Can we use the USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter to connect USB peripherals like hubs, Ethernet adapters, audio/MIDI interfaces?

I used the lithgning to USB 3 camera adapter to connect audio interfaces/midi devices such Yamaha keyboards to the iPad Pro 9.7”. I would like to change to the new iPad Pro 11” and still be able to keep using my music apps with the keyboard

    You should! The USB-B cable from the keyboard would Connect to the female USB-A input on the adapter, and you’ll still be able to charge your iPad Pro at the same time via the USB-C pass-through power delivery connection on the adapter.

    If you’re listening to the audio directly from the iPad, the above sets up is all that you will need. However, if you are using external speakers, I would suggest instead that you use a powered USB-C hub that has at least a 3.5 mm output and the minimum number of USB ports to connect your midi devices and audio interface (that’s if you don’t get a USB-C hub with a 3.5mm output).
