can i install 8gb ram on late 2008 macbook pro
I read somewhere its possible. Any ideas>

The maximum supported amount of RAM is 8 GB. It must be clocked at 1066 MHz.

This will also work on a late 2008 Macbook unibody. I'm running 8GB of RAM on Mavericks with no issues and all 8GB is recognized.
