    61W USB-C Power Adapter

    • Written by Iain D from Maidenhead

I know it says in the small print it doesn't have a cable but £69 for a charger that (1) doesn't have a mains lead just the plug adapter and (2) no USB-C cable is incredibly overpriced.

It's disappointing because the MacBook Pro really does need a lot of power when the CPU is working so most of my existing chargers for a MacBook can't manage to power it and I do need a second charger for my office.

I've used Macs since the early 90s and understand I'm buying a premium product, but this is beyond ridiculous.

Misleading - No cable with it

    • Written by Jeffrey S from New York

No problem with the adapter so far. However, it seems very misleading not to include a USB-C cable with the power adapter. It's brand new, so nobody has the C-cables just lying around the way we do with the regular USB cords. Why would I buy an extra Power Adapter if I already had the cord? Salespeople could easily be trained to remind people of what they are and are not getting when they buy this product.
