    Slim, stylish, great protection

I’ve had this case for about 3 years now; I’ve dropped my phone numerous times and it’s never suffered so much as a scratch. And the case is not big and bulky—very slim and stylish. Feels great in my hand too.

Great product: 2 years and still perfect

This is the kind of product you expect to buy. It does what it promises and lasts.
It has protected my iPhone after several drops (once even rolled down the stairs and my iPhone intact.
Cosmetic wear out? A bit, of course, as any product that you use daily...
The next iPhone I get will also use a Tech21 case.

Protection? - shattered with simple drop to floor

Do not purchase: you will have a false sense of security. ONE week shy of warranty expiration, the phone slipped from my hands onto a cement floor. I was not doing anything but holding and texting on the phone. Screen shattered. Fortunately for me, same day screen replacement for $30. I also purchased a case that closes like a wallet. I am very careful with phones and it was the first I've ever broken; trades used to refund me money because my 2-yr old phone was so pristine. This is not an OTTER or Life anything. Spend the same on an Otterbox

    Discolors easily. Compatibility overstated.

The Tech 21 Evo mesh Sport case for iPhone 6 and 6s is a decent case. It offers the expected amount of protection that I'm used to from a open face, tech 21 case. However, after a short month of daily use the case has taken on the dye from my jeans and will not wash off. This is also true for fellow retail store workers who use the same case regardless of the color they used. I bought the white case to match my apple watch sport band, but my black denim jeans have turned the case to a dull grey/brown. I've seen a coworkers pink evo mesh sport case turn blue from their denim.

Beyond that, the case fits mostly correct. It fits the iPhone 6 as expected but stretches the lower portion of the case a little bit on the iPhone 6s. Most people don't realize the 6s is slightly thicker and heavier than the 6. The difference in fit doesn't change the functionality of the case, but when the case is marketed around its ability to stylishly match your ecosystem aesthetic, which it sort of can, this effect lasts only a month or so if you wear dyed pants regularly...

    Zero Protection

Two and a half foot fall provided no protection and the screen smashed.

    Superb Case Yet Again!

This is my second tech 21 case, and it certainly won't be the last, i bought my 1st tech 21 case for an iPhone 4s and its still working fine nearly 5 years later! This latest case is designed really smartly clean lines and made to last, its a bit expensive at 30.00 but, its like anything you get what you pay for.

    Don't waste your money!!

This case is trash! My phone was hit out of my hand by accident from a short distance from the ground, and my phone still manage to crack.

    Decent protection w/a few caveats

The good: This case was recommended to me when I told the Apple Store clerk in Berkeley that I was extremely accident-prone but also wanted to be able to hold and operate the iPhone 6 with one hand, meaning nothing too heavy or bulky. He immediately recommended this case, and I've had it on ever since. Granted, the extra 1/4" it adds to each side makes some of the buttons a bit of a stretch for my (relatively normal-sized?) hand, but the protection is worth it. My iPhone 6 has survived a year and a half or so in my possession (including several drops) completely unscathed.

The not-so-good: It isn't a super-tight seal like some snap cases, so it isn't that hard to get in and out of the case. That's useful if you take it out of the case a lot (to put into an armband, for example), but it also means dirt can accumulate in there which can scratch the aluminum if it isn't cleaned out quickly, and also moisture, if you're not careful. I've noticed a tiny bit of discoloration on the back of the phone, around the lens where the metal isn't covered by the case. It's almost the kind of thing you'd expect to see on furniture or on patios that sit partially in the sun, partially out. I've also noticed small places where it looks as if the mesh pattern on the inside of the case has somehow affected the finish on the aluminum. The pattern isn't an indentation, just a discoloration, and it hasn't come off with cleaning. The resale value isn't a concern of mine - I'll use this phone happily until the next one I want to buy comes along (probably the 7) - and I'll definitely skip the "mesh" the next time I want to buy a case.

    Don't recommend

I was recommended this case by the Apple Store employee who sold me my new iPhone 6S plus. Said it got great reviews, and great in case of dropping your phone. I asked about a screen protector and was told I didn't need one.

Case is slippery, and since the phone is big, this can make it hard to hold on to at times. I went 2 months with only minor fumbles. Then once I dropped my phone from about 3ft onto a sidewalk and the screen shattered. My last iPhone was in a less protective case than the Tech21 claims it is, and I dropped it plenty of times with no issues. So I don't recommend this case to anyone who thinks they might drop this phone.

    Good case

Got the white one for my silver iPhone 6 and I've dropped my phone many MANY times since - no cracks/dents/smashed screen. It has discoloured but I don't mind as long as it continues to protect my phone. Also helps give the phone a good grip!

    Don't buy the clear colour!

At first I liked his case, as it offers good protection from falls and scratches and it has a raised lip above the screen, the case also adds grip to your hand so it's much harded for your iPhone to slip out of your hand, however a huge drawback to this case is that it discoloured and turned to more yellow colour in less than 6 months , I definitely wasn't expecting this from a £30 case, and this is why I wouldn't recommend this case

    Best Case

Won't break and won't scratch the case. No protection for the screen, but that is optional if you buy a separate film. Love this case.

Case is easily scared and marked

I bought this case when I bought my 6s. It looked good and I believe it could offer good protection for the phone but in a few days it began to show cracks in the edging and in a few more the cracks began to expand and increase in numbers. Now it looks like it's been through a war.

I keep the phone in a front pocket in my jeans with coins. The only other option would be with my keys.

I would not recommend this case for anyone who does not have some better place to keep their phone.

Great protection without compromising the iphones looks

Got my first tech21 case with my iphone 4 and now im on the 6 and i wouldnt choose any other case. Great protection without making the phone too bulky or hard to handle. I used to work in a phone store and we sold hundreds of tech21 cases and never had anyone back with a broken screen who had one.

    Poor protection

This was sitting on a bus seat between my legs, and when I got up it fell to the floor and the screen cracked. The edges of this case are raised above the screen, so the screen itself can't hit a flat floor. The corner of the case hit the floor, and the crack came from that. The descriptions says "tough protection", but also says it protects against "bumps". It may protect against light bumps, but certainly doesn't offer "tough protection".

    Simply Amazing

This case has to be the best I've ever used over the last 6 years I have owned various iPhones. Absolutely superb and has protected my phone from being damaged more than once since i got it last year. One of the best investments you can make for protecting your phone

    Great case.

This case does not add much bulk to the phone and does a great job protecting it. Looks great great and also makes it easier to grip.

I would highly recommend this case.

    Dropped down elevator shaft

I dropped my phone with this case down an elevator shaft, 4 floors. I thought it was toast, so I purchased a new phone without ever having to retrieve it. Months later, the elevator repair man came to do some work and found my phone, with so little as a crack! I will use these cases always and forever.

    Poor fit

My old Tech21 Evo Mesh Case kept my iPhone 5 safe and sound for over two years, so I was excited about buying a new one to protect my new iPhone 6s. However, as others have pointed out here, the case does not fit the iPhone 6s properly: the sides are loose and the case has a tendency to slip off, especially when taking the phone out of a pocket. Very disappointed in this product, especially given the premium price point.

    Great protection great size

i have had this case for a full year now and it is my favorite balance of protection and size. I have dropped my phone at least 6 times and it just bounces. I do use the Tech screen protector as well so together they work great. The case fits snug on my iPhone 6 yet I can easily peel it off if I want to.
