    Both physical and technical issues

    I have received this Beat Solo 3 when I purchased my 13 in Macbook this February as a back to school offer. I used this headphone couple of times and within that period, I have faced a technical issue which I cannot connect to my iPhone or Macbook. I have to reset the headphone signal EVERY SINGLE TIME in order to connect to my apple device. Also, the left side of the beat is very loose as if it is a second hand and weird crack sound when I open it. When I received the box, one of the corners were crushed as well. I am honestly disappointed with this product.

    Not my "Go to" headphones and only used them occasionally...now they will not recharge..terrible. Tried contacting their customer service and no response...very disappointed...

    Nice product, but...

    I bought a pair of Beats Solo 3 in December 2017. They stopped working after one year and 362 days on the left side only on the Bluetooth mode. Althought, they still work with the wire, but I’m still really disappointed, because I bought those headphones for the wireless mode and the look, obviously. So yeah, I really enjoyed the wireless experience for the time they worked, but now I have to plug them when I want to listen to music. By the way, I went to the Apple Store to fix them, but they told me that I had to pay about 250$ CAD to have new ones. I have to say that I’ve saved my money to get these (because I’m a student) and I payed 350$ CAD for less than two years...

    PROS: - Absolute flex, people will look at them. You will receive compliments and feel good about yourself. - Depending on the color you get, they can elevate your outfit. Similar effect with Airpods. - Decent sound quality and noise cancellation. Excellent Battery life (seriously). CONS: - Not a very strong build, I could see myself snapping them by accident. - Bass volume is slightly muted and gets mediocre after you raise the volume. - They do not work in cold temperature, I played basketball at an outdoor park and they shut off after a couple of minutes. The temperature was around 5 degrees Celsius (Vancouver, BC). Do not plan to wear these outdoors in the winter if you live in a moderate environment. Overall I would buy these again and do recommend them. A big part of this is because of brand recognition, if you simply care about sound quality I'm sure there are better alternatives. 4/5 stars!

    Third-rate product

    Got these headphones for free, as a “gift” for purchase of a MacBook Pro in September, 2017. Rarely used them, charged probably 2 or 3 times. When I took them after a long period of not using them, one side just stopped working. I reset them multiple times as it was said in the manual, however this didn’t resolve the issue. As I have already mentioned, I’ve almost never used them and the headphones were basically lying on a shelf most of the time, so there were no accidents of dropping them or possible liquid damage. Deeply disappointed.

    Good but doesnt last long

    The headphones are amazing, but after one year of use, the Bluetooth stops working and the cups wear out. A product with such a short lifespan is not worth, no matter how well it works when it was fresh of the shelf. I ain't buying Beats anymore

    Never in my life will I buy another pair of these plastic headphones ever again. I bought one pair they broke months later. I got another pair for Christmas, ITS BEEN 3 MONTHS SINCE MY NEW PAIR AND THEY BROKE AGAIN THE SAME PLACE. The right ear. Literally folded them over after done using them and they broke. Stop hyping this lame brand of headphones up they trash asf in bass also.

    Lovely headphones.. But!

    Great headphones, the sound quality and product itself is amazing. However when connected via Bluetooth to my android, they are unbelievably quiet. Disappointingly quiet. With the wire they are on another level and i will be using them like this most of the time. Dont regret purchase as i got a good deal. But the Bluetooth aspect was a big selling point that turned out rubbish. My android phone isnt cheap by the way. Also teasted on a Samsung s8 and the same thing occurred

    The worst product

    The Beats aren't durable for the price although the sound is great. I didn't used them when I first purchased them, but when I started using them they broke immediately. When I tried to have them fixed( after the warranty period) they said it would be too expense to fix them. I will never buy them again.

    dont buy if you live somewhere with cold temps

    I got my original pair of beats in october. they worked fine for a while. once the cold temps began, the beats immediately disconnect after just a few moments. they work fine indoors. however in 30-40degree weather, i walk about 5 mins (if that) and they immediately disconnect, despite a full charge. i contacted apple, they replaced with a new pair. the issue still persists. i contacted apple again, and all they can do is continue to replace under the warranty-. seems counterproductive to own headphones that work under certain conditions. these headphones are only made for indoors or warm temps, as forums note lots of issues in the cold. unfortunate because they are very comfortable and a great brand but do not recommend for this reason, hate to wait for it to warm up until i can use them

    Terrible battery performance

    I brought my Beats and have been disappointed since my purchase. The sounds is great for what I use them for, but sadly the battery life is terrible. I have even had them sent off to Apple to look into/ repair, however, I’m assured there is nothing wrong. The battery drains even when the headphones are off. This is very frustrating when heading to the gym! Love the look and sound of them. Too costly for what they deliver. I wouldn’t recommend buying them and shopping around for better quality headphones.

    Broken right ear

    Same issue as with a lot of people. After just 6 months of moderate use the right ear stopped working. Iv looked this up and its due to a broken wire. This is not something you expect from a 'premium' product. The fact it is a known issue and Apple refuse to remedy them is bad too.

    Sound is ok until one ear stops working. This is a known issue and they have different tricks or tips to try and resolve it. Unfortunately none of these work anymore and my right ear does not work at all. They do not cover it even though it is a defect in their product. Shame you spend so much money for a company that doesn't fix their KNOWN issues. Wish I would have seen these same reviews before purchase.

    Nice and clean

    I love the beats solo 3 wireless. The look is clean and simple and then the sound is flawless, I have not heard/had a better pair of headphones besides the beats studio 3 wireless. I highly recommend buying these headphones if you have the money 10/10.

    I have been using beats for a long time and this last product I brought had me left with a bad review and will probably not buy any beats product again. The last beats solo3 I brought suddenly stop charging even tho I used them not very often and When I do, I use it with full care. I read all the blogs with no success. and Now I am literally fed up.

    I’ve had these pair of headphones for a little over a year. I did enjoy them a bit but I would NEVER buy again. Something that you pay $300 shouldn’t stop working in a year. My right ear on my headphone won’t work and I have no idea how to fix it. Also the sound in my opinion could be way louder. There’s been so many times I wanted to blast my music and these just didn’t do that for me. Lastly the case is trash. Might as well wrap it in a plastic bag cause that’s what it equals out to protection wise. Like i said I will NEVER BUY BEATS AGAIN. A year and there already broken? Horrible company and prices for the quality you actually get.

    what a waste

    Just over a year of having my headphones and only using them a dozen times the right side stoped work and now they want me to spend $180.00 to get them fixed. I just spent $300 for them, not worth it!!!!! They don't even stand behind their product very disappointed with Apple!!!

    Mixed Feelings

    I have gotten my Beats in mid spring of 2018. They have great sound, cancel out noise, and are very comfortable to wear. However, the problem I have isn't with how the product works, its with how its made. After only having my head phones for less than a year, the leather cloth had started to peel away from the right side of the headset. I'm lucky that this issue has not yet occurred with the left side, but this doesn't discredit the issue at hand. Not only that, but the foam had started to tear away after a few weeks of trying to keep the cloth tucked into the headphone set. As much as I love these Beats, I honestly can't recommend anyone this headphone brand until this issue is fixed, for I wouldn't want someone to have to deal with this problem.
