good wireless headphones but kills phone battery

    • Written by Kaleb W from Murrieta

Very good wireless earbuds only to find out it kills your phone battery so make sure to bring a battery bank or something for your phone because it will drain the battery quick mine went from 95% to 52% in an hour of listening so apple needs to fix it or I use wired ones permanently I have an iPhone x btw

    Must Buy

    • Written by Jack S from Naperville

I've had the Apple AirPods for almost 5 months now, and they are by far the best Apple product I have ever purchased. They have great sound quality with both music and phone calls. The receiving end of the call also sounds crisp. The AirPods are flawless when switching from bluetooth on my phone to syncing with my laptop.

Although they don't fit the best in my ear, I am never worried about them falling out while I am doing any day to day activities. I workout with these every time and have only had them fall out of my ear once. Other people I have talked to say they fit nice and snug, so might just be my ear.

These are a must buy and really make you feel free of cords, charging case is super convenient. I charge my case once every 2 weeks and have never ran into an issue with the battery

    BUY.

    very good but one exception...

    • Written by Fiorella P from Oxnard

I love these they are very useful. They are corldless which is amazing connects to bluetooth very quick and easy. Connects in the matter of 3 sec. Comes with a charging cable and It is very affordable. The only thing is I can't change the song through the airpods or control the volume. But you can do siri through the airpods if with apple devices.

    Are they worth it?

    • Written by Kylie B from Hopaotcong

I got my airpods as a gift. I was super excited to pop open the box and try them out. Being a dual student ( in high school and college) these things would come in handy for when I go out to study and do school work. They worked great up until I got my new phone. Once my XS Max came in they started cutting in and out and would stop playing and start back up again. I am super annoyed that I can't listen to my music all because they aren't up to date with my phone yet. They work really well with my watch and mac which is nice but not with my phone. overall I don't think they are worth the money if you have a newer phone, its sad to say as well because I really like them

    everything is great! honestly except...

    • Written by David C from Alpharetta

it was recently my birthday and so i bought myself some airpods because of the hype and although its been a year since they came out i decided to get them regardless, anyways shipping was great it came the day it was supposed to and to summarize my experience it was really great, straight out the box amazing apple packaging and great looking everything but one problem i have is that the lid feels kinda loose which gives it that cheap feel to it and im sure its not all airpods that do this mine does and u can easily move the lid around all im saying is this apple never lets me down its just that for $160 id expect some better quality in the manufacturing but with that said the sound quality is amazing also they feel snug in your ears and ive even shaken my head vigorously to try and get them to fall out but they wouldn't so thats awesome. all in all love this product its just the case that bothers me

    Pretty Good

    • Written by Sevan G from van nuys

The airpods are pretty acceptional wireless earphones. i love the 24 hour charge that the case holds to recharge them. and how they instantly pair with iPhones.

the couple of issues i have with them though is that they don't have any volume buttons built into them. you have to lower the volume through the phones volume buttons which is a hassle sometimes, or use siri witch isn't the best or fastest way to do so. please add a volume scroller wheel or touch bar like system for volume controls, like on the MacBook pro's, but on the airpiods 2. For example: swiping up or down on the left or right airpod while its in your ears to lower or raise the volume of music.

also, add a little tracking device that can fit into the airpots so when you lose them you don't have to be close to them in order to find them on find my iPhone app. you can find them from miles or states away like you can on iPhones when you lose an iPhone. i don't want to have to depend on bluetooth to find my airpods, and know there is a tracking device in the airpods. because i lost both airpods and the case a month ago and would like to know where they last were when last used anywhere in the united states.

please add the mentioned features on the airpods 2. make your customers lives more convenient and stress free. other wise id give this review 5 stars

    yeah I like em'

    • Written by Selah F

These are really innovative on Apple's part, even though they're not the first to come out with bluetooth earphones. However, I like these because they are similar and more compatible with my other iPhone and MacBook. One comment I will make is that these definitely do not have 24-hour battery life. I charge them overnight for that they're full for the morning. I use them in the a.m. and by ten p.m. they're dead. But I cannot complain because it's got a pretty long life. One time it kept transferring from my left ear to my right which was really annoying. Overall, I would definitely recommend them.

    Sound Great, But...

    • Written by Anthony D from Bluffton

I’ve owned my AirPods since shortly after they first launched. They sounded great then, and still sound great now...when they stay in my ears. I have to either stand still or sit to listen to music or they eventually fall out of my ears. That means I can’t use while exercising. It would be helpful to have different sizes as one size doesn’t fit all. For both fit and comfort, it would be awesome to have a soft-tipped version as my ears start hurting within 15-20 minutes from trying to jam what is an over-sized AirPod into my ear. Finally, I think it goes without saying that AirPods would look great in Space Gray or Black; hopefully Apple is reading this and takes into consideration. Overall, i enjoy my AirPods for short periods of time when not active. I’m hopeful that AirPods 2 or whatever they may be named will offer some sizing solutions for the type of fitting and comfort issues I and surely many others face.

    Better than Earpods.

    • Written by Richard B from Legazpi

The AirPods is good. I can even say it is worth the money. It has greater sound quality than earpods even some says they have the same sound quality. The bass is also hevier and chunky. Also, take note that the size of the airpods is larger then the earpods, but it still fits perfectly. The actual battery life reaches the ideal battery life. I only charge the case for about every 2 days i think, with the battery case having 5%. For the downsides. First, the mic sounds mushy, not clear that i’d rather prefer the earpods mic. The microphones accessibility is also limited. Like in iOS11 you can only use it for calls. But in iOS12, you can already use it for Voice Memos. You still cannot also use it’s mic for Music Memos and GarageBand which I wish they will fix on future software updates. I also wish I can use it’s mic just like how you can use earpod’s with my phone. But I absolutely LOVE my airpods! Especially if you think of things you can and can’t do with the earpods, like walking away without you’re phone while listening to music for a decent range/distance. The range may also be affected by a concrete wall or maybe some other electrical equipments along the way based from experince. Also, the airpods case get scratches easily, so if you want, put some airpods case on it so it will stay shiny. Mines without a silicone case so it has a lot of scratches already with just almost 3 weeks of usage. Try the AirPods! You might like it too!

    Worth the price?

    • Written by Robert S from Elizabethville

Received the AirPods 2 weeks ago. After reading many reviews both negative and positive it worked out to taking a risk and trying this product. I tried them in a Apple Store but the noise level in the store left me with a so-so feeling. Since I used the EarPods with the wires I figured the AirPods would be the answer to my needs. Indeed. They are. The fit is comfortable, and even better with the lack of wires hanging off the ear, the sound better and crisper. Bass response a little better, but it depends of outside noise levels since the AirPods are not isolating from the environment. Of course the quality of the music recording makes the difference in the sound on playback. Ease of use, and the well made charging case makes it a good choice for me. Freedom from the wires and seamless Apple magic make it a winner.

    Airpods and find iphone

    • Written by Monique M from Gentofte

I bought AirPods and I loved them so much! Used them every single day, every single minute! I’ve sadly list them and I don’t remember where, then I found out that your can track them on “Find Iphone” but only when they’re out of the charging box, which they are not so that’s ridiculous, I’m so sad that Apple has chosen to do it that way cause they were seriously my life and they are not cheap, so that’s the only bad thing about them, other then that, they’re amazing! Now I have to go back to wired headphones and it makes me so sad :(( Hope this will change someday!

    Great product, easy to lose

    • Written by Alicia P from Cedar Rapids

Pros: Good sound, convenient charging case, automatic pairing with iPhone. Cons: Very small, case slides on surfaces easily, so they’re easy to lose. Must keept track of them at all times, since they’re too expensive to just replace. Not very much talk time on phone or FaceTime before they need to be recharged. Would recommend, though.

    Pretty Amazing with some issues

    • Written by Camille D from Lockrose

Where to start... I've had these for 13 months now, excellent sound quality, excellent connectivity, NEVER fall out of my ears (not sure what other users are on about?). I do have some issues with battery life not being terribly great only a year down the track. Are we supposed to repurchase these often? seems wasteful. Also the find my airpod does very rarely work. i think i've only successfully located them with the app 3 times.. Definitely needs some improving with the app. Other than that my husband as a mechanic under cars and over bonnets never had issues with them falling out either. Great potential, but need some improvements.

    Great while they lasted

    • Written by Jesus O from Bakersfield

Pros: they had great bass, long battery life, and overall a great product

Cons: they are too pricey, easy to loose.

My AirPods were great but now they don’t work because of water damage, one the left airpod works. The charger case doesn’t turn on. They still connect, but they aren’t as great as they were. They have warranty but it’s 69 dollars to replace each AirPod, add another 69 dollars to replace the charger case. So in total it’s 207 not including tax. So might as well as save yourself the money and buy a new pair.

    Make air pods better

    • Written by Christon R from Birmingham

My air pods work great but I wish they had just three upgrades to make them even better. Sometimes it takes awhile to connect to my phone when I put them in my ear. Second, they could use a volume button on them so you don’t have to stop and reach for your phone to cut them up or down. Lastly, they should come in other colors, atleast black because they get dirty pretty quick.

    Great Investment

    • Written by Myasia S from Wood haven

Best set of headphones Ive ever owned. The sound, the functionality, the fact that they dont fall out of my ears (my original fear of purchasing them). But most of all they allow me to move about freely with the restriction of wires. The only reason I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars, they tend to disconnect at times but not too often. When it gets too consistent, I just reset them and they work fine. But overall great product! I live by my pods..

Pros and Cons + Find My iPhone tracking feature

    • Written by Jaana R from Los Angeles

Airpods are pretty amazing and I was surprised to see so many negative reviews prior to purchasing. Great sound, fit perfectly in my ears, convenient. On the other hand the tracking feature on "Find my iPhone" is basically useless. Apparently there is a way to hard reset the airpods prior to pairing which prevents you getting the location notification and you never find them. Mine were stolen straight out of my lunch bag. I would recommend getting a specialty case with a lanyard or keyring or something to prevent loss and theft. Regardless though will be purchasing again.

    Pros:
    Great sound
    Light weight/comfortable
    Convenient
Case has long battery life makes recharge quick, easy, and cordless
You can alternate earbuds and use one at a time
You can set up different double tap feature on each airpod to your preference
    Feel cool wearing them

    Cons:
    Easy to lose/steal
    Dirt gets inside case quickly
Bad connection in the gym if too crowded
Can't really track them down if stolen
Not the best design for a one handed person
    Volume adjustment via phone only
