      Doesn’t last

Works but I’m on my third and I leave it in one place, not as reliable and quality as the old cables. My 30 pin cables still work…

Cable rated as USB 3.1 - DOES NOT SUPPORT IT

Bought this cable, indicated as USB 3.1 compatible (Gen 1 5 GB/s, Gen 2, 10 GB/s), but using a 2019 iMac i9 with a Samsung T5 500 MB SSD (brand new), this cable Bought this cable, indicated as USB 3.1 compatible (Gen 1 5 GB/s, Gen 2, 10 GB/s), but using a 2019 iMac i9 with a Samsung T5 500 MB SSD (brand new), this cable can only achieve transfer rates of 30-40 Megabytes per second read/write as tested by BlackMagic software! I thought the cable was damaged and returned it. New cable does the exact same thing. The cable that came with my drive allows transfer rates of 400 Megabytes per second! 10x the rate! Come on Apple, you need to do better! I don't need to pay $40 for a 2 foot Thunderbolt 3 cable as I am not trying to transfer 40 Gb/s! Please give us a reasonably priced cable that is ACTUALLY USB 3.1 compatible... 1 star because 0 wasn't an option...
