    Great wireless headphones!

Great quality pair of headphones. To be expected from Beats and Apple now. Packaging is great, materials feel very nice. Sound quality is pretty good. I wouldn't say they are the best IEM's but there good for the price point. Bass is there but not bass heavy as the urbeats.

As mentioned by others here, they aren't 100% perfect. There close! Pairing is simple, comfort is great (for my ears anyways) and theres much customizability available. I love that they are lightening cable as I hated micro usb and having to carry around different cables. The case they come with could be better....

    Wireless, W1, and Improved Sound

It's been a while since I've tried Beats earphones. My first foray was with their original offering, and I wasn't overly impressed...a very muddy sound with an overemphasis on bass and flat highs. I'm not claiming that the BeatsX is a revelation, but they do sound significantly better, to a level that I'm happy with. They won't replace my in ear monitors, but for work and recreation, they rock! The W1 chip does a fine job and listening time is awesome. I never really considered the convenience of wireless, but heck, I don't know if I could ever go back now. There are some usability issues, sticky power button, cable not as pliable as I'd want so it bends in awkward angles, ear tips still junk silicone (I replaced mine with Comply memory foam). However, even with these minor issues I'd rate these earphones a 5★.

    Exceeded expectations

I'm very impressed with these. Having owned many Sennheiser units over the decades (I still use some), I had some trepidation about the BeatsX based on Beats general reputation for being very bass heavy (heavier than the momentum 2 in-ears), but decided to give them a go as I was getting tired of the adaptor with the iPhone7.

    I'm glad I did.

The BeatsX have a remarkably balanced sound. They start off out of the box with a lot of top end brightness - and it's a little harsh on some music. However, over a week or so of use this calms down, and what you're left with is a really nice sound that has plenty of detail. And don't get me wrong, when you want bass it's there.

Battery life is good, fit is good, W1 works (I've never had a problem with bluetooth pairing, so not a plus point for me), bluetooth works VERY well where others have had issues (like Kings Cross station in London at rush hour).

    A genuinely good product

Mic Is Not Sound Cancelling. Amazing Sound.

These have amazing sound, very well suited for music tasks and use in the gym. The mic does not have any sound cancellation and the other person can hear all sorts of street noise, bus noise, etc. They had an opportunity to build the best bluetooth headset, but they missed the mark.

    Very Happy

Arrived in middle of delivery window.
Unboxed - wow - super light, very easy to connect - awesome sound. Felt like Birdy and Adele were giving my ears their own private concert! : )
    Love the magnetic earbuds

    Fantastic!

These are truly wonderful. Super easy to setup and absolutely can't imagine why I would want wireless headphones without a lightning-based charging! They are slightly less bass heavy than the PowerBeats 3 I traded in for these, but clearly shines in the mid with crisp true vocals. Perfect fit for my ears with the wingtips.

Excellent range, comfort and great sound.

I absolutely love these. They're light and comfortable to wear, offering great isolation and sound with a high quality streaming source. The connectivity range is great, I can walk around my house and there's no stutter or lag. Battery life is good and the lightning port is a huge convenience if you're only around iPhones.

Comfortable, good noise isolation, good sound - what happens when it rains

I've used a lot of BT headphones and wanted some with noise isolation. These fit well into the ear and stay put without the extra wings. Couldn't be happier with that. I took off a star because the lightning charging port is completely exposed, i.e., it has no cover. I'm worried these will be ruined if I wear them in the rain. Anyone know if they've made that port waterproof like they did on the iPhone 7? This could be a deal-breaker.

    Great Wireless Companion =D

I have been waiting for this Wireless Beats X since the launch of Iphone7.
The sound quality from the earphones are much better than the earpods itself.
    Its compact and user friendly.
The bass itself is not too bad.
It is really designed for long day usage and especially the 5 min Fast Fuel.
Battery life is so far so good.
Great to have them by side all along.

    Kudos BeatsX

    I'm impressed now...

At first, I heard no bass on it. I tried the apple earbuds, I heard a bass on it and as well as on my wireless beats studio. I looked for an ad of BeatsX in youtube. I was suspecting it might just be on how I put it on my ears. Oh, I get it now! I know which one is for the left and right earpiece at all! Nothing's indicated on the BeatsX earpiece or even on the wire...I thought, anything will do as long as you put it on your ears. So, it was just how fit it on my ears. I heard bass, now. So far, it's better than my apple earbuds and I'm impressed! I'm not returning this at all! I'm happy with my BeatsX, now! ❤❤❤

    Excellent

Can't beat the convenience of the W1 chip as it takes the pain out of pairing Bluetooth devices. Also, as an iphone user, the charging via lightning cable is very convenient since I have chargers everywhere. And charging is made even more convenient due to the fast charging capabilities that really work!!

These are very comfortable and fit my ears well. As usual, you millage may vary but they include 3 other ear-tips plus wingtips so I imagine most of the population will be covered as far as comfort and fit. I am no audiophile but these sound just fine to me. Loud enough and the bass is decent. Maybe not as heavy on the bass as other beats products but definitely more than the air-pods and other comparable in-ear style sets. I think with these, sound quality seems better due to the passive noise cancellation with the ear tips. I was surprised how much sound was blocked out.

Great product for daily use, so convenient, nice sound

I have the Shure 846 and Westone W60.
The Beats don't sound like the Westone but they are so convenient for day to day use.
Better sound than pods, nice sound for every day use.
These ones are ideal for music and audiobooks on the go.

    The Height of Convenience

I'd just like to say how incredible the W1 chip is. Seamless sound, long range, low power usage (both on headphones and phone), and instantaneous connection. They look great, feel great, and stay on- even when I'm skateboarding or rock climbing. They also have surprisingly good sound, for a wireless headphone. If I had a complaint, it would be that cymbals, high vocals, and otherwise intense treble sounds feel a bit tinny and forced. That being said, Beats has gotten a lot better with their sound quality. Don't believe the people saying they're just like the EarPods- their noise-isolating fit allows for far clearer mid-range sound. Although they're not perfect (wouldn't recommend them to intense audiophiles, finnicky center button on controls) for the first time in a long time Apple has made a product that "just works", day in, day out. Hope they last a while, because I never want to take them off.

    White noise

Comfortable and attractive but sound only mildly better than the free ones you get with your phone. There is a low white noise in the BG whenever sound is being broadcast. Very annoying.

A good product. Product won't fit in case.

A good product. Sound quality is very acceptable to watch a movie or listen to music and far superior to the PowerBeats 3 that I returned which sounded like two tin cans. Great range on Bluetooth. Default ear plug's are perfect for my ears. The wire laying on your neck is fine but I don't care for it with a collarless shirt. Battery life seems optimistic at rated 8 hrs as I've yet to achieve that. You have to play with two volume controls where my Beats Tour2 you only have one to adjust. The case is a joke as I haven't yet figured out how to get the whole BeatsX in it. That makes it hard to take with you! The Lightening to USB charge cable is a joke unless you plug it into your computer as it is too short to use with any USB wall or car charger. I wish there was an auto off feature after inactivity. It would be nice if you could tap the outside of one of the ear pieces to mute the sound or if they did like the Airpods and muted when you took one out of your ear. I'm happy with my purchase.

    Terrific - crushes competition

I originally purchased the Bose QC30's and was extremely disappointed with the microphone and moderately dissatisfied with the form factor. In comparison, the BeatsX microphone performs well separating background noise from voice. It's sound quality is even better with an encompassing bass and crisp treble. The max volume is notably better as well. The connectivity is quite amazing from pairing to performance. I can keep my phone in my bag, pocket, desk, etc. and I've yet to experience intermittent audio outages. The form factor seamlessly exists. Last, the noise isolation is nearly in line with the noise cancellation on the QC30 and even the QC20i.

A great option for folks who don't fit airpods

They're great! My ears don't really fit airpods/earpods well, and I usually like having replaceable tips for my earbuds, which the beatsX have!

I love the W1s, I've been using them for several hours, and as of yet I haven't had one of the classic problems I've had with bluetooth earbuds, static/range/disconnection. Flipping between my mac and phone works great!

But there's a design flaw (or at least a miss), I've had several pairs of earbuds that have a magnetic clasp. With *every* other one I've had, even ones from a compeditor that was 20 dollars, when you hook the two headphones together the earbuds would send a pause signal to the player and go into a low power mode.

With the beatsX when the earbuds hook together they don't send a pause to the player. I just took for granted that they would work that way, and hooked them together, walked to a meeting, only to realize that my music was still playing when I sat down :(

Not a deal breaker, but a little annoying, and I would have hoped that this was included, maybe the beatsX 2?

After 3 days of use - having Bluetooth connectivity issues

I was pretty excited about these headsets and I bought them on the day they came out. After 3 days of use, I have had numerous Bluetooth connection issues and considering returning them.

    - Connection drops randomly
    - Sound quality begins to deteriorate randomly (tiny, echo)

I have paired the earphones to my iPhone several times and that hasn't solved the issues. At first I thought it was the distance from my phone to the earphones, but it really is only 3 feet away at times, which shouldn't impact the connection. (For instance, it is on my desk and I am walking within my office.)

Wondering if anyone else is experiencing similar issues?

    Why not sweatproof at least???

I think the sound is great with these. Pairing is a snap. Fit (for me at least) is as good as I've ever had with a set of earbuds. The cord could be just a touch shorter though. I'm finding that to be a little bit awkward.
The battery has been good based off just the initial full charge. I've used them almost 3 hours and still at 61%.
I was really hoping these would be sweat-proof so I could work out in them and not have to worry about ruining them. I purchased some lighting connector plugs to at least seal that off... I don't plan on doing anything other than running in these or wearing them on my walk to and from work each day and so far, so good... Here's hoping they last a while.

    Worth the wait

I'd been waiting for this product since they were announced, I've never owned a pair of wireless headphones bc I prefer in-ear headphones and all the ones on the market before these came out didn't have the features I want. These are so convenient, the 5 minute fast-fuel charging is awesome. And I already have like 10 lightning cables spread around through out my house so I can charge whenever since they are lightning compatible, and that w1 chip is so convenient. My only complaint is putting them in the case, they aren't meant to bend all that much because of the flex-form cable but I don't feel like I need to put them in the case that much, I just keep them around my neck throughout the day.
