do the same thing. Because my limited warranty is up, I'm stuck with these useless things.

    Powerbeats AREN'T sweatproof!

I've only had the powerbeats for a little over a month and they are already malfunctioning. They shut off completely when I sweat heavily, and sometimes do not turn back on until they dry and are plugged in. Now they will not hold a charge at all. The battery life is MAYBE 2 hours now. Tried these since the same thing happened to my JBL's. but proving to be a terrible purchase!

    HORRIBLE PRODUCT

After watching an amazing TV commercial where Lebron James and other athtletes workout using this headphone, I decided to pay the readiculous price (for not as good of sound as Bose Products) to use while running. After a couple of uses it stopped working during an easy run on the treadmill. Brought it in and paid U$99 to exchange for new ones (mine couldnt be fixed). This was Oct/17. This week, again it stopped working (again indoor running) and I brought back to repair. After waiting for 1 hour (even though I had time scheduled), I was made aware that even though I paid to get new ones last time, I would have to (again) pay $99 to get them fixed. I mean, why do you advertise something for sports if it cant be used like that? Not to mention the poor service at the store. BIZARRE! If younare reading this DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!

Worst Purchasing Experience Ever!! Buyers Beware!

This was the last Apple product I've purchased and will be the reason I hesitate ever buying anything from Apple again. I paid full retail for these when they first came out and have had nothing but issues since first receiving them. I've experienced all sorts of issues with the volume randomly going slowly down to 0 and drops in bluetooth connections. I've had issues with the volume and mute buttons not working and even complete failures of the powerbeats3 wireless earphones. I'm literally waiting for my 5th replacement pair right now and there is no grass on the other side of this hill. So I've only actually been able to use these headphones a hand full of times and I paid $200 for them brand new. I've then wasted tens of hours going through troubleshooting and RMA processes. With all the time and money invested here, I could have had a custom iPhone X and some air pods to boot.... Instead... I have an expired warranty and another replacement unit in the mail.......

I tried really hard to give it 0 stars because this was the worst ROI I've ever experienced. Xp

    Second Pair, Same Problems

I had a pair of Powerbeats 3 and they worked fine for about 6 weeks or so. Then, like many others have reported, they randomly started turning off when used during workouts. I pretty much exclusively bought these for working out, so that obviously presented a problem. It would take 30 minutes or so for them to be able to turn back on. This only happened when I got pretty deep into the workouts, so I'm fairly positive it was related to sweat getting on the device. After this went on for a while I decided to call Apple Support. They were helpful and got me a second pair.

Pretty much the same story with the second pair. Had them for about 2 months or so when the exact same issues started. Last night I was at the gym and they shut off randomly. Again it took about 30 min before I could turn them back on.

The sound quality is fine and I've had no issues with charging them. However, since they shut off at random times I absolutely will NOT be buying another pair of Powerbeats and I would encourage others to look elsewhere as well.

Poor quality product with poor quality service

Used these headphones for less then a week and they stopped working. Since they are an apple product you can’t simply return then you have to go to the Apple store. After waiting for someone to exchange their defective product I'm told they will look at repairing the and it could be up to a week or two weeks. At $249 this is unreal. Honestly when they did work they didn’t sound these much better the n the $20 stopgap ones I picked up at the airport. All sound disappointed in Apple these days.

    Garbage

Preparing to mail in my second pair to get yet another "refurbished" set. After about a month of use the bluetooth begins to fail. They will not hold a charge. They also dont sound as good as the originals. Ever since apple bought beats they've destroyed the brand. They're an incredibly overpriced headphone. You're better off buying a cheap pair of wireless headphones off amazon. I actually had to use a pair while i was waiting on my 2nd set of repaired headphones and im thinking about going back to them.

    Unreliable!!

I am on my 4th set of powerbeats 3. I am a runner and sweat a lot during my workouts. This is what I believe the issue is as to why I've had to return them so many times over the course of a year. They are NOT sweat proof/water resistant as they claim. My one year warranty is up and I am afraid to even put them back on in the gym and lose out on the $200 I spent on them.... but hey 4 head sets for $200, I guess Im making out on that deal.... NOT! If they break again, Im almost certain I will never buy another Beats product EVER!!! On the other hand, Apple customer service has been awesome each and every time I had to send them back, no hassle whatsoever.
