    Magical

Love these little beauties. They are so simple yet so perfect. I used to absolutely hate the tangles and frustrations with wired headphones and now I'm free. I've been really surprised at how far you can go from your phone and still have the connection, I also love the fact you can have one in or both in. They connect so seamlessly and the quality is really good. I often answer a call on my phone and then reach into my pocket, take my airpods out whilst I'm talking, put one in my ear and the call transfers seamlessly to the airpods - LOVE IT!!. My only very minor thoughts for improvements would be this: they are a bit fidgety, I would imagine a lot of people drop these and risk them then disappearing down a drain hole. You do have to be a bit careful when you're getting them out as it's not that easy to grip the top and there is a risk they slip out of your fingers. Also connections to non-apple products, like my work laptop, is not that good based on limited tests, but Im not sure if that's something apple can fix.

Great when they work - frustrating a lot of the time

First, if you're just going to pair with an iPhone, I'm sure these are great. I switch back and forth between my iPhone 7+, Macbook Pro 15" Retina and iPad Pro. It's less than reliable when switching. It'll sit there spinning and sometimes the only way to get it to switch is to turn off the bluetooth on the device it's currently paired to.

Second, you only get two hours of talk time... I guess that's reasonable, but it wasn't obvious to me when I bought it and I spend a good chunk of the week on conference calls that last more than two hours (that's a different problem - but not one apple can fix). I swap between ears, but see (1) above and the lack of reliability means there's a good chance when I switch ears, the new pod doesn't come online. Very frustrating.

awesome headset - but no audio controls at all

Simply the headset is awesome, it connects almost effortlessly and is really easy to use.

the headset quality is as superb as usual from Apple.

the only thing that I complain about is the audio control.

there is no volume control. there is no forward or backward controls to the music it is meant for originally.

this makes things harder than usual to turn on the volume or skip a song. talking to Siri to do so is complicating things than simplifying them as apple usually does.

    Absolutely amazing and convenient.

I love this product, I thought I was not going to use that that much but they have completely replaced my traditional earphones. Range is amazing (able to penetrate multiple walls) The only issue I have had is that sometimes when they are connected to my Mac the audio will cut off however they are still connected to bluetooth (this has never happened on my iPhone 7). I wear them when I am walking on campus and I only have to charge the case about once every week.

Wow, these guys are life changing!

I just went for a run with my iPhone/Apple Music synced playlist to my Apple Watch - music streaming to these guys. So, the sun is shining, and it's as if the music literally is just floating perfectly into my ear - no wires, cords, things bouncing in my pockets - just a watch on my wrist and these guys in my ears. Floating - that's literally the best word to describe it.

It's like the way music should be - the closest thing you can get to giving your life a soundtrack.

    I think I've no regret.

I decided to buy the AirPod as a support to Jony Ive. The more I use it, the more I feel no regret. It's so cool.

Moving forward, I wish Apple can input more function via the touch sensor, example double tap to next song.

Thought they would disappoint. They haven't....

Won't write a long review. No need. Purchased on recommendation of friend. Was spetical. Had for one week now. Love them.
It's one of products where you have a love hate relationship. I love them. If you don't love them return them within the 14 day return period. I won't be returning mine. I found them easy to use, excellent sound, and surprisingly firm fitting in my ear when walking away exercising.

    What more can I say

I have been waiting for these for weeks, and now at last I have them. They are excellent. So convenient, they pair immediately, the audio is good, and no more cables to annoy. They do even more than I expected, and are so beautifully designed and fit so well into their little case. I thought they were expensive, but looking at what is in them, they are worth the money.

    Great Wireless concept

I like that there are no cords thats a very innovated way to create technology. But on the other side, you are unable to turn volume up and down unlike the Bose soundsports you have the volume up and down switch that is easily accessible. In order to turn the volume down or up you have to manual do that Via your phone or using Siri. So if your running or bike riding that could become annoying having to stop and do that. Plus who wants to talk while asking Siri turn my volume down or up if your around people kinda awkward. Plus i still have the feeling they will fall out of your ears. I really hope the next generation Apple AirPods have the option of touching the AirPods to let you turn the volume up or down and perhaps redesign them so they feel more as if they wont fall out of your ear. Not saying there bad EarPods just a customer voicing his feedback and what is one thing that moves a company forward and grow is by listening to the all the customer feedback.

The best BT headphones with the worst design

The best feature of these headphones is that you can use one, or you can use both, which makes them the perfect hybrid for almost anywhere! Wear one while at your desk and wear both when you are going for a walk. Syncing them is as easy as opening the box they came in, if you have both of them on the music will pause wen you remove one and will resume when you put it back on. The sound quality and call quality are far better than anything else currently available!
Now off the the bad: the design. They look like two awful shinny earrings. White is the only color available, (Why couldn't Apple also make them in black?) they will fall if your try running or working out with them on and they have no controllers.(No, Siri doesn't count because I can't be talking to her while at my desk at work) Also they should have include an optional cable to bridge them in.

    Awesome

Ordered the Airpods and couldn't wait to get them. When they did come, they were so easy to set up and use. I use them everyday at work and the charge lasts for so long. Highly recommend these to anyone wanting wireless headphones.

10/10 the availability of just being able to put them in your ears in less than seconds is amazing

    pleasantly amazed

Negatives - these seem ridiculously expensive on face value and no external controls other than Siri "functionality".
Pros - phenomenal sound, flawless pairing and connections, incredible freedom.

I had to wait 6 WEEKS for these things to arrive off backorder and I thought I was nuts for dropping $160 on them. BUT once you experience them, it becomes obvious that they're another example of Apple engineering. On the cusp of overpriced but oh so worth it for the design, engineering and just general excellence. The pairing process is magical for lack of a better word. Flipped open the case with my phone nearby, pressed the connect prompt for the one time initial process and they were paired instantly to my phone, watch, iPad and mac. The W1 chip does its thing remarkably well because they have zero static, exceptional range and jump into connected status almost instantly every time I use them. Do yourself a favor and get a caddy case to hold them on your keys or purse or bag because you'll want to always have them with you. Phone/Skype/Facetime conversations are clear and crisp with excellent microphone and noise cancellation performance from my end. And I am flat out amazed how good they sound with music. To the point of shaming (or at least equaling) much more expensive cans. I assume it must be outstanding EQ work by the electronics but whatever the secret sauce, it works great. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

    Excellent sound!

I wouldn't consider myself an "audiophile" but for my use, AirPods are great! They easily pair to my iPhone and iPad with no issues. I know they aren't the highest quality available but for wireless earbuds, these are amazing. Battery life is actually really good. The quick charge option with the AirPods case is really cool too. I've watched movies with these and listened to music and was just blown away. Obviously they are great for voice calls/video chats but even on the entertainment side they work really well. Pricey but such a great product!
