    Sound fine, feel terrible

I'm one of the people for whom EarPods are virtually useless. I've tried every orientation I can think of but they won't stay in, which is just as well as the hard shells feel very uncomfortable when they are in. I can't stand using them. Since they come with the device anyway, they are worth a try. Hopefully they will work for you.

These earbuds can withstand anything. I ran them over with my car and the freaking things still worked. They’ve also gone through the washer and still worked. Apple for the win.

    I like them.

I find the sound pretty good and I really like the remote. I have been using these for years and while they don't last forever, no headphones do. I would re-purchase.

Ignore the "These break easily" reviews

I've used these for 8-9 hours a day and have since October of 2014 and even today on March 4th, 2018... There has not even been a drop in sound quality and they're still working fantastically as promised by Apple

    Thumbs Up

These earbuds are fantastic. It's a shame that some people have such a hard time with these, I have had mine for about 3 years. My earbuds have gone through the washer and dryer MANY times, they catch on door knobs all the time, and when not in my ear they are definitely tangled in my pocket. Many reviewers are complaining about these things, but I certainly haven't had a problem. The right bud doesn't work but that is understandable, when earbuds age, they break, mostly my fault. And the left bud still works great! No rattling or buzzing to be heard. I have also slept with these and contrary to one review I read, my ears were NOT damaged. If these do rupture your eardrums it is due to user error. So turn the volume down a notch, it's alright if a little bit of outside noise comes in. And as far a fit goes, they slide into my ear and stay there, they don't fall out. I also recommend sticking to Apple, knock-offs can be a hit or miss, usually miss. $30 for great quality earbuds that have lasted 3 years, totally worth it

    Great earphones

I've never had a problem with these EarPods, they almost last for about a year! Every year I upgrade my phone, so I have 3 extra pairs, and the ones I have I've been using since the iPhone 6S! They do not break easily like the people who gave them 1 star. I feel like they cannot take care of their items if they break in a month! They are a tad bit uncomfortable, but after hours of use so that's understandable.

    Such a bad product

I usually use the adaptor with another brand, but after not even a year the adaptor died.. so back to apple earbuds in the meantime. The sound is bad, they don’t stay in my ears, I can’t turn my head without one falling

Good thing they came with the phone otherwise I would have been very upset to pay 35$ plus tax for these!

    Great value

I keep breaking these headphones(I'm on my 5th pair), but they work great while not broken. so they're not very durable, but sound great!
the headphone jack bends if not treated properly.

    Free, but Why bother?

It's a good thing Apple invested in Beats because their original earbuds (along with each iteration accompanying each successive release) are dreadful.
I'll start with the positive: sound quality is pretty clear. However, they are incapable of minimizing external sounds, so avoid using in public places.
Next, comfort: total miss. The plastic and rubber materials used combine to an ill-fitting round rock that leave my ears sore after each short use, ending with me questioning myself why I continue to re-use them. When will I learn?!
Lastly, durability: laughable. These things fell apart from sitting in the plastic casing at my desk. The apple earpods serve as a backup for when when my wireless buds need charging, and fail at that. They are busting at the seams/connections, and there's an annoying rattle in one of the pods. I really don't understand how they could be in such poor shape with such minimal use..
My only justification for owning them is that they came free with the purchase of the iPhone (I'm sure the cost of the phone had this "giveaway" baked in, but allow me this rationale for my sanity). Had I paid retail at $29, I'd be enraged for not buying the far superior Samsung buds for only $6.

    Most durable earbuds EVER!

I have been using Apple Earbuds ever since middle school, and now I am a sophomore in uni. I have been using my current pair since the beginning of my freshman year and here I am still using the same ones well into the second semester of my sophomore year. I don't get why people are complaining about these, maybe it's time you reassess how you take care of these? I don't jam these into my pockets and abuse them like most people who've given them a one-star have done (they're just not admitting that). I don't mind having to untangle them a couple times a week. The rubber below the headphone plug has been wearing off since 6 months ago but they work absolutely fine. I take care of these pretty darn well. I dropped one side of the earbud into a cup of tea but it works fine, it just sounds a bit muffled. I'm planning on ordering another one just in case someone decides to steal mine or if anything bad happens to these. I use these for music production as well, bass response is precisely what I need, not too heavy and not too light. Mids and highs are perfect.

And on a side note, do not purchase these from another source other than Apple! Sprint has scammed me by providing me with what I consider to be FAKE replicas of these when I purchased my iPhone 6S Plus from there. There is a reason why Apple does not sell these on Amazon anymore, so keep that in mind and buy directly from them!

    the only earphones i’ll use

i’ve been using these for almost 2 years now? since i bought my 6s but anyway, i just recently lost my second pair but i will most definitely repurchase these again. my second pair survived when my mum was driving and it was stuck between the door and ended up scraping the road and to my surprise, they still worked perfectly. i thought they were done for bcos the jack was literally RUINED.

these are the only earphones/pods that i’ve come to love ive tried so many and nothing can top this. 10/10 recommend.

Not all they say they are

The headphones I have have hands down the best audio quality. They fit your ears well too. But! Nevertheless, when I purchased a pair the audio controls unexpectedly ruined in about a month. I took great care of them, keeping them away from water and protecting the cord from bending badly. Aggravated I put up with it. A week before Christmas I got a new phone. The new headphones that came with them have already ruined and I’ve taken great care of them once again. It’s only been a month, AGAIN. I’m extremely disappointed. The controls are cheaply made.

    Worst thing I've ever bought

I hate these headphones. I hate them SO MUCH IT HURTS.
    Literally, they hurt.
They don't fit well, they hurt, the sound isn't wonderful. I'm sitting next to people with them in BLASTING music (because I have to) and I can still hear everyone else's conversations.
I have a headache from having the music turned up so high, but if I turn it down I can't hear the music at all because of the noise around me (which is normal conversation)

Good bass and comfortable to ear

Don't go for other online stores offering "Genuine" Apple Earpods.
Buy original from Apple and save yourself money and live peacefully.

    Busted Ear Drum??

These are the most uncomfortable things ever. I’ve forced these things in my ear bc hey this is how it is, Apple created these rock hard ROUND things assuming everyone will love them. Well I woke up one morning with blood on my pillow from a busted ear drum. I shouldn’t have used them. Can’t find the old ones anymore either. It’s just like the lightening cables, we go through those by the gross. Everyone knows they only last a little while. What’s wrong with Apple these days??

    Only lasts a month

Been going through a pair of these a month. Just kept not playing music on one side and kept skipping and pausing with every headphone... Still looked brand new though. Never buying another pair, buyer be warned.
