The trial provides you with a fully functional version of Aperture 1.5 that you can use and experiment with. While it includes all the features available in a licensed copy, the trial version will expire 30 days after you launch it for the first time.

Please note that the 30-day Aperture 1.5 trial software does not include sample images or the tutorials that ship in the Aperture 1.5 retail box. You can acquire both at the time you purchase your licensed copy by selecting the "retail box" option. Tutorials are also available online.

To use the Aperture 1.5 Trial, you'll need an Intel-based Mac or one of the qualified PowerPC systems listed on the Aperture Technical Specifications page. You should also download and run the Aperture Compatibility Checker to verify that your system supports Aperture. After downloading the software, you'll need to acknowledge and accept the End User License Agreement.
