    Poor Quality

    These headphones drop calls and skip/pause songs on Spotify. This is my third pair. Happens every time. WHY CAN'T I LEARN?!

    Not worth the money

    I got the original ones with my iPhone X and after couple of months one ear stopped working and the cable connection was also bad. I started using the adapter with my old earphones, but then after few weeks the adapter stopped working. This is defiantly not worth your money!
    Since Apple changed the connector for the earphones you are ought to use their earphones or their adapter, which are both expensive and low quality. DON'T BUY!

    Trash

    These headphones are trash I brought a second pair of headphones and I’m still having the same problems with the ones I had before. Only one ear working the sound keeps coming on the side headphones and the other plays good. For the price they shouldn’t even cost this much they cheap any way only work good for a couple of months

    Survived the washer & dryer

    I've had my headphones for a little over 2 years, recently my husband borrowed them for lawn care and they got forgotten about in a shirt pocket, they went the the hot wash cycle and the 56 min dryer cycle and SURVIVED!!!! Not only do they look brand new but work like they did before the mishap with the wash. I wouldn't recommend this for cleaning them, but I am completely astounded that they still work. I thought my favorite headphones were a done for. Giving a 5 star rating for performance and for high abuse resistance.

    Disappointed

    I came here to prepare to purchase my second pair of these headphones but now that I see a lot of people experienced the same thing as me when their earphones broke too soon I changed my mind. I bought my first pair of these headphones about a month ago and they’re completely broken. About my 5 days ago the right ear piece stopped working and today no sound was emitted at all. I would expect this from a $8 pair of earphones from Walmart not apple headphones. As a matter of fact I have a cheap pair of earphones that I use for my MacBook Air that are so worn the wires are showing, but has worked much longer than these headphones. Granted the sound quality is subpar but they work! I’m truly sad that these don’t work well because these headphones are the only ones that fit in my 7 plus.

    i bought this earpods with lighting connector, thinking that it was convenient instead of using an adapter...to my horrific experience it does not recognised all the time, i have to unplug and plug in umpteenth times for it to work. once i even do a reset to make it work. It is really of terrible qualtiy i urge other consumers to buy other brand of wireless ear buds. i felt very disappointed with Apple quality lately. before this my apple pencil does not work after 1 year of use. for such a BRAND - APPLE i reckon is really a let-down.

    They don't last.

    These are the seconds I buy, and I bought them less than a month ago.
    They are in good condition, but you can't hear them in one earpiece, and you can't hear anything in the other one.
    I do not recommend them in terms of quality-price, since they only work well right out of the box.

    Stopped Working After A SINGLE DAY

    These things frankly don’t deserve the single star I gave. These were $30 and after a single day of using them while walking to class and sitting in my dorm, they simply stopped working. Even my old pair that came with my phone that, after at least a few months, has one ear not functioning, have at least some sound coming from them. Other reviews have complained about comfort and having them fall out often, which are both valid complaints, since these are not earbuds to be used while doing anything more rigorous than walking. Possibly the only redeemable quality of these is that they have the connector necessary to be used with iPhones, which is only an issue because Apple wants to sell expensive adapters. Regardless, you are much better off buying one of those adapters and using a cheap, $5 set of earbuds. Those will undoubtedly have much better quality, and won’t break after just one day.

    Two pairs in 8 months

    Whatever method used to test strength, must have been done to someone who never moves. I've gone through two pairs within 8 months because they just lose connection via bending (aka walking with my iPhone in my pocket)

    Good - while they last!

    Don’t get me wrong, the sound quality of these earbuds are actually quite good for the price. However, their abysmal longevity means you will find yourself constantly re-purchasing them. My pair came with my iPhone 8, and they were fine for my daily walk to school, and wearing around the place. However (as I’ve experienced with other Apple earbuds in the past) the sound quality and volume gradually diminished. For a while, the volume was so low I had to have the volume cranked to full-blast to hear my music - much to the annoyance of those around me. Currently, both main speakers have cut out completely, forcing me to sit the earbuds in my ears sideways, because now the only sound comes out of the bass speaker.

    Ultimately, I wouldn’t waste your money buying a pair of these. There are plenty of other brands out there that don’t follow Apple’s ‘planned obsolescence’ ethos. Disappointed.

    Great headphone quality for the sound but it’s not long lasting. After 2-3 months in you’ll need a replacement. Either the mic stops working or one side of the headphone stops working.

    Gone through three pairs already

    These are so poorly made its not even funny. I just had my third pair stop working. The only reason I’ve kept getting more is that they came with my iPhone so they were covered by the warranty.

    But now I’m going to shell out money for a third-party set because I’ve had it.

    These earbuds are awful. Whatever sonic advances in quality Apple makes with their earbuds, they seem to be content with a fixed hard plastic shell that only fits a small percentage of actual human ears.
    These earbuds fall out so easily I have to wonder why they never went with a more rubbery design. Earbuds that can fit all ear types would make the most sense but for Apple, they don't care about comfort or usefulness. They only care about design.
    These earbuds are bad. Don't buy them.
