Sound great but do not stay in. Useless if not sitting still.

These are just horrible. I am so disappointed because the idea is very cool. I completely understand that not everyone has this problem, but that anyone who pays $150 would have this problem, and the fact that it is not an unusual problem, is unacceptable and very sub-par, in my view. These sound great. It is easy to talk and listen on the phone using the AirPods. However, they will not stay in my ears. If I so much as tilt my head, at least one of the pods falls out. The sensation of feeling them about to fall out is distracting and disconcerting on a business call. I have tried all of the internet tweaks (dots of rubberized tape in strategic places to add friction, etc.) and third-party products (rubber wings that are supposed to hold them against the inside of one's ear lobes, etc.). Nothing keeps the AirPods from slipping out of my ears. Why cannot Apple tweak the design or come up with some sort of ear loops the AirPods can be held in the ear by? Again, I realize not everyone has this problem and that the product is great for those who do not. Very cool for you. But for the rest of us, this is just pretty junk. I have no choice but to return them. I would give the product five stars for sound, but that five star rating is nullified by the lack of reliable functionality.

    Awesome wireless running headphones!!

I just got my AirPods yesterday and I love them I seriously don't want to talk them off! They are more comfortable than their wired cousin and the sound quality is pretty good (not bose obv.) ! I like how they do only connect to one thing at once even if you are sitting with your apple watch mac and phone and ipad there all at once and the bluetooth connection doesn't chop or change around. I ran with my AirPods this morning and it was BLISS! Heaven! no more wires no more adapters the pods just sit there and the double tap to change song is great! Really happy I bought these and the charging inside the case is like a bonus feature.

    AirPods Rock

Just got my AirPods today and I am ecstatic about them. They paired seamlessly with my iPhone and their sound is superior to the wired version. They feel more secure in my ears than than the wired pods. My only gripe is the volume control; you shouldn't have to rely on Siri to do that. I'm sure an update or future versions will improve upon this.

Sound is great concept is great size is not for everyone. Please make buds that are not “one size fits all” because they are not and they hurt.

Good sound, bad option with having to talk to siri

Double tapping for changing songs don’t work always and it is annoying, sound is great but having to talk to Siri for volume up or down is not good if you want to keep quiet in your room laying on bed and don’t have the phone with you to do it manually. Siri doesn’t understand me many times and also annoying don’t know if it’s because of the EarPods microphone. In general good but overpriced compared with others in the market with similar or even better functions.

Yeah, they sound great, but that doesn’t matter when they keep falling out of your ears! Don’t wear them in the car, it’s very likely that they will fall out and maybe even lose them, like I just did! That are also very small so they are very hard to handle in your hands (put them in the case, put them in and take them out of your ear). Don’t buy it, they’re not even stylish. Save $180 and just buy some beats.

    You Win Apple

I already loved my EarPods. But I worship my AirPods. I was first introduced to them when my friend bought a pair and showed them to me. I was blown away. The pairing process is as perfect as it is seamless. It’s stuff like this that make me love Apple products. The battery life is surprisingly really good, considering that they are truly wireless earphones. And the sound quality is pretty good. Sure they do cost £159 but compare that to other truly wireless earphones (ones without a cord connecting them). They’re usually £200 - £250. Overall really pleased with them. I Recommend them to everyone.

    A Great Option, Just Works

I have had the Bose BT headphones for a couple of years but thought I would try the Air Pods. While the bass is not so pronounced the simplicity of connection is use makes up for it. Pop them in and it just works. I use them running, in the gym and at work. They are a very useful bit of kit. The only thing that could be improved is the volume control.

I've always been a fan of Apple products, but the pair of Airpods I received were defective. Within a minute of my first outdoor run with these headphones, the sound became choppy and stopped playing altogether. I assumed this was due to the cold weather conditions (20 Fehrenheit) since they started working again when I went back indoors. Thirty minutes later, while wearing the Airpods at the gym, the right headphone started playing choppy music. Fifteen minutes later, both Airpods stopped playing altogether. These headphones charged for hours the day before and I've had other devices connect to my phone via bluetooth with no issues, so I'm confident the phone was not the culprit. Less than 24 hours after purchase, I returned these and got my money back. I considered exchanging for another set but I don't think the price reflects the quality. Hopefully, the next model is better.

Will not work with Voice Control, only works with Siri

I bought these last year, prior to OS11 and they worked seamlessly with high quality sound and all the other nice features mentioned by other reviewers.
However, once I upgraded to OS11 they stopped working with Voice Control. So, in order to be driving and use them as bluetooth for dialing a number by a voice command i.e: double tap... "call John Doe", you need to have Siri enabled. When you try this with Voice Control, Voice control turns on only 5 seconds later, you see it on the screen, no dialing happens and then Voice Control crashes.

I presented this problem to two Apple Store Geniuses and they tried this with store Airpods and store test iphones and confirmed it was not a defect of my iphone nor of my Airpods but a glitch of OS11. None of the newer updates of OS11 fixed this.
For those of us who refuse to use a Siri that carries over a voice command all the way to an apple server in order to dial a tel number, as if a 1000 dollar iphone X is totally incompetent to do this in a self sufficient way, this is and remains a disappointment. I now use by corded earphones.
If you dont mind this and you are OK with Siri, the only thing that I would otherwise miss on airpods is an easier way to control volume. You can only do this through your iphone, so that is a bit cumbersome for an accessory that is supposed to free you from reaching to your iphone.

Best in-ear headphones I have ever bought up to this date and the fact that they are wireless with no cords makes them that much better. There are no in-ear headphones out right now that can compare to these. I listen to A LOT of music and the audio quality that you get from these pods are incredible and hard to believe. I am now hearing sounds in songs I have never heard before when listening to it with other speakers/headphones. You honestly have to hear them for yourself to truly understand how crazy they truly are. The fact that you can program either pod to do what you want is also a great additional feature. EASY 5 STARS! LOVE THESE!

    It just works!

If you are an Apple product user and you are looking for a pair of wireless earbuds, these might just be the pair for you. After using them for 6 months I am more than pleased with them.

With a steep price of 159 dollars, these headphones should be anything, but an impulse buy. Many, including myself, would think it twice before purchasing a nearly two-hundred-dollar pair of earbuds. When compared to similar headphones the Apple Airpods are moderately priced. But I must admit that when it comes to audio equipment, you get what you pay for; these earbuds are no exception.

The AirPod design is identical to that of Apple's EarPods. Therefore, if you do not enjoy the feeling of the wired version, do not expect much of an improvement of their wireless cousin. On the other hand, if you do happen to like the fit of the wired version, then going wireless would only improve your experience. I find that not having wireless is a huge advantage when you find yourself moving around a lot; as you do not have to worry about cables getting caught on something or it pulling on your headphones while you exercise.

    Battery Life:
These headphones possess an outstanding battery life. They charge in the case which means that they are ready for the next use every time you pull them out. On a single charge, AirPods can give you up to five hours of listening time. If you happen to run out of power, you can just pop them back in their case for fifteen minutes, and that will give you an extra three hours of listening time. In combination with their carrying case, the AirPods can grant you a whopping 24 hours of listening time; which in my case translates to about a week of continuous use without charging.

If you are an avid Apple user, you will most likely be pleased with the seamlessness these AirPods present. Pairing them for the first time is as simple as opening your carrying case near your iPhone or iPad and clicking on the pop-up that shows up; no need to fumble around with the Bluetooth settings. However, Apple has not yet integrated NFC in their MacBooks so you will have to use your Bluetooth settings for this.
The apple AirPods are smart nonetheless, they know when they are in your ear and automatically pause the music when you take one out of your ear and resume when you put it back in. They are also able to connect to Siri by double tapping on them; this feature is extremely helpful for when your hands are tied up.

The Apple AirPods are a great addition to apple lovers around the world. Their durability and versatility can just not be met by other headphones. With excellent sound quality and a battery that will last all day; I believe AirPods are well worth the money.
