Military and Foreign Service Shipping to APO/FPO/DPO addresses
Apple does not ship directly to APO/FPO/DPO addresses, but the following options are available:
Option 1 (Military-only): Military Base/Post
Military members living overseas should visit their local AAFES (Army and Air Force) or NEX (Navy and Marines) for access to Apple products. Local stores carry most Apple products, and they’re able to order any out-of-stock products to be delivered to you.
Option 2 (Military-only): Online Partners
Military members living on an installation without an AAFES or NEX can access those respective online stores to order Apple products (except iPhone) by visiting AAFES (Army and Air Force) or NEX (Navy and Marines).
Option 3 (Military and Foreign Service): APO/FPO Delivery Services
Military and Foreign Service members can order products directly from Apple and have them delivered by an APO/FPO delivery service by doing the following:
How it works:
- Sign up with an APO/FPO delivery services such as APO Box, or choose another one.
- Then simply return to the Apple Store for Government and Military Employees and complete your order using the new U.S. address provided by the delivery service.
- Apple will ship your order to the new U.S. shipping address, and the delivery service will forward it to your APO/FPO address. (Fees and service vary by vendor.)
APO/FPO Shipping Charges:
Please note that in addition to the standard shipping charges billed by Apple, the delivery service has its own charge for getting your order to your APO/FPO address. These additional fees include handling fees, Priority Mail postage, and any optional insurance coverage. Both the postage and insurance are charged at published U.S. Postal Service rates.
APO/FPO Insurance (Highly Recommended):
For APO/FPO shipments, Apple is not responsible for loss or damage to products during shipment from the delivery service to APO/FPO. Therefore, we highly recommend you insure each package for up to its full value.
APO/FPO Delivery Time:
Please note that APO/FPO deliveries can take up to 6-8 weeks depending on local conditions at destination. Delivery services use the U.S Postal Service to deliver to APO/FPO addresses, and package tracking is not available to final destination.
