    Disappointed

Purchased for bike riding and running. Great product for first 3 weeks, then stopped turning on. Wouldn't charge above ~50% but even with charge, the headphones were lifeless. Frustrated / disappointed

    Great repair servie

After the charging port on my powerbeats wireless stop working, I contacted Apple to see if I could use the warranty. People were super happy to help me and get my Beats returned to me asap. Very happy and impressed.

    Random Cut Off

I own the Powerbeats 3 and Beats X. My Beats X have already been replaced once for randomly cutting out. The Powerbeats 3 (which I bought to sweat and work out in) began cutting out on me during my workouts after 2 months of owning them. I sent them in to be repaired and was notified that they was nothing wrong with them. Since then, I have used them 3 additional times and they have cut out on me after about one hour of working out. When they cut out, I cannot reboot them or reset them. I have to carry my white cord Apple headphones for back up. I also have been wiping them off during my workouts hoping that this would prevent them from cutting out, but no luck with that. The reason I bought the Powerbeats 3 was so I can sweat in them but they do not appear to be sweat resistant or they are just a bad product. Too expensive to take the risk again. I won't be buying any other Beats products in the near future.

    Keep Your Receipt!

Well they're definitely the best available, which is why I'm on my second pair. My 1st pair of powerbeats2's only lasted 1 year as my workout headphones, before I began having connection issues, & they ultimately died on me in mid-run. With no receipt I would be charged to have them repaired, so I'm onto powerbeats3, where I'm already having similar issues. They won't power off unless I plug them back into my laptop, exactly how my last pair began to conk out. Are they sure these things are sweat resistant? Saved my receipt this time though.

    Overpriced, glorified, piece of cr@p

I have had two pairs of the bluetooth earphones and they both have failed me after less than 3 months. I loved the bluetooth factor and the good sound quality for the short time I had with them, but then they died. Refused to charge correctly, would not connect with my phone (like it had before), and left me without music at the gym. This product is unreliable and I will never be purchasing beats products again. Everyone would be better off buying $30 bluetooth headphones from Best Buy.

    Moderate

OPINION: I do not think I would buy another pear of Beats again. Very unsatisfying product. The product is not worth your money. SAVE YOUR money. HISTORY: I bought a Power Beat 2 which I got it fixed 4 to 5 time I am unsure how many times I got it fixed, too many broken events with that product. It lead to a new Power Beat 3, but I still find the product unsatisfying because I found the issues were very similar to the 2 that I had before. POWERBEAT 3: I have a three now and it is a little better which I will give it a 2 star. CUSTOMER SERIVCE: Customer Service is great (4.5 Star) BATTERY: The life of the power beat 3 is okay. I don't know how long it is supposed to last, but I do not find it amazingly long lasting at all. Used it two days in a row for like 4 hours then third day it died completely, until charged.

Good at first but won't last.

These headphones work so well...when they are working. Eventually, as I have learned the battery will fail you and no matter how many times you reset it or try to upgrade your software, it will never work again. If you want to get them fixed it will cost you at least 75 dollars for a "service fee". Though I was pleased at first and I understand over time the battery may go bad but there is still no excuse for not standing behind your product. I can't believe these can work so well for months then all of the sudden with no damage occurring to them the battery just goes out and the company tells me essentially that is just part of it. I will not purchase anymore beats headphones in the future.

    Unreliable...

Bought these 8 months ago...first pair stopped working, sent them back and got replaced with a new pair. The new pair I have now had for about 1.5 months and now it won't charge...will have to send this second pair back. Very unreliable...I now carry an old pair of Skull Candy wired in my gym bag for when the Beats inevitably fail. Beats is no longer a viable product.

    Disappointed

The sound quality is poor. The battery life is abysmal. If I don't use them for more than a day, the batteries drain to zero. Likewise, I have to charge after every use. They've been like that since I frist got them. But, the worst part for me, because I bought them for use at the gym, is that the shape of the earphones make a good fit difficult. This is independent of the earbuds. They have a large bulbous part that prevents them from going very deep into the ear canal which prevents using effective noise isolating earbuds.

    Nice design, but subpar quality

These headphones worked really well for the first several months but now are starting to fall apart. For one I like the design and color of the headphones. These headphones fit nicely around my ears and the pieces can adjustable if need be. The sound quality was great to begin with but now there is a high pitched sound that I hear every time I use the head phones. Sometimes it has trouble connecting to different devices. Also, the ear pieces are starting to shed and the bud parts fall off frequently. Overall I was disappointed in the product, especially because of the price.

    Do not buy them

Terrible!!!! It has not been 3 months and already I am on my third pair. I would not recommend these at all. The battery life does does not last even 40mins, does not charge properly, and the volume button does not work. Stay away from this brand!!!!!

    Not what I expected

Im the type to put in headphones so I can't hear anything from the real world, these buds don't go loud enough, I have a galaxy s6 edge plus and they suck, nice bass and crisp sound but skull candy buds go way louder and still sound better than these powerbeats3, waste of $150.

    Complete Waste of Money

These headphones are a complete waste of money. They break constantly (especially the control button) despite being marketed towards athletes as durable. I have replaced mine 3 TIMES and I've only owned them for 2 years (the control button on my 4TH PAIR just broke...) And then Apple wants to charge $99 to fix them! They are so cheaply made and a total rip off. Don't waste your money, get a different brand. Unbelievable...and disappointing coming from Apple.

    worst thing ever

Got them as a present, for last christmas. From then i exchanged 3 pairs due to malfunction/ wont charge, wont start, and my local provider wont give me a full refund or another product of that value. They send them to service provider and they keep changing them for another earphones, without any explenation of what was out of order or what was the blame for malfunction. I use them in gym only, they are always in pouch when not using, i even checked my electrical wall units for power bursts or anything that can do some damage and nothing was off. exchanged charger cables, nothing..... With that price and this kind of problems i wouldnt recommend them for anyone....

Headphones shut down while running - defective

These headphones were great until I used them to work out. The last three times I went running with them, although full charged, they shut down halfway through my run. It has something to do with the sweat or the heat. Very frustrating. Since they are advertised as being for working out, they should not be this delicate. Now I had to make an appt at the Apple Genius Bar to try and get them repaired or replaced. What a hassle. $200 headphones that don't work right. Not worth it.

    Defect...after defect...after defect

Loss for words on these headphones - I had sent my headphones in 3 times because the battery wouldn't charge or it wouldn't hold a charge, always something with the battery never the connection. It came time after about 2-3 weeks to send in another defect set because of charging issues, Apple did take mercy on my being my 4th time and they sent me a new pair out of the box.. And here we are about 3-4 weeks later and they only hold a charge long enough for a 2 hour workout.. they go dead after about 2.5. - 3hrs of playing. I have to re-charge every use.. I am sadly going to have to find another brand to use. One note - I loved the beats2 wireless sports headphones - great design and no issues after the 2nd time sending them in:) lol they still had their share about the 3rd set worked like a charm. They were battle proof.

    Unreliable & poor quality

I have had 2 pairs fail completely within 6 months. I used them for perhaps a total of 6/7 hours per week, solely for working out. The price point would infer top-of-the-line, state-of-the-art technology and durability. Unfortunately, they are neither. I will be returning yet again to my local Apple store and requesting a full refund. There is very simply no excuse for a product that fails so regularly, regardless of cost. The price point on this faulty product makes this situation that much more egregious.

    I FUCKN HATE THESE

So i bought these Powerbeats in April and it is currently The beginning of August and they're totally failing me!!!! I already sent them in recently (just got them back 2 days ago) because they weren't charging. I checked the powersource connected many different types of chargers and it still wasn't charging. When I got it back from being repaired it worked fine. Then I charged it again and I want to use them to workout but they're not turning on. I would hate to have to keep sending this product back. Maybe there's some faulty wires or maybe it's me. But I've had my Apple earphones for way longer and I've never had problems with them. So why is this happening with this beats. Idk what to do honestly and this feeling sucks. $150 down the drain! Go and buy some other quality workout headphones that would have a longer lifetime than this piece of poo

    Great Fit/Sound, AWFUL DURABILITY

I spent $150 on this product thinking that I would get wireless headphones that have great sound, fit well, and last long. I was right about the first two, but they are SO FRAGILE! Within the first week, the volume/pause button was all messed up and each time I paused, the button became confused with other functions. I sent it in for a repair, and Apple provided me with a brand new set and that was at the end of February. Four months later, this new set won't even turn on! This time, I sent it into Amazon for a repair, and I have yet to receive my headphones back! I blame Amazon for the shipping delay, but I really blame Beats for creating such a poorly constructed and non-durable product. Definitely not worth $150 price tag!!! Imagine having to send back such an expensive product TWICE in the span of 4-5 months! I would like a full refund!
