Best Wireless earphones for apple products

These earphones are incredible, never disconnects and signal has never dropped out (4 months). Sound Quality is far superior to AirPods and they provide great noise cancellation, the ear tips allow actual comfort compared to the awkward feel of traditional apple earphones. The design is sleek and fantastic for leisure and really easy to style with anything. Would recommend over all substitutes at least when it comes to apple device users.

    Miracles

I bought a set of beatsx earphones for my sons birthday. He lost them one day mowing grass on the farm. We knew there was no point in even looking for them. Over a month later, after weeks of flooding and torrential storms here in central Virginia, a friend happened to find them in the parking lot of the business shop where numerous dump trucks, heavy equipment, and other vehicles frequent daily. We were convinced they wouldn’t work, but my son charged them up anyway and they worked like a charm! Months later...still working. Unreal!

    Highly Disappointed

I have had my Beats X for less than 24 hours. I have been highly disappointed with the product and the store experience overall.

    Pros:
    -Quick Connectivity
    -Cord is Comfortable
    -Multiple adjustment accessories
    -Quick Charge (5 mins)

    Cons:
    -Battery Life
    -Sound
    -Ear Bud Comfort

The headset connects fairly quickly and seamlessly between my iPhone 8+, iPad Pro, and MacBook Pro. No issues there. I like that the box came with multiple earbud adjustments, however having smaller ears, I have yet to find a comfortable spot. I turned on the Beats X with about 95% battery from the box. I used the headphones to test out the sound for an hour and then promptly turned them off and was at 85%, which seemed 'ok' for 30-40% volume. I turned them on for a work call this morning and the battery showed 13%. I performed a hard reset and it went down to 11%. I performed a 'quick' charge for 5 minutes and the battery is only up to 20%, so I do believe I received a defective device. Highly, highly disappointed in the battery life. The sound is also lackluster. I have a pair of AirPods, but will also be returning those as I do not like the comfort or the sound on those either. There is not enough equalization between frequencies on the Beats X. I wanted to enjoy these, but I am disappointed by the battery life and sound quality. Will be making a return and purchasing something different.

    Great! Until they weren’t

Absolutely loved these beats earbuds...better than jaybird...until my right ear just quit. This happened 2 weeks after the one year warranty! My jaybird earbuds are still taking the abuse. Oh well, live and learn.

I love them but they only lasted 7 months

I love these headphones they are comfortable but they died after minimal use after 7 months the battery life only last a few hours. I would buy again once the flaws are resolved

    Very poor build quality

I bought beats x last year for my birthday, and ever since have only ah trouble with them. The speaker grills keep becoming loose meaning it affects the sound quality as well. This is the 3rd time it has happened and I’m sick of only having them replaced when I want a refund. Will be switching to beats solo 3 soon. Seriously do not recommend to anyone

    Good bass but faulty build

Bought these back in March and have used them basically every day since then. They're super convenient for walking to/from work and wearing around the office. The charge holds pretty much all day and it charges really quickly which is nice. But I've had some sync issues and the cover for the volume control fell off. I have the Pixel 2 and have had some sync issues with these. Randomly the sound will cut out even though my phone shows that I'm still connected. This happens regardless of whether the earbuds are fully charged or not. I've had to turn my phone completely off and back on again to re-sync properly otherwise it gets stuck in a loop of un-syncing & re-syncing with no sound. I'm very careful with my earbuds- putting them away in a baggy/case when I store it in my purse or just keeping them around my neck all the time. When I set these down on my desk the other day I noticed that the panel that has the volume control buttons had separated on its own. I put it back together and it seemed fine but later in the day I noticed that it had somehow fallen off again even though I just had these hanging around my neck. I'm going to try reaching out to customer support but sad that the build quality of these aren't better.

    Not worth it

I just had my beats repaired about a month or 2 ago. I was told that my headphones had been replaced with a new pair and yet these "new" beats haven't lasted a month. One entire side has a short and rarely works. Is this what happens with repairs they just recycle broken headphones? This is my first and last pair of beats and although I really liked them they're not worth the hassel. I tried an update on these "new" headphones with no success. This whole experience is disappointing.

    Defect with this product!

Have had my beats for less than 6 months. Suddenly they won't charge anymore and only blink red even after i tried resetting them. They are not worth it and even though they worked fine at first, the music quality wasn't that great and the wings that come with them break really easily especially if you're using these everyday like when working out.

    Disappointment yet again...

I have my BeatsX just over year and they failed to turn on one day. It seems from a quick online search that this is a common problem.

The reason I am not giving this a one star is because the earphones have served me well but not nearly long enough. This again is another Apple product that will have to be tossed in the bin. Shame.

Lots of trouble connecting for phone calls.

I can listen to music and movies just fine. But for whatever reason, it has the hardest time connecting audio from phone calls. I have to switch the output to Phone or Speaker. But selecting BeatsX just results in absolute silence, even with the audio maxed out. I’ve already tried resetting the Beatsx as well as exchanging it. It just seems to be a flaw with the design.

Stopped working one week after opening

I cannot tell you how much I hate the BeatsX earbuds. I have owned Beats Studios and Beats Solos, but these are HORRID. I wanted something light in weight and easy to run with so I bought these. Within one week of me opening the box they would not work. I have already sent these back for a return!!

    Lasted 6 months

The product itself was good - high quality cordless headphones. I go to the gym every morning and Bluetooth headphones are the way to go. However, after daily use the wire that connected my beats began to tear and no longer played music out of the right headphone. This was also happening in the same spot on the other side, so I knew it wasn’t from me accidentally tearing them. I took them back to Apple (because they are still under warranty) and they told me that was it not covered. While the products original design is not faulty, the product failed to perform for a year after purchase.. They asked if I would like to replace but why would I pay $79 for headphones to last 6 months? The damage is from regular use, so I can only imagine a new pair would do a similar thing. Both customer service reps I spoke with were nice, but can only work in the bounds of Apples warranty. Needless to say I will not purchase another pair of headphones from Apple and if you want your product to last, I would not either.

    Awesome Headset

Purchased in November 2017. I listen to music at work everyday for a sold 6 hours. I usually need to charge the headset every other day. I've never had an issue connecting the headset to my iPhone 6 or staying connected. Sound is very clear and balanced for both music and phone calls. The freedom of wireless is unbelievable and I'll never go back to wired headset. Very durable headset considering I use them for workouts, cutting grass and I have two small kids that think they're really cool too.

    Mehhh... They're Okay!

Sound quality = 4 stars -- These sound okay but are not superb to other high-end brands. I have a pair of two-year old [corded] Beats in-ears that sounds just as good (if not better) than the BeastX. The bass isn't the best; although, I don't know if I need too much bass with in-ears -- I like bass!

Weight = 5 stars -- These are VERY light weight to the point that I forget that I'm wearing them. They don't get in the way and the magnets are perfect for keeping them from falling off without me being aware.

Easily switch between devices = 3 stars -- I have another pair of over-ear premium headphones that makes it very easy to switch between synced devices directly on the ear cuff. Even though I use my BeatsX with Mac and iOS devices [four to be exact], it requires too many steps to switch between devices. Their manual claims that it's easy to switch by referencing the option while using Apple Music; however, not all apps that create audio have that option readily available on the main user interface. Therefore, I often have to open Settings, then Bluetooth to connect to my [already synced] BeatsX. This poses a real problem when needing to quickly switch between devices!

Battery life = 3.5 stars -- Apple/Beats claims an 8-hour battery life; however, I haven't experienced that length of availability while streaming music for an 8-hour work day [minus one hour for lunch]. They consistently reach 7% remaining battery (the first low battery alert) at about 7 hours in. I've let them die completely a few times, which clocked in at right about 7.5 hours... Maybe they're rounding up for the "8 hour" battery life claim. I will commend them on the fast charging battery though. Assuming you're able to recharge; you should be good to go with a full battery in about 45 minutes.

I also noticed that the battery seems to drain a lot faster when they're on, but not in use; therefore, remember to turn them off if you're not actively using them or they'll be 'dead' when you need them. I'd like to see them add an auto shut-off feature [like my other high-end brand of headphones] to conserve battery when not in use!

    Favorite purchase all year

I got the BeatsX after I upgraded to my iPhone X. I’ve never had wireless headphones but with no headphone jack I figured I had to. I expected to be annoyed by having to keep my earbuds charged. Being able to charge these with a lightning connector makes it super easy. They charge quick and hold a charge. I’ve had them for 6 months. Plug them in for 10 minuets in the morning and they’ve never come close to dying on me. I keep them around my neck with the cool magnets that hold them together and they never get lost. I’m pleasantly surprised my how much I love these earbuds. It’s my favorite purchase all year.

    Clearly a marketing gimmic.

Dre should be ashamed to associate with such terrible sound. OMG they sound like an am radio from the 70s. If they won’t take them back I will throw the two pair I bought today...away. Sad sad sad. Feel good look good, sound BAD !!! Apple ear pods are 5x the sound. Shame on you all!!!

Very dissapointed that my headphones stopped working after 1 year.

I was very pleased with the quality of the headphones but was very disappointed when they broke down after having them for only 1 year. I purchased on 5/10/17 and they stopped working on 5/14/18. Now I have been told that I need to purchase a new pair or replace the pair for $80.00 which is ridiculous since I take very good care of my headphones and they stopped working due to something defective with their product. The fact that they stopped working after a year does not make me feel confident in purchasing or replacing because how am I guaranteed that they will not break down after a year again.

Should last longer than 14 months

Honestly these were the best earphones I had ever owned until they decided to stop working in the right ear just after the warranty expired. I'm very gentle with my electronics. I used them yesterday morning and they were fine. In the afternoon audio was only coming out of the left ear. They still charge fine and every other thing functions except I get no audio from the right earphone. 150 bucks is a lot of money to have to spend on wireless buds once a year. I'm really bummed about this. If you're lucky this won't happen to you. I was hopeful about these. They seemed sturdy.
