    Almost 5 Stars..

First, let me start by saying I have had headphones as cheap as $5 and as expensive as $300. I’ll also add that while I love Apple products, I am open to the idea that other products may exist that eclipse Apple’s industry leading standard of quality and excellence. I was no doubt on the fence about dropping the $170 for these headphones, but have used them for all of 20 minutes and have no buyers remorse whatsoever. I should have bought them when they first launched like I intended! Only downside to these headphones is the double tap feature for Siri/volume control etc., but it’s really not that big a deal. They are still hands down the best pair of headphones I have owned, and it’s teally not even close. They’re pretty fly I’m not going to lie! Because of the absence of a physical volume rocker, I’ll give them 4.8!

LOVE my AirPods - Read this if you're having trouble keeping them connected

First, let me say that these are my favorite purchase from Apple. I wear them literally 18 hours a day. I gave a pair to my boyfriend and he says they are the best gift I have ever given him. If there is any question whether or not you need them, get them. I promise - they are life changing.

A problem I ran into the first six months, however, was that they wouldn't always stay connected. It was incredibly frustrating, but I loved them so much, I continued to put up with it. Over time, though, I eliminated the potential issues, and narrowed it down the the problem: my Apple Watch. It seems my first generation watch was interfering somehow with the Bluetooth connection needed for the AirPods to maintain connection. Putting the watch into airplane mode resolves it completely. Now when I am wearing them, I don't need the alerts on my watch because I can hear it through the AirPods. If I am not wearing the AirPods, then I turn off Airplane Mode and use the watch as normal.

Obviously it would've been helpful if Apple would have identified or acknowledged this problem, and even better if they can find a way to fix it, but at least I a have found a way to make them work in the meantime. Hope this helps someone!

    Airpod, No-non

knew initially there might be an issue with the fit of the Airpods because the wired headphones just barely hung on my ears, but wanted to give them a try due to the battery life and Apple integration capabilities. I have literally purchased practically EVERY wireless headphones/earbuds and each have had there drawbacks, but Apply REALLY should consider making a customizable option for these. The Airpods are too light to not be able to keep them in your ears. A simple rubber cover would be great, but Apple seems to be dead-set on the one-size fits all option. On another note, it was refreshing to have a earbud that was directly connected to my iPhone. The battery life was great - could go nearly 8 hours with one pod on one charge. These, however are going back. It's too annoying to keep stopping to push these back in my ears every few minutes as I feel them slide. Beats are not an option, don't like the sound quality. Last had the Samsung Gear and loved the fit, but the battery life was horrible. Back to the drawing board.

    Magic

Sound is about the same as any earpod but the feeling of wireless is magical and freeing.

    Love Them

I had concerns that the sound quality would be the same as the standard apple in-ear headphones & that I should be looking at over ear headphones instead for good quality Bluetooth headphones. But I have found air pods a joy to use, the usual high quality apple product with superior sound, great stereo separation, & a satisfying bass response. Love the iPhone display of the air pod & charging case charge status when the case is open, very neat.
Now that I know Bluetooth can be used whilst phone is in airplane mode is a real bonus & was the decision maker for me. Very happy to recommend them.

    Absolutely Love

At first I was afraid they would pop out of my ears while working out or walking to work but they are designed perfectly! I also love that when Im using them and then sit in my car, my phone automatically connects to my cars bluetooth without being disrupted by them!

Excellent product BUT there is one problem

Excellent headphones overall. The chargeable case gives you the ability to use them all day long and the case fits easily into my pocket so I don't have to worry about losing them so much. The ONLY problem is that if I put my phone into my pocket while listening to music the connection starts to cut out and the music sounds distorted. So in order to listen to music without it being distorted I have to put the iPhone in my jacket pocket or just hold it in my hand

    Amazing!!

I love my AirPods! They work seamlessly across my Apple devices as well as other devices. The sound is just exceptional, and they fit comfortably in my ears for music, long sessions listening to lectures or enjoying a book in audibles. Thank you, Apple for always creating the next thing that enriches our lives.

    It simply works great!

After trying several different bluetooth headsets over the years, and having a collection of them on the bottom of my office drawer, this is just perfect and it works so well! I needed something to stand the long hours I spend on the phone, and this has a great microphone and it's very comfortable. I even used while driving on the highway with the windows open and the person on the other side of the call could hear me without any issues! The on and off connection with the iphone is very smooth, and the sound quality is great! Thank you apple! Your products are crazy expensive, but they just work!

    Just works

Best Bluetooth headset available. They just work. pair perfectly and Never feel like I'm running out of battery with the carrying case. Only single current drawback is no volume control on the ear pieces. But other than that they are amazing.

    Worth the Money

I have had two pairs of Jaybird wireless headphones and they do not even compare to Apple's AirPods. I ended up buying these AirPods for my girlfriend who was looking for wireless headphones and ended up needing to buy a pair for myself because they worked so well. We do Nike Training work outs together and it's perfect because I can wear one pod and she wear the other and we follow the work out together without ever losing connection. By far one of my favorite Apple purchases because of it's ease of use and never losing connectivity. Great for running, working out, listening to music with a friend or taking calls.

Best product Apple has designed in years

Usability is polished to perfection. I have been using AirPods every day since they were launched.

I own over a dozens bluetooth headphones. Usability of AirPods is drastically better from any other wireless headphones. This is a sum of all the hassle of slow or unreliable connection, charging or sub par mic quality just going away.

I also have Beats Solo 3 that share W1 chip, but would not imagine carrying them everywhere. On the other hand, AirPods have been with me (pocket, night table or ears) 99% of the past10 months.

These are so good thad if I would loose them, I would still purchase a new pair without hesitation even for 3x price.

    Really Excellent

I must admit, I was extremely skeptical about these when they first came out. I thought they were a bit of a step back for Apple it terms of real ingenuity. However, the moment I started using them I fell in love with them and quickly made them the only headphones I’ll use. Excellent quality, superb sound, fast charging, they are a great product of innovation. The only downsides I see are issues with the double tap feature efficiently working and no volume control like the EarPods have on the cord (I’m reduced to using my phone’s volume buttons like some uncultured swine lol). On whole, I absolutely love them!

    Another innovative Apple product

Have used these every night since purchasing. I originally purchased the Beats Solo headphones but returned them for these. Most versatile headphones ever owned. While the AirPods don’t have the noise reduction of the on ear Beats, they are more comfortable and have comparable sound quality. I can lay on a pillow with no discomfort. The chargeable case is the most useful feature. I can charge the AirPods three to four times before recharging the case. The ease of pairing, charge status display and the connection tone when placing them in your ear are other examples of how Apple got these right. The ability to change the function of the tap feature in iOS 11 makes them perfect.

Skeptical at first, but in love now...

Several of my coworkers had raved about these AirPods. From the moment I first saw them, I though they were gimicky and a terrible idea... But my coworkers got them one by one...

    I'll do the negatives first:
I wish it would somehow be able to really seamlessly switch between my MacBook and the Phone and watch. However, I understand that there is an huge amount of tech packed into these and they're first generation...

I also wish they came with a lightweight clip that i could run with, for example.

    Positives:
They are single-handedly the most comfortable pair of headphones I've ever worn. I wear them for 8-12 hours a day.

They get about the correct amount of advertised battery life and they take no time to charge to full. I will take them off, go back and grab them in like 10 mins and then I get another whole 5 hours of charge out of them.

Running with them really surprised me. They definitely do not feel like they're going anyway. I've been running for 15-20 mins each time and they've stayed solid. Watch and Air Pod performance is fantastic. I get great call quality and clarity.

I'm seriously buying these for my entire family. They're the single best bluetooth headphones I've ever owned. They're the most comfortable I've worn period.

Tl;DR Thought they looked stupid, would fall out, and be terrible. They are not any of those things.

    Garbage

I bought them and as excited as a school girl who got asked to prom - followed the instructions to pair and start using. No sound out of the right earphone. It's paired correctly as the siri double tap works and when I take the headphone out the music stops but no sound. I tried a hard reset per the different boards with no luck.

In short: Do not waste your money.
