Completely uncomfortable, and they never stay in my ears, average sound quality and overpriced for what they are- avoid.

    1 year life span

I like how they feel, they are indeed comfortable, the sound quality is decent and the mic ok. BUT. This will be my 4th pair in 4 years.... Seriously faulty wiring at the connection end. I suspect this is done on purpose to force customers to buy them more often. The nice thing is that they fall apart right after the warranty runs out time after time... Its always in the same place as well. These are NOT made for listening to music/calling with your phone in your pocket all day, this type of use will ruin the headset.

What happens is that any force (sometimes no force, I swear it just goes crazy) applied to the wire makes the entire phone to go haywire. I can be sat completely still and suddenly the phone will start calling my contacts or hangs up when I don't want to. It will constantly change songs, edit volume etc... I expected more.

    Great cheap earbuds!

If you're looking for earbuds with a TON of punchy bass, these are not for you. If you want ultra-clear earbuds, once again, look somewhere else. However, if you are looking for earbuds that work at least *ok* with all types of music, these are a great option. They come with your iPhone, and the sound quality is, in my opinion, great. It's not outstanding, but it doesn't have to be. They fit in my ears well, and they sound good.

    Good for their money

They are overall good headphones. I use them all the time as I am a high-schooler and listen to music a lot. I have had them since I bought my iPhone 5s and they are just now starting to break (sometimes they cut out). They are extremely comfortable in my ears and personally have amazing sound quality. They are also pretty durable. One thing that gets annoying but is avoidable is they get tangled a lot. Overall they are good for their money and I would recommend them if you are looking for an affordable pair of headphones.

    Love these!

Great for just about anything you can think of! I use mine all the time and wouldnt trade them for anything! Price is a little up there, but it’s pretty good considering the amazing quality of them.

    Hot Garbage

For the low, low price of only $29 fricken dollars, you can enjoy this absolutely trash-quality sound. The most important feature I want to bring up is sub. There's none. :) The sound is rather quiet, so you'll need to turn up the volume to at least 50%, compared to the 30% I use on my headphones. Seriously, just don't buy these, buy some pro audio like Seinheiser or ATX etc. They just came with my iPhone and they're not worth squat.

    freaking awesome

im a samsung user and i absolutely hate using their earphones because i really love apple earphones. theyre so comfortable and durable and just great in general????? i always find myself stealing my father's eaphones since he's a sucker for iphones so he has quite a few pairs to spare. im amazed at the durability of these earphones honestly; ive dropped my phone while they were plugged in so many times, and even pulled my phone up from the ground using the cable, and this pair that im using has never showed any signs of near-death. also, i recently put them into a washing machine, and i was super super worried because i thought they would spoil, but they came out completely fine! kudos to apple for these bomb earphones unfortunately, my earphones are starting to show signs of my utter mistreatment, so i guess i have to either steal a pair from my dad again, or buy one myself :)))

Cable is too thin and fragile

Just recently got the iPhone 8 plus. Very happy with the phone. However the outer layer of the headphones has broken already- revealing all the cables inside. In my opinion the cable is too fragile and thin!

    My baby

My EarPods have been with me for 3 years and it is still rocking. Using it on a daily basis while commuting. Surviving in and out of the washing machine for several times and it stills works!!

so it happened, I forgot EarPods in shock, and washed them, when I pulled out my earpods saw things, was upset, but when I checked them, they worked, without any dibo problems, I adore Apple

    Best Headphones ever

THESE HEADPHONES ARE AMAZING! Fit perfectly into my ear and are very durable. I accidentally put mine in a washing machine and took them out, waited like 10 mins and they still work, it’s like I just bought them again! They are so comfy and the sound is great, never had any issues with them yet. These are by far my favourite headphones and whoever invented these should get a pay raise.

The packaging is great and it keeps my headphones clean so they don’t get dusty all the time. By far the best headphones I. Have ever bought!

    Not worth the premium

These are extremely comfortable, but not good enough sound quality for the price. If Apple chopped the price in half, I would buy several, as I trust Apple's quality control far more than any other headphone company and am willing to pay a premium (and it would still be premium priced at half price).

    Apple Ear Plugs

I really love my apple ear plugs; they are amazing. The music is very crisp and clear. They are just as good as beats and cheaper too!

    Good but not very durable

The sound of these is very good compared to other earpieces I've owned, and I really like the remote control. I haven't found the same functionality/quality for this price.

The only downside is they're not very durable. I use them on a daily basis, and they last a little over a year (I'm on my 4th pair now). Often one side just stops working, or the wire breaks and volume cuts out if you bend it.

    best non in-ear earbuds...

They don't sound good. Perhaps not many people realize that but any decent pair of headphones will sound better than this. But I like them because I don't need to stick them inside my ear.

I always buy these earphones, the last time I bought some was about 2 or 3 years ago. The mic works great and they fit perfectly into my ears. The only reason I'm buying another pair is because my chihuahua decided to chew on them and now the left one doesn't work. But these never fail to impress me, I love them! Best earphones by far!

    They just don't last long

I keep buying them because they have good sound and they stay in my ears; but... invariably, either the controller and/or the input plug wears out within 3 months. Granted, I do listen to my books on my iPod most the day and I'm pausing and adjusting the volume on the controller a lot. I don't, however, pull the input plug out very often and that becomes dysfunctional regardless. I do test the earbuds with my iphone when they start getting wonky on my ipod and get the same poor results. All I can say, they are not made to last.

As a high school student I use these headphone almost everyday. However I just got given a rarely used new pair from a friend and as soon as I left them in my locker for one hour they melted and the ear piece slit into two pieces. I love hear headphones and I am really disappointed with how they broke.

    Survived washer and dryer

I have 2 pairs of EarPods. One pair has been working well for a couple of years now. The other, newer pair recently went through a washing machine and dryer in my coat pocket. I was very sad when I discovered that they had been washed, but I let them dry out for a couple days and they still work. I haven't had any problems with EarPods.

    Great until useless

They work as a charm for a few months, and then one of the earphones just stops working (with me was the left side).
Thought I was just unlucky so I was ready to buy new ones, until I read the reviews and found out this is quite a common issue.

Not really interested in throwing away $30 so will not be buying another one for a long time. I can definitely find better built headphones for the same price on Amazon.
