I have an IPOD and an IPAD, can I hook up both (not at the same time) to my laptop?

Absolutely, positively, definitely... I have a Nano, Classic and an iPad and frequently have all three hooked to my mini at the same time. Each will have it's own device line in iTunes and you'll be able to select whichever you want to play with, one at a time. different playlists, photos, music etc... can be selected for each. Hope this helps

  • Yes. You could also hook them both up to your laptop at the same time if you used separate USB ports.

  • Yes- at the same time as well. My iPod touch (first generation) and iPad (latest) both appear in iTunes side menu simultaneously. The touch via cable connector and the iPad via wifi/bluetooth.
