I was not comfortable with the lack of protection of the Smart Folio, so the minute the OtterBox Symmetry Series 360 Case came out I purchased it right away and return the Smart Folio. I am extremely happy with the OtterBox Symmetry Series 360 Case. Much more protection, it is very stylish. I highly recommend the OtterBox Symmetry Series 360 Case.

      Great protection beats the folio

The back cover is crystal clear so you can still see your beautiful apple logo surrounded in space gray (the color you should have). I only wish the case was easier to open with the pencil being attached. The case provides proper protection and is worth its price.

      Pretty Good

I also like how a tab folds over to protect the Apple Pencil. The folding seams of the front cover create a little looseness when folding into a triangle to serve as an iPad stand. Other than that, this is a pretty good case.

      OtterBox 👎

I was unable to press the buttons with the hard coating of plastic that covers them. I wish they would leave them visable and accessible.

It keeps the iPad as an easy to carry device with minimal change in size to foot print of the device. Super easy in and out of a sachet I use from Coach or I just carry it’s my daily device. I use my iPad primarily for meetings with the pencil so, protection is a must for my use case. The pencil stays nested and the clear back allows for the AppleDesign to maintain its presence while protecting the finish. Color and feel are also great in addition to adequate protection and the price is right.

Caused my iPad Pro to lose touch feature intermittently

I like the general size and feel of it, the materials... the little flap that holds the pencil firmly against the iPad Pro... but the honeymoon ran out a couple weeks ago when I started experiencing an issue that I believe is caused solely by this case: certain areas of the screen simply stopped accepting touch gestures from time-to-time. No taps, no swipes, nothing. And then it would come back. And then go away again. I tried restarting, quitting all my apps, turning the screen around a number of times to see if the gyroscope needed a little reminder... but finally I tried taking my iPadPro out of the case and immediately all was cured. Honestly it also feels more responsive speed/animation wise. My guess is the magnets are interfering somehow, but it isn't my job to figure this out in its entirety. I DO have a screen protector on the screen to make it more matte and feel a bit more toothy (for drawing) than the original screen surface, but this is unrelated, as... again... popping the iPadPro out of this case fixed it immediately.
