    Great Product but battery life?

I have had my AirPods since February and although they are a great product and easy to use, i only get 50 minutes battery life out of them rather than the 5 hours quoted. Whats my warranty options?

    Easy bluetooth sync
    Great battery life
    Great storage/charge case

    Average audio quality
    Poor Fit
Won't stay in while jogging... at all.
    Oddball looks

YMMV - It's a gamble buying these, because I'm sure if they fit you then you will be happy. But they are useless if they don't stay in your ears.

Didn't live up to my expectations

I have to say that the sound quality is great BUT I particularly have 2 issues with them. First, the shape it's very uncomfortable. I can't use them for more than 10 min without hurting my ears. I have very small ear holes and these are definitely not a fit for me. Second and more important, the battery dies pretty fast when you are not using them even inside the case.

So Amazing You Forget They're Even In Your Ears

Okay, so I bought my AirPods late September (2017) and I LOVE THEM. After the first day of using them, I was in love and I knew that I wouldn't be able to live without them. I am a high school student, so yes walking in the halls I did get a few students looking at me weirdly, but it is worth it. I also now have about 15-20 of my friends awaiting to buy a pair, they love them after trying mine. The immense subversiveness of the experience is so amazing it is hard to describe. After having them in for 15 minutes, you forget that they're in your ears at all. All you hear is music. No wires dangling, pulling on the units themselves. **THEY FIT BETTER THEN EARPODS DO** The sound quality is amazing, the pairing is instant, the active adaptive noise cancellation is great, the automatic play/pause is flawless, and the music isn't music anymore. it is a FLAWLESS MUSICAL EXPERIENCE. I love that you can't feel them in your ears, making the whole experience feel that much more premium. I will never go back to traditional wired earphones. I now call my AirPods my "AirFloats", and I call wired earphones "Peasant earphones" because they honestly feel/sound horrible compared to AirPods. I recommend AirPods to anyone who is an avid Apple fan, such as myself, and anyone who has ears that fit or mostly fit Apple Earpods, because these fit better.

    Unexpected Delight

Having had beats n using the lightning cable that comes boxed with the iPhone 7 I had no real need for a wireless pair of headphones.
If did pester me that an adapter was needed to listen to music whilst charging and at some stage I was knew I was going to have to make the plunge.

I was reluctant to spend €170 on these but the Mrs bought them for me on my employee discount for my bday and to be honest they have turned out to be one of my favourite presents in recent years. I’m notoriously difficult to buy presents for but these ended up being a dream.
I was reluctant at first to get get them due to the inability to skip tracks but once that software update was implemented I was game.
Setting the left as Pause/Start and the right as Skip Track has just been a techies wet dream.
The sound quality along with the battery duration makes them really stand out.
Honestly they’re worth the cost even though expensive and I don’t say that lightly.
You can only appreciate these when testing them out and being a pure nerd these are worth every penny.
Excellent gift for any music lover!!

Just amazing! Never going back to wires!

I’ve been anticipating about whether or not I should get the AirPods. I am so glad that I did! No more wires and plus Ithey are very aesthetically pleasing, especially the case! I am loving the overall experience. One downside is that you cannot change the volume unless you do it manually by phone or Siri. I think it would be nice to change volumes with three taps (higher volume: tap 3x on right; lower volume: tap 3x on left) or by sliding a finger vertically on one earphone or something! Otherwise, I’m super happy with my purchase!

    My second life partner ;)

From early morning GYM to work and rest of the day, these bad boys haven't let me down. I can't leave the house without them. I was skeptical that they might not stay on and fall down like the wired ones every 2 seconds (I might have awkward ears), but like I said I use them at the gym with constant move. Lightweight and awesome sound! You wouldn't know what was missing in your life until you own a pair of these.

As someone with an iPhone X, MacBook Pro & iPad Pro, I love the concept... that being said...
They worked great for me until I used them on multiple devices. Now it's hit or miss if they will even connect to my phone when I take them out of the case. Sometimes they will, but many times, I open the case, hold near the phone, and the battery level display that should appear on the phone doesn't. I've tried "unpairing" them, and redoing the process to no avail...

I've seen ads that say you can seamlessly switch from one device to another... in reality, you have to go to the next device, select Bluetooth settings, and click to connect the airpods.

They also regularly behave as if I've taken them out of my ears... disconnect from my phone while wearing them.
It just seems like Apple rushed to release a product that wasn't quite consumer ready yet.

Great sound, feel good, connectivity average at best

They do what $229 headphones should do, except they bluetooth connectivity is average. swapping between devices (car/iPad/Phone) sometimes takes minutes and a bit of hoop jumping. The case attracts every bit of grime it can around the hinges and it's almost impossible to clean thoroughly.

I do enjoy them, however I don't enjoy missing calls, or trying to have them connect in a hurry when on a call. I'm running iOS 11.1.2 on an iPhone 6

Nearly as good as it gets

Have tried & bought many Bluetooth headsets, do like my BOSE QC35's a lot but are too bulky for everyday use (great for the plane trips though). The air pods are brilliant, comfy to wear, really good sound across all ranges, no complaints really. Have had a few issues with synch as I use two iPhones (6 & 8+) & sometimes it gets confused as to which one to pair to, but that's not a big criticism. The charge life is brilliant, the case charge allows you to play all day nearly, with quick power top ups if needed.

    Truly amazing

I purchased these from apple themselves and felt very foolish after the fact because I just spent $173 on bluetooth headphones, but it was probably one the best apple product I have ever purchased. They paired quickly to my iPhone 7 Plus, customization was easy to set up and figure out. The tap controls were a lit hard to figure out but once you get the hang of it, it’s amazing. Definitely would recommend to anyone who has second thoughts.

    The dream

This is an incredible product. Something that seemed like an obvious progression to anyone who regularly uses headphones for years, but with all of the potential hangups (storage, charging, pairing) delightfully solved. I use these every day and they continue to be a delight. One of Apple's best new products.

I saved up for this and I don’t regret it!!

I’m 13 years old and when I heard about these, I knew they were
Something I wanted, only I didn’t have the money to get them. I worked hard to get allowance for months and today I finally got some at the Apple Store. I couldn’t wait to wear them and when I tried them on they were so comfortable and nice in my ears. It did feel a little weird without the long cord, but I quickly got used to it. Siri works great on them and it really helps that I can do all of my functions nicely even when my phone is charging ( I have a 7 plus so no headphone jack ). I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. Great buy! Great Present! And if you have any doubts then return it (but I doubt you will because they are so awesome).

    Decent wireless buds

I was looking for long-wear wireless ear buds and tried quite a few. Cheaper Coulax and more expensive Jaybird X3 in-ears were not comfortable after about 30 min. I had Motorola S9 from way back that also got uncomfortable after about an hour. The Apple wired headphones were always comfortable for me and had good sound quality, so I finally went in on the AirPods.

Sounds quality is good, and the comfort is also much better for me. The battery life is OK at around 3-4 hours with music and occasional WebEx session during the workday. I would put them around a 4 star rating with all of that, but some of the quirks I've seen with them drops it down to 3.

Often when I take them out and wait for them to connect to my work MBP, only the right will connect. I have to remove the left, put it back in the case to "reset" it. Sometimes they just decide to cutout or temporarily disconnect. And if I tilt my head the wrong way sometimes, they will think I've removed them and turn off. For these reasons I put them at slightly above average. I may still search for that "perfect for me" solution.

    Better than I expected

After using the standard EarPods I was a little worried about the fit. My ears would usually ache after less than an hour. It was most likely the constant downwards pressure of the cord. These are as comfortable as you could get, no aching even after several hours of listening. And secure too, at least in my ears. They didn’t feel like they moved at all even while running around after my dog in the backyard.

As for set up, it was flawless. They’re even automatically available on my Mac and AppleTV when I got home thanks to iCloud synching.

And they sound great, at least to my ears. I would definitely recommend them.

    Battery Life

I like the way they sound. I'm not having any issues with them falling out of my ears. My problem is that the battery doesn't last at all. I'm not getting much more than an hour of talk time out of them, using them with an iPhone 6. Anyone else having an issue with battery life?
