How to connect 2 monitors one HDMI and one DVI.

I have 2 monitors that I would like to attach to this device along with my macbook. One I can connect with an HDMI cord the other one is DVI so I'll have to use an adaptor. But according to the specs it doesn't support both. If that is the case how do I run 2 monitors in addition to my macbook?

  • According to Belkin, one of the displays has to be Thunderbolt or Thunderbolt 2 compatible. The other one can be *either* DisplayPort (ie DVI) or HDMI, but you can't have e.g. two DisplayPort monitors attached. That's a bit of a let down since Thunderbolt monitors are quite rare and tend to be expensive. I'm not sure whether you can then daisychain a third monitor off the Thunderbolt one or whether two's the limit.

I can't post a URL, but check the manufacturer's web site.
