    Very comfortable, great sound quality!

    I thought there was very little bass and then I realized that it was only because I hadn’t pushed the buds in my ears far enough. They fit comfortably in the ear canal and the design is very nice.

    Great earphones if they didn't stop working

    Got my first ones for the first time around two years ago and they didn't work straight out of the box (they wouldn't even turn on), went to Apple and got them replaced right away. All good after that, amazing sound quality, fast charging is a great feature and after getting used to the wire around the neck I pretty much loved them. However, they have now stopped working properly, I can't turn them on or if I manage to do so (after way to many tries) then I struggle to turn them off. Since they're out of the warranty period Apple doesn't replace them and I'd have to pay £70 to do so which (after looking for other earphones) I was considering to do so, until I read these other reviews! It seems to me that these earphones are all faulty and Apple is not really trying to fix the product, instead keeps selling these and hopping that they'll work until they're out of the warranry period so we have to pay to get them replace. I guess that's one way of getting rid of all your faulty beats x.
    Fair to say I'm not impressed with these, Beats should be associated to a certain quality standard, I have my powerbeats for about 4 years now and they are amazing truly lived up to Beats quality (I used them all the time to workout), these ones however definetly have some hardware issues and I'm not going to give them a third chance.

    got a pair in Spring 2018, put it away for a few months and tried using again Summer 2019.. will not turn on, just solid white light when 'charging'.. called support to be told it was obviously not in warranty and have to pay 80 dollars to get it fixed.. why the f would i do that when a new one costs 100?!

    If you can live with just Ok...

    Bought mine last August, after using and returning an Anker bluetooth earphones. Pairs great with my iphone, the silicone ear plugs are very comfortable. The left side even conforms to my tragus piercing. I find the neck band surprisingly comfortable too. It kept the earphones balance, by that, I mean, I did not get the cord dropping in one side, which I got with the previous Anker. Sounds Ok, it does not have the same "body" as compared to the sound coming from my wired apple earphones (I am not an audiophile. I have only used the earphones that comes with my phones, so take this comment with a grain of salt). And at this price range, I expected it to come with accessories... which it does not.

    Do Not Purchase!

    Sadly those earphones are bad quality. I had the first set for about 8 months when they stopped pairing with my iPhone/MacBook. The LEDs started switching between white and red and wouldn't connect at all or only for a few seconds before disconnecting again. A reset didn't do anything, neither updating the software. As they were still within warranty back then I got a replacement. However, a year in, the replacement product has the same issue, but now I am not eligible for yet another replacement. Either way, they're better off in the trash anyways. It's definitely a recurring problem (if you google you'll find more people are experiencing this issue) and it is rather disappointing that Apple does not seem to ensure the quality of the products they sell within the Apple Store. Apple, please either get rid of them or make sure they fix their faults - otherwise it just reflects negatively on you.

    Didn’t realize I was buying $100 earbuds that last <18 months

    Functionally, I love the BeatsX - they integrate with the IPhone well, produce reasonably good sound, and have good battery life. However, they only have an 8-9 month useful life before they stop accepting a charge. Apple will replace them for you the first time but after that they’ll charge you $79 to repair their $100 product. There is clearly a design flaw in this product and Apple doesn’t stand behind their product - even the technicians at the Apple store will tell you they need to be treated like a $100 disposable product and that they wouldn’t buy them. I expected more from Apple.

    Worst investment ever!!!

    Extremely short lifespan. Waste of money! One side stopped working and it doesn't hold a charge. My husband and I both have a pair. He is on his second pair because his first set stopped working after 4 months. I have had mine for about 7 months and one side is completely out. The light for the power button does not come on. We bought these because we believed the reputation that Beats were a brand that was reliable and worth the price. They absolutely overrated and not worth it. I can only give it one star because it charges very fast and the convenience of being wireless. Other than that, this was a garbage purchase. I DO NOT recommend this product.

    great earbuds

    These earbuds are great. It depends on what you like. Some people don’t like these earbuds because they don’t like the way they fit or look for go around your neck. Sometimes the case is you just bought the wrong earbuds. These earbuds definitely have an 8 hour battery life AND the 5 min = and hour or whatever is true too. The noise isolation is really good , better than I thought, and also the sound of it is terrific. The bass punches hard. I definitely recommend these earbuds, but like I said, make sure you know what your buying and know how it looks.

    Problems outweigh the benefits

    When they work they're great (hence the second star), but...

    I bought these 9 months ago. Since then they have broken three times, and the most recent replacement set I was given lasted only three weeks before breaking again yesterday. At this stage it feels like I spend more time having them repaired than actually wearing them! I have a couple of friends who own the same make and they have both encountered the same issues so I'm afraid this seems to be a defective product. HonestIy, I wouldn't buy them again.

    Legit, the worst ever.

    Apple needs a wholesale recall of these. I’m incensed that they continue to sell these. Look at all the one star reviews. I wish I’d read them. What a waste of money. The light notification went first. Then the sound, now the battery lasts an hour if I’m lucky. All in less than 6 months. I’m pestering this doesn’t bleed into their other products.

    Awful, unreliable

    I had to change mine 2 times, my wife’s once and my friend’s one broke the other day as well. They just stop working for no reason, sometimes it’s a couple of months, may be a year or two, but once you’re out of warranty, you’ll have to pay for this defected product.

    DONT BUY PLEASE READ lost $260

    I suggest not buying these in any color . I purchased two,one for me and one for my wife they both no longer work both of them the batteries don’t function.I started to read about them and find out everyone is having the same issue and apple wont admit that they have created a product that has issues apple keeps making products with faulty batteries. Their solution to this issue is to sell you another one for $79 and you have to pay freight you might as well go into the store buy them for $100 and get them the same day the $15 you save won’t be worth it. I suggest buying a different brand if you want them to last.

    Not sure? Read this

    Pros:
    -Connected well to my phone
    -connects at a medium-fast rate
    -Box comes with a lot of spare earbuds
    -It's a nice white, clean good quality material
    -Convenient for phone calls as you can multitask
    -Charges via lightning which is convenient

    Cons:
    -The bass in these is the lowest I've ever heard in a pair of earphones and I've been through quite a few of them. It makes it feel like half the song is missing
    -Charge life does not last that long
    -The mic bugs out sometimes; I've had to repeat myself so many times on the phone even though the mic is right next to my mouth
    -The wires are awkwardly loopy (when you have the earbuds in) cos of the sturdy material. Feels a little odd.

    Overall whilst I am really disappointed with these considering Beats and Apple's reputation due to the lack of sound quality and technical convenience, I kept them anyway for its portability during phone calls. It's really convenient in that sense as I can eat, wash up, walk handsfree whilst taking calls. If you are looking for sound quality and value, then steer AWAY from these. Defo not worth the price.

    I've owned 3 pairs of these and they all stop working within a year or so. Great when then they work... then not. Buy something else until they fix the quality issues.

    Short Life Span

    I had these headphones for just over a year and they just stopped working on me. Sound and quality were good up to this point. Now the headphones just will not turn on, poor quality from Apple and a product that should last much longer than just over their warranty period. I would not recommend these to anyone.

    Worthless......used a week ...they connect wherever they felt like it... will manually switch from voice to speaker to the headphones and they would disconnect....FIRST AND LAST BEATS PRODUCT I WILL EVER PURCHASE.....I ripped them and threw them out.....
    Get anything else but these......

    If only it lasted longer

    It has been over 12 months since I got these earphones but they have already been replaced once and the second pair now has another problem. I really like these earphones because they have great sound quality and they allow me to block out other noises and just focus on my work. The customisable features were really nice too.
    I've always used Apple products and I sincerely want to keep using these headphones if I could. But in all honesty, just get headphones with better reviews I guess.

    Always ends up breaking

    Ive had teo pairs of these and both times the right headphone stopps working after about 6 months or so. If you’re looking for good Bluetooth earbuds I’d strongly recommend anything from Jaybird so far they have been the best.

    On second pair in less than 18 months

    I have had 2 pair in 18 months and they have both gone out. Unfortunately it has been a little over 12 months on the 2nd pair so my warranty is void. I like the fit and comfort but if product does not work then why buy it.

    Apple needs to do better!
