Awesome headphones but wtf is up with the case?

Headphones sound great, powerful bass, comfortable, and I love the different size options for the ear buds. But, WTF is up with the cheap silicone carrying case they included??? For $200 you would think they can include a zippered case like they previously have. The silicone case is cheap and not very protective and can allow the headphones to easily fall out. Seriously, what were you thinking?? That's honestly my only disappointment.

    Expensive mistake

Initially I was very excited to get my earphones, especially since these wrap around your ears, are light and don't fall out easily. They started falling apart pretty quickly much to my chagrin Expensive to purchase and cheaply made ....big mistake!

    Case and cord

In the past they have given out these nice carrying cases like zippered and drop proof now what the is this silicon bs they could easily fall out and it's not drop proof or anything compared to the other and they are $200 headphones like they couldn't make a nice case again and the charging cable is 3-4 inches long like they can't make a longer one like bose and other companies do

    Wireless 3 Are Superb

Mine arrived yesterday. Triple Black Pair of Wireless 3 i went for as i was sick of losing my normal running headphones from my ears while running. I can now have my iphone 7 in my nike armband and run without wires getting in way or buds falling out ear. Especially outdoors running. Brilliant and LOUD.

    The Best!

I am probably a lot older than your target audience, and I really couldn't afford them, but I don't care. My Powerbeats are the most fun things I have purchased this year! I love listening to my eclectic music library, and my 'beats do right by it! I bought black ones. My only regret is that I didn't choose another color. My ears are very happy! I.Love.My.Powerbeats!

Battery Charging/Bluetooth Pairing still a problem for Powerbeats

I bought a pair of powerbeats 2 and after 8 months they would not charge to full capacity. Each time I charged them I would have less usable battery. I purchased powerbeats 3 in November of 2016 and the first set started to have battery issues by January. It totally failed to charge by February. The warranty process was superb. I had a brand new pair delivered at no cost within the week. Now approaching June this second pair will not charge or connect to bluetooth. I get 3 flashing white lights when I turn them on. If I reset the powerbeats I get red/white alternating lights 3 times. It seems the powerbeats 3 is only usable for 4 months. Not worth $200!!!

The Best Headphones on the market today

I love how these headphones sound. The Bass is awesome. I wear them everywhere I go the music comes alive when I turn these Power Beats 3 on. Wondering what the Power Beats 4 will be like.

    Excellent except for one thing...

I really like the sound quality and I'm the kind of guy who listens to music for hours on a daily basis. At work, the gym and while running. My only problem, which I'm trying to find a solution for, is that when the inside of my ears starts getting sweaty, they come off slightly (not completely) which makes the sound less powerful. Thus, I'm looking for replacement earbuds that would fix this issue. I'm putting only one star cause I wrote to Beats but I didn't get any answer.

    Better than I Thought

These earphones have exceptional sound quality and great battery life for an earphone. I totally recommend this for anyone who is still not sure whether to buy this product or not.

    Great sound, poor material quality.

I am a fan of Beats products, they always deliver a great quality sound. Unfortunately, the quality of the materials used is very poor. It's been my experience that Beats products tend not to hold up to normal wear and tear from daily use. These Beats were no exception, after about 2 months of use the ear hook, which is intended to be flexible and adjustable, snapped off at the base where it meets the earbud housing. There must be some other material available that is much more durable and that will hold up to normal daily use better than this. I've had similar encounters with other Beats products that incline me to seriously consider other products. I anticipate a better experience with my most recent product purchase, the Beats Solo 3 Wireless (crossing fingers).

Horrible sound. Listen before you buy

High expectations but treble way to high with "tinny" sound. IPhone 7 doesn't allow one to turn up bass. The factory headphones which came with IPhone 7 have much better bass sound

Great product when it's working - great sound, very comfortable, light weight, don't fall out. But I'm now on my 8th pair - the longest lasting was about 6 weeks. Current pair is only 2 weeks old and I hope they make it through a half marathon this weekend. If there's any good news in the reliability, it's that Apple are always happy to replace them.

    Missing something?

I think it's crazy that these don't even come with a charger, only a USB cord. I wish I would've known that before I bought them. I'm traveling out of the country & I thought these would be convenient.

I wanted to share an amazing experience with you. Over the weekend, I was cleaning the house and started doing the laundry for my 16 years old son. I put his clothes in the washer machine without checking pocket and programed the machine for the longest washing cycle which is 50 minutes. I didn’t realise that in the pocket of one of his jacket there was Powerbeats3 Wireless until I was transferring the clothes from the washer to the dryer. I got so scared! Didn’t know what to do! But I just put the beats on his bed and when he came back from basketball I told him the whole story and excused my self for not being more careful while washing his clothes. He looked so sad, he plugged in and after 10 seconds there was a green light on!!!! surprise!!! the beats were perfectly working again after 45 minutes in the washer with double soap and softener!!!! Thank you so much for such a superior quality product and the best technology ever! I also wanted to tell you that he wont his beats in a basketball competition so it really meant a lot to him! Thank you so much for this product!!!! I truly recommend this product! Thank you beats Karmen (Vancouver Canada)

    Do not buy!!!!

Worst product ever! I'm on my 7th pair. All of them end up having a bluetooth connection problem, which defeats the purpose of the product in the first place (wireless). Save your money, and buy something else.

    Best Heaphones for working out

I have had countless hours on these headphones and I have to say they are amazing. My lifts last anywhere from 2-3 hours, 5-6 days a week and never once have I had a problem with them. the battery life and charging time is amazing and i never fear that i will loose juice. Now that i have been using both the power beats 2 and 3 for the last year and half, i couldnt imagine using any other headphones for working out. whether its a hardcore lift or condition session, i have never had a problem. Also, they really are sweat proof. i have broken other pairs of headphones from sweat, but these have stood the test of time. My pair of headphones are about 6 months old now and are still going strong.

    Best Wireless for Working Out

These are far better than the Powerbeats2 and sound better because of the extra length on the earbuds to fit better in the ear. It's only 1 mm but it makes a big difference. Only thing that bothers me is the rubber tips that go in your ears, once warmed up by your body heat, the rubber starts making a noise with body movements, so if you're on an elliptical or running it can get annoying. Hopefully they fix that and I can get new rubber tips otherwise these are great. W1 makes the experience even better.

    Best Bluetooth inear earphones ?

The first thing you need when buying Bluetooth earphones is connection to your device / iphone , having brought the jaybird X3"s they work great indoors but whilst I'm out walking it would always have trouble with skipping / Bluetooth connection it was so bad could not use it ! but the Powerbeats 3 never had any problems probably thanks the apples W1 chip ! sound Quality is on par with the X3'S 12 hour battery life great also found had no problems with the tips used the large sealed great thought before i brought the powerbeats 3 might need to get the comply tips but no ! so I've save some money happy days ! love the ear hooks stay in place ! i don't have the neck band at the back just find it grabs now & then just like the jaybird X3's have it at the front which i like easier to use remote that way , things that could be better the case just too small ! lightning cable instead of micro usb . summing up are these worth $259.95 Au ? i would say yes because of the W1 chip the jaybird X3's are cheaper but they cannot hold the connection outdoors like the powerbeats3 can ! hope this review has help you Regards Alan.

    Found what i truly wanted.

It took me hours and plenty of trial and error to find the earphones i truly liked. These did the job perfectly. They look awesome, they have superb battery life, and are perfect for those on the move. My only drawback is that they tend to be slightly uncomfortable after long sessions or lying in bed. I'm very sensitive to these kind of things so It might just be me. Overall I am very happy with my purchase.
