Lasted two months of little use, low quality brand

    • Written by Tommy W from Kullavik

I'm done with Beats now. I bought two over the ears, the most expensive ones. One pair lasted <<5 minutes and then died. Apple replaced. Both pairs suffer from terrible broken up cushions due to incorrect plastics. Cost is substantial to replace.
These Powerbeats3 died after two months. Reseller needs 3 MONTHS to "repair". Trash. Sorry, Apple, you're loosing me! I have no time to run and repair all the broken-down products.

Good. For the first few months.

These headphones claim to be sweat and water resistant, yet they disconnect and turn off every hour for what someone said was a feature it has for liquid damage where it just shuts off. Countless people have said they are exchanging them for the 3rd and 4th time. I will be mailing mine in soon.

Not sweatproof or resistant. I run around 5 miles per day. These start off fully charged and by the end of my run they are at 20-30 percent. Once I start sweating the headphones move and need to be adjusted while I am running. I have had these less than 2 years.

    Not durable at all

    • Written by Jakob S

Great sound quality and amazing battery life.

However, they are definitely not sweat resistant and have little to no durability. I only use them while running/in the gym and I've had to go back to the apple store three times to get them replaced because they break when you sweat.

Good sound quality but the build quality is not

    • Written by James R from Fleming island

My brother gave me these headphones and at first I really liked them because of the exceptional sound quality, however after a year both of the ear hooks have started to crack and I had to put some tape on them to prevent them from splitting, and also while cleaning the mesh that covers the speaker, it got pushed in. For $200 they shouldn't be able to break and fall apart so easily. You'd be better off buying something else like airpods or some other kind of wireless headphones.

Love the bass, hate the string!

    • Written by Suraj N from Lethbridge

I love the bass in Powerbeats 3. It’s the best out there, however the string has been the most annoying. I accidentally broke my tube that goes around the ear, I received a replacement by Apple however, the replacement one feels lower quality even in bass. Not satisfied. Might consider buying another wireless beats again if the design comes without the string.

    Really bad quality brand

    • Written by Pablo R from Guatemala

Got them as a present a month ago and they broke up. I used them only 3 times (3 short runs) and stopped working and charging; three weeks waiting for the replacement. When I finally got the replacement, I went out for a joy run and now they won't turn on again, this time after only a 45 min workout. Going back to the reseller tomorrow to inquire whether I could have them exchange for a better brand. In the meantime, I had to use my old US$20 earphones, which are already a year old. I'm really really disappointed... and my wife, who gave those to me as a present, a bit more.

Good until after the limited warranty ends

    • Written by Tiffanie S from Norwalk

For the price you pay for this, the product should not be falling apart. The left earphone literally broke apart exposing the inner wires and isn't repairable. The sound and Bluetooth connection was great but the way it was put together is horrible quality, even wireless earphones that you can buy from amazon for 10-15 dollars is more durable than this. Extremely disappointed and my limited warranty ended about a few months ago.

    Won’t turn on

    • Written by Bujju R from Little Rock

I was using then non stop on youtube for 3 days then I charged them for the third day and the wouldn’t turn on. I reset. Nothing. The sound quality was perfect so i’m very disappointed. Unless I can get these to work I’m not buying beats ever again, because every pair by Apple didn’t work.
