    Better than Bose

    • Written by Sean S from Wilton Manors

These beats are for athletes and multitaskers. YES, the case is big. Engineered that way for those of us that live on our headphones. All day battery love! Thank you apple!!!

I am NOT the average consumer.

I stand on my hands and do backflips during workouts. (headphones stay put)
I watch movies while waiting in line at the DMV. (I'm able to hear what's going around me)
I enjoy stereo sound phone calls while I"m folding laundry. (my conversation is in both ears)
I need one ear receiving phone calls when I am dismissing 50 children ready to go home to parents. (single ear support and controls on earpiece)

I'm not an audiophile at all... so for those of you into highs and lows and all that... prolly not for you.

Exactly what I wanted. Delivers on all aspects

    • Written by AMRITA N from Coralville

Connectivity: Love it. Seamless transition from iPhone to Apple Watch to Macbook. No connection dropouts. It just works. During phone calls, the sound is clear and no one has complained about call quality.

The fit is comfortable and secure. The buttons on the Powerbeats are perfect. Pressing them does not cause the earbuds to push uncomfortably into my ear (a problem some other wireless earbuds have). It is easy to work the buttons even when running

    Sound quality:
I do not look for hifi sound in wireless earbuds. The sound quality of the Powerbeats Pro meets my expectations. It is noticeably better than other wireless earbuds I have tried such as Airpods, Jabra Elite and Galaxy Buds. I don’t agree with comments about the Powerbeats Pro sounding tinny. They are not. Powerbeats Pro actually have a slightly exaggerated base and, in my opinion are loud enough. Compared to my wired Westone earbuds, the sound stage of the Powerbeats is smaller and vocals don’t sound as rich - but that's an unfair comparison.

    most honest review on here

    • Written by armando J from Lincoln

Just like you, I read all the reviews about the Power Beats Pro's and watched multiple YouTube unboxing videos, etc. After all that, I still felt a little worried about the quality of these earbuds given they are $250. One guy on YouTube literally said it was a one of the pros to buying since you'd look rich. If you're buying these to look rich or for clout, you need to reevaluate how you spend money. Regardless of that, these earbuds are awesome FOR WORKING OUT OR PLAYING SPORTS. I want to emphasize that since some of these people have giving bad reviews cause the case is too big or bad apple service. They are designed to be durable and as sleek as they can be! It would be impossible to deliver that if they made a smaller case. If you're serious about working out and want to invest in some great earbuds, these will 100% do the trick. Everyone's ears are different so they do come with different buds to accommodate your ear size, so try switching them to find the best fit!

To address the ongoing sound complaint, these people complaining are either going deaf or are hard of hearing already cause these buds get super loud. I couldn't imagine them getting any louder since they actually go into your ear! If you need louder headphones, invest in actual headphones. not earbuds.

These are the best WORKOUT earbuds on the market. I've tried many, and these are the ones I love. I normally hate beats but these are awesome for aesthetic, quality and comfort. If it hits all three, it's a great buy!

    Love my new Beats Pro!

    • Written by Amandeep S from San Ramon

I was very skeptical about buying these because there are so many mixed reviews online. So I decided to try them on for 2 weeks. I even told the sales girl that I will bring these back if I did not like them within 2 weeks. Well, my week 1 is over today and here is my feedback -

Pros - Very easy to use, connectivity is superb, sound quality is great, fit is perfect, volume control on both is a great feature, and the battery life is very long-lasting. Still, 85% charged after my 1st week! Not kidding.

Cons - Very expensive, charging case is huge as compared to the air pods, and no wireless charging.

Verdict - I am going to keep them! Thanks.

These really went above my expectations

    • Written by Eder A from Bakersfield

When you 1st consider the $250 price tag, it may seem like a big jump from AirPods. But for the quality it’s not. Offering better sound quality than AirPods, ear hooks to prevent them from falling out and a battery life that seems to last all day. I’d say it’s 100% worth the price tag. But hey don’t listen to me get yourself a pair and see for yourself.

Great quality, great battery life, perfect workout headphones

    • Written by Scott M from Trexlertown

I love my AirPods, but I wanted a headphone that I could work out with. What makes a great workout headphone to me? Small, Portable, No cable, great battery life, isolation from the music at the gym, and on board controls for volume and playback. These headphones are outstanding, and totally worth the higher than most price point. Are there cheaper options? Absolutely, but if you want the best, pay for it.

Best balance of audio and convenience in the True Wireless category

    • Written by Devon J from Blacksburg

The best sounding headphones in Apple’s (and Beat’s) entire product lineup, handsdown. Effortless pairing, comfortable, and decent sound isolation, especially when compared to Apple AirPods.

These things rarely ever need to be charged, seriously, they absolutely sip power and last all day without the charging case. The ability to have all day music without charging is good because the case is pretty bulky, one of the few marks against these buds.

I generally don’t like this trend in modern head phones of a bass forward EQ, and prefer a flatter EQ. But these things sound really good, full rich bass without being fatiguing, and clear mid range and high end. Classical music sounds great on these, which I wasn’t expecting.

If you have the extra cash I think these are worth the premium over AirPods. Better sound, better battery, better seal, water resistant and all the new tech of the AirPods (H1 Chip, Bluetooth 5.0).

Best Sports Headphones, Especially for Basketball

    • Written by Adrian M from Los Angeles

Ladies and Gents, we're here and we've advanced technology to the point where we finally have a solid, dependable, useful sports headphone - specifically for basketball in my case. After many a headphone attempts, wires flailed in the way of my dribble or it was annoying tucking a phone in my pocket, which goes flying as soon as you hit top speed or go for a high agility play.

Powerbeats Pro changed the game. I left my iPhone 7s at midcourt on a chair and the bluetooth range reached the furthest corners of the court. Jumping like Iguodala on my jump shot or driving fast to the hoop for a layup slapping glass didn't even so much as move the headphone from its place. For a sports headphone, this is literally the best experience I could ask for. I was in the zone and didn't have to think twice about a headphone falling out or wire in my way.

As for the sound I'm not an audiophile, but the sound quality was good enough for the average Joe. There's bass and you can't ask for more from normal sound for a sports headphone. I will note that on full volume, the mids/highs sound a bit intense in ears. Regular volume is good for me and it had me in my mode, playing what I thought was amazing basketball on the court solo.

Highly recommend, especially if you're a basketball player looking for good accompanying headphones on the hardwood.

    I’m impressed 👍

    • Written by Ian M from Fareham

I’ve had Bose for years but decided to try something new! These are my first ones from Beats/Apple and I’m impressed by the build quality, ear fit and the sound, all brilliant for me. Some have complained about the size of the charging box which is understandable if you want to carry them in your pocket, but for me that’s not an issue. The controls are very straight forward to use and syncing with your iPhone is so, so easy. Love them.

When I read the reviews on here I was a bit skeptical as to if I should get these. So one day I pulled the trigger and this is the best Bluetooth earphones I have ever bought! I have used both AirPods and Bose Bluetooth earbuds but these top it with the quality and the fit! The bass isn’t as strong but it’s still to the point where you can feel it. It doesn’t have that sharp treble sound on top volume as past beats earphones have. The way they fit into your ears is astounding! I am very satisfied with my purchase!!!

    Best wireless headphones!

    • Written by Sam H from windsor

I’ve had them for a week and all I can say is amazing. Worth $250 I don’t think so but if I lost these I would buy them again. Had the Powerbeats 2 for around 3 years and they decided to break on me. I loved them but I hated the wire that connected both the headphones. It would always get in the way. These are amazing, they stay on your ears and don’t move during workouts. These are definitely for the active person. I wouldn’t recommend these for people who are just going to use them for listening to music, I’d say get different headphones like the AirPods. If you’re needing some to workout in however, they are the best on the market.

I bought these to replace some Bose soundsport free (that i had to return because they kept falling out at gym)... and they are great.
I had to break the habit of constantly trying to adjust my earphones, dont need to touch them at all.

Sound quality is comparable. Just make sure you use the right size tips for a full sound.

I read plenty of reviews first, because they're pretty expensive. But so worth it!
Only gripe, is make sure theyre in the dock securely so that they are on charge, just sitting them in, doesnt always work.

But with super fast charging, and long long battery life. Theyre a winner.

Superb sound, excellent build quality, comfortable to wear.

    • Written by David S from Wyton

Have Bose and Sennheiser wired ear buds. Powerbeats sound fidelity equal or better. I am truly amazed and pleased with the sound quality. Have listened to pop and classical music (though no Richter scale 8 bass). Best sound quality of the many earbuds I have owned. Over the ear necessary for me as others (bar the Bose) have falling out issues. Use largest ear pieces which are very effective in blocking wind and other background noise. Both over the ear part and ear pieces completely comfortable during 1.5 hour walks. Use it for walking dogs, not exercise, so no comment re perspiration or retention with vigorous movement. No drop-out issues in my experience. Have used earphones with iPhone XS 2-3 meters away. Completely satisfied,

Beats Sound Quality with AirPod convenience - I love these!

    • Written by Jacob F from Grand Rapids

I had AirPods for about a day and the sound quality is a joke. Not for me. I've been a customer and fan of Beats products from the beginning.

I was first worried about the fit when I received these. I put them on but I wasn't getting the sound quality I would expect from a Beats product. I didn't realize at first that they are adjustable — the rings that go over your ears can bend to a unique fit. Now, these fit snug and I found that sound that I love and expect in a Beats in-ear headphone.

I use these every day at the office and when lounging at home, for both music and calls. I love that these are easy to pair with any of my devices. The connectivity is reliable with both my Mac and iPhone.

I do wish these came in more colors. I would love a pair in the bright Beats red. :)

Like others have said, this is a great product that no one should have any hesitation about purchasing.

    A huge improvement

    • Written by Ian F from Altrincham

I previously owned a set of Powerbeats 2 and these Pros are a huge step up. Losing the cable makes a huge difference, especially with longer runs where the cable had a tendency to get annoying (and sweaty - yuck). These fit perfectly and because there isn’t a cable
pulling on your headphones, they stay put. The old ones would move and you would lose sound quality and bass. These new Pros connect brilliantly too, as soon as you open the case. They also know when you’ve taken them out of your ears and will pause the music. Very comfortable, great sound and highly recommended.

If you love your music and you move around a lot theses are for you the case is to big to carry around in your pocket. But with 9 hrs of battery time in each ear and controls on each ear the case can be left in your car or bag...

I have never been able to wear in-ear headphones. They all fall out. But these are amazing. I can shake my head and they are locked in and very comfortable. Great sound. Genius storage and charging all in one. Syncing was a breeze for both my iPhone and Garmin watch.

    brutally honest review

    • Written by Wei J from New York

TLDR: One of the best on current market (6/2019) for sports, all day wear, overall sound quality, and those fed up with "wireless" wire/remote that often need readjustments.

    1. Poor reviews might be due to defective first batch/shipments that apple is known for, or just people rushing to publish reviews before bothering to experiment with the silicone tips and other stuff, or comparing the buds to full size studio headphones (lul muh sound quality). The tips actually made a HUGE difference in sound quality, esp with bass. Regardless of your previous tip sizes used for other brands and even for other beats, just try all the tips. The tips on the earbuds were medium, the package had small, large, and a different medium with 2 layer tips. If you feel the bass is weak, try one size bigger. Large worked best for me, but I also usually use large tips for other buds. The 2 layer medium felt more "airy" than the standard medium, not sure if that's because I normally wear large. But it can be handy if you need to head external noises, like when biking or when you have to talk/listen in the office, this way you can use those different tips instead of taking the earbuds on and off.

    2. Flush your ears with debrox or some other chemical for earwax. Physical removal can be painful and potentially dangerous. It makes a difference in sound, and also general comfort. Most people are not aware or don't think about this, like I used to be.

    3. Full size headphones of similar price/brand/tier will almost always be better for sound, because they don't really have to worry about size, weight, and have bigger/more drivers vs. smaller/less drivers for wireless buds. You are bound to have to make tradeoffs for true wireless form factor. Be realistic and aware.

    4. Battery life is probably 6-7 hours for regular max to 2-4 volume levels below max volume, 9 hours is probably for mixed use, or music at 50% volume.

    5. The pairing ui refer to these as airpods, so they probably rushed this out before other brands also improve their buds' battery life. Wonder if this would have happened if Steve Jobs was alive.

In the end, give it a try, because it is currently the only true wireless buds with this kind of build quality, battery life, and form factor, and 14 days return. Bose and momentum didn't work for me, because short battery life and only for walking (fell out during high intensity workouts). Other "wireless" buds always had problems with wires getting caught in clothes, stuck/pull on buds when turning head left/right. When I want serious sound, I have several over the ear headphones at home/work for that. These are for long commutes, intensive exercise, while not sacrificing sound/durability/wearability like plantronics/sony/bose/others. The price probably should be $200, but there's no competitor right now that checks all those boxes.
