This project is an example implementation of the Interconnect API. Once you register for the Interconnect Service, You can download DangoTalk.

The widget runs in the Dashboard available on later versions of OS X, it provides two text boxes for two phone numbers. Upon request the Interconnect service will call the two numbers and connect them — similar to click-to-talk — but initated from a desktop application instead of a web application.
