    Quality Headphones Built For The Future

    I've owned a pair of BeatsX since Christmas, they've proven themselves to be incredibly handy in comparison to my EarPods, sound quality is great, bass isn't overpowering and its a reasonably balanced but still an exciting sounding pair. Main thing for me is the noise isolation as I work in a loud warehouse and these kill external volume aggressively, I can hear my podcasts comfortably at 50% volume whereas my EarPods at max are losing my content to the ambient noise. The cable doesn't snag either unless you have a high collar with a zip but otherwise is unnoticeable through the day and the tips do not get tiresome after hours and hours of use a day 10/10

    Wont Hold Charge

    Phenominal Sound, Great Microphone, Very Comfortable. Perfect in each of these performance measures. Probelm, the advertised 8 Hour Charge is a myth. I can barely get 90 minutes use without having to charge. If there is no charge, I can't enjoy the product, rendering it useless.

    When I purchased these the light wouldn't come on when I pressed the button it would come on when I charged it and it didn't want to pair with my Samsung since they said any device. also this is my first ever purchase of the dr dre beatsx

    No carrying case

    I Recently ordered a new pair of beatx earbuds I was disappointed when I open the box and saw they no longer carry the silicon carrying case for these earbuds. I returned them because of that reason.

    Good, but could be great

    Pros: great sound | Comfortable in-ear option for outdoor pursuits where traditional earbuds/airbuds are unsuitable due to wind noise | Wireless made easy | Decent battery life given overall size | Convenient magnet linking a neckless when not in use || Cons: The power and main central button [answering calls, skipping songs] dexterity is very poor, and nearly impossible with thin gloves | Asymmetric, meaning they are designed for the control side to be on the left ear only, and not interchangeable | Difficult to store away when not in use | Battery life evaporates when talking on phone | Fit can often be cumbersome with material on the flex-form cable || Bottom line: A very good product with great functionality. It's difficult to gauge expectations of battery life for such new technology, but honest reporting of battery life is expected, not just best case. Wonderful to be free from traditional headphone cables with great sound and have in-ear sealing for runs and bike rides and for those of us who prefer a more snug ear piece than the traditional apple buds. These headphones work very well, but dexterity could be improved for the non-volume buttons, I question why these can't be designed to be symmetric, so users can choose which side controls reside, and improved battery life would be desired

    Best quality but does not last long

    The headphones are quite good on performance but they horribly stop working after a period. I had exchange twice due to this issue which fell under warranty period and for the 3rd one, 6 months after the purchase, starts disconnecting from the iPhone. Not recommended at all.

    The Powerbeats3 is amazing. I use mine everyday when I go to the gym. The amazing sound blocks out the noise of everything around me and the bass is on point. Only have to charge them once a week which workouts excellent with me always being on the go

    Hello Apple team, I was very excited to get my hands on the Beats X Bluetooth earphones. The product is GREAT in terms of the music, charging and battery life but an BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. We buy the bluetooth earphones so that we can control the music and calls right through the earphones. The problem is that during the calls I CANNOT PUT THE CALL ON MUTE from the earphones and need to use phone to MUTE AND UNMUTE the calls. This is VERY BASIC FEATURE which is MISSING. Can you please IMPLEMENT the mute and un-mute option ASAP and I m expecting that the Apple team will work hard to push the update with an firmware update and make it available it. Thank you for all the good work delivered so far. Kind regards Mahendra

    i too have been wonderfully gifted with these amazing sounding beatsX. however, i’m very disappointed. i had a pair of urbeats back when thy were popular but those broke along with my less than 6 month old pair of beatsx. i can see the problem i’m having is similar to many on these reviews. please, just go buy a pair from the dollar tree for better quality than these.

    On my 3rd pair and now being told I have to pay for new ones

    Both the first 2 pairs broke with software issues.
    I've had the most recent pair 4 months and they now have a loose connection, and I'm being told I have to pay to replace them.
    They're great when they work, but as a Product Designer I find the build quality an absolute joke.

    Pour Build Quality

    Have gone through 3 pairs with the same issue, they all break after 4 months due to the same design/build defect everyone is complaining about here. Manufacturers warranty expires after the initial purchase, which basically means after the 2nd replacement pair they sent me broke I was SOL. The 1 year warranty should reset if they need to replace the product, also they shouldn't be selling a product that doesn't last a year. Very disappointing, for the premium apple charges for its brand I expect more than this.

    Bad bad bad

    *sigh* These really are terrible headphones. I bought them about 9 months ago but they broke, randomly, during that time and I had to send them in. Got them back only for a new problem to have arisen. First time, they would connect to my phone, but disconnect every time I tried to open an app to play music or video. Now, they go to voice control for no reason at all, every 40 seconds or so. The on/off button doesn’t work so I just have to wait for them to die. Do not be played by the sharp design. Complete and absolute waste of money.

    garbage product do not buy

    as you can see from the other reviews, this is the worst apple product. it broke down within a few months, i wasn't given a replacement by apple, they took the product and took 2 weeks to get a new one as it was under the warranty, the replacement lasted a couple more months. much better options like jabra, jaybird etc out there. stay away from these ones. sound quality is average at best for the price point

    Bought these bc I was fed up with wireless headphones that sounded terrible and were even worse when talking on the phone (which is primarily what I use these for). The sound for answering calls is excellent, battery life is good. Only complaint, I have a difficult time answering calls using the "answer" button on these. It only picks up the call ~20% of the time. All other times I must use the phone to answer, then transfer the call to BeatsX.

    Do not purchase BeatsX by dr dre

    This product stopped holding a charge exactly 12 months from purchase - just when the one year warranty was up. These are an expensive choice and are no better than a cheap pair. Now Apple wants what amounts to half of the original purchase price just to replace the faulty battery.

    I don’t know what some of these bad reviews are talking about. I’ve never had a problem with mine that I’ve had for about 2 years. Other than my ears hurting after many hours of use, every so often this would happen. But I believe this is a personal problem. The headphones have a great sound quality, and an amazing battery life. I would buy them again if I had to, but I probably won’t need to.

    Just got the beats x. They are awesome in every way. Except the battery life. It says up to 8 hours. But I routinely get barely 4. Disappointing for sure. But they are worth it
