    This is Tough

    • Written by David M from Geraldine

I have had the tech 21 case and screen protector for nearly 2 years, so there are some minor scratches.

I have dropped the phone several times, including onto concrete - no damage. I have just had my phone returned after loosing it on the ski field. When I first saw it the were major scratches along the edges and a deep groove across the front. I though - Oh no that a new screen needed - NO. Peeled the screen protector off and the screen is in perfect condition. Amazing

    Horrible quality and way overpriced.

    • Written by Paul T from Den Haag

Bought this together with my iPhone 6s. I asked an employee of the Apple Store in NYC Manhattan to put the screen protector on for me, since they supposedly had the tools for removing dust and bubbles.

Within 2 weeks the screen protector already had a bubble. It's also very sensitive for scratches and the anti-glare is contraproductive, since it makes my screen too dark to see anything on it when I'm walking outside.

I went back to the Apple store, but they refused to take responsibility for putting it on by an employee, nor for selling me a bad product.

Be warned, don't buy this overpriced piece of garbage!

    installation feedback

    • Written by Donnelleigh M from Beaverton

Just installed the Tech21 Impact Shield Screen Protector with Anti-Glare for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s. The cloth that came with it is NOT lint free. I had better success with cleaning the phone screen with my Apple cloth that came with my MacBook Pro. Took a couple tries to position correctly and get all the bubbles out, but that's not unusual for me and installing screen protectors. While removing the bubbles, I scrubbed a bit vigorously with the card included for that purpose and already have a few light scratches on the screen protector, so that doesn't bode well. The anti-glare looks nice and has a lovely feel to it. Guess we'll see how it holds up. I rather wish I'd read the reviews before purchasing. My last anti-glare screen protector, Belkin Anti-Glare Screen Protection for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s, got jabbed by something in my purse and developed a bubble that wouldn't go away. Hoping this screen protector performs better.

    Tech21 stands behind their product.

    • Written by John W from Rochester

I purchased the Tech21 screen protector when I purchased my iPhone 6s at an Apple Store. Like a lot of people I was put off by the price but I wanted the Apple Store employee to put the screen protector on so I just wanted to get it over and paid the freight. A year and half later I am now ready to gift my iPhone 6s to a relative. The screen protector served me well but with gifting the phone in mind I could see the screen protector had discolored in places and was a little rough.
I had kept the screen protector box (since I had paid so much for it) and receipt (since the phone was on it). I filled out a warranty claim on the Tech21 website. Tech21 was very responsive and mailed a new screen protector out (in a retail box) to me within a week. So, I’m very satisfied and now I guess I can say it was worth the money!

    Poor durability over time

    • Written by Luke B from Adelaide

Used this for about a year. Protector yellowed quite badly and became quite tacky to the touch. Wouldn't recommend it based on that. I paid $50 when I originally purchased it. And to become useless within 12 months is pretty poor.

Garbage for the price. Should have read the reviews.

    • Written by Kristin B from Austin

While it does protect the phone screen from scratches, the protector itself scratches way too easily. The texture of the screen protector makes these scratches distractingly visible. I could have found a better one on amazon for less than half the price.

This is by far the worst product I've purchased. Used the applicator to align the film, and the applicator still winds up stuck to the film. When you try and remove it, viola, bubbles every where. TRASH! Shouldn't even get the 1 star. Thank god for minimums Tech21

    not happy!!!

I'm now on my third iPhone 6 plus in less than two years!
First one was faulty but then got stolen anyway...so much for 'find my phone' app!!!
Second one after exactly 13 months....just out of warranty i might add, decided to malfunction, thankfully, after balling my eyes out, they changed it and gave me a new handset. Because they where so nice I felt obliged to spend nearly £100 on a cover and top of the range ...bullet proof? screen protector!
What it fails to do is protect the stupid screen! The cover keeps popping open and the screen protector is intact but the bloody screen is now cracked! Yes I dropped it but Ive had mobile phones for over 15 years....15 YEARS AND NEVER CRACKED A SCREEN!!!!!!!
If apple really care....sort this out!!!!
Its not fair I've spent thousands of pounds on your products and yet your still squeezing money out of people for screen protectors that don't work!
    Another expensive trip to apple!!!!

Phone completely shattered and yet Screen protector has no damage

    • Written by Ella R from Melbourne

Screen protector overview states it absorbs and disperses potentially dangerous impact force away from your iPhone screen, spreads the impact over a wider surface area while a second layer and dampens any remaining impact force from reaching your screen. Yet when my phone fell from a few feet to the ground, the impact skipped the screen protector and completely shattered my phone screen, leaving the screen protector in near perfect condition and my phone in need of YET ANOTHER $210 repair. DO NOT BUY!

Oh my goodness, this is an awful product

    • Written by Ross A from St. Fergus

I found myself in the Aberdeen Apple store the day after my wife accidentally cracked her first Iphone screen protector. This product was the only one available in store and I decided to take a punt as Apple would probably sell a decent product, right? Nope. This is the worst screen protector I've ever had the bad luck to purchase. Initially quite impressed at the application tool, I soon realised it was badly made and the protector wouldn't fit into place as the tool was slightly malformed. Also, the provided cloth added more dust than it cleared. Just impossible to get a decent finish. I eventually bit the bullet and removed the cover and rinsed it under a tap and 'wet installed' it. This worked thankfully, but i would not recommend doing this. It looks horrible on the phone and just barely covers the screen. Truly overpriced garbage. I hope you read the reviews before you buy like I wish I had done. Awful. Buy something, ANYTHING else.

    HUUUUUUUUGE waste of money!!!

    • Written by Daniel R from Bligh Park

This is laying in a crumpled heap on the floor now, the incredibly basic instructions don't say anything! Just pictures!! And they look oh so simple..... But then you try to put it on and everything goes wrong! Firstly it says to wipe your screen with the little cloth, I did this with me brand new iPhone7 and it left cotton particles all over it which I wiped and wiped and wiped until I began to despair, then after using my tshirt to wipe off the cotton I put the applicator on and lined up the screen which somehow, despite using the applicator, went on slightly crooked, I tried to peel it back but it just peeled off the protective layer on top! I then peeled oh off and used the applicator at an absolute snail pace and managed to get it straight.... But an absolute colony of bubbles everywhere appear! I painstakingly try to rub them out but can't get the all and then the edge starts peeling up every time I try to push the bubbles out, it looks like there's something stuck under it, a tiny dot, so I peel it back and wipe it with the stupid cloth forgetting about the particles it leaves and cover the inside "sticky" bit with the particles of cotton.
That's the end. I ripped it off, scrunched it into a heap and furiously started typing this review! My phone has no screen protection and I have no $40.

kind of confused why this has so many negative reviews... hands down best screen protector on the market, especially if you are prone to dropping your phone a lot/cracking your screen like myself. it's going to obviously get scratches like any other screen protector but that's the point of a screen protector haha. it's saved me hundreds of dollars from protecting my screen so well. indestructible. great buy

Worst screen protector, doesn't even cover the screen and has done. It Has done absolutely nothing to protect my screen which has now cracked with the protector on. Don't believe the bullet proof part on the packaging as clearly it isn't.

Don't know why Apple are having this product in their stores.

I have gone through three iPhones and have never ever cracked a screen, and I never used a screen protector. However, I use this one drop my phone ONE TIME and the screene shatters from top to bottom through all the supposed layers of protection. Don't waste your money on this terrible screen protector, you will crack your phone anyway.

Threw it away. Maybe it's just me, but I found the instructions to be unclear. By the time I might figured out what they meant in the drawings, I had reapplied the thing(s)? too many times and it (they?) was/were lint covered. Couldn't figure out if Part 1 and Part 2 were both supposed to remain on the phone. Couldn't get the glue off the protector once I removed the numbered tabs. Protector was totally scratched by the credit card I used to try to expel the bubbles. Expensive hassle.

    Ok i guess

This screen protector is made to fit the bare minimum of screen- I have the 6s and it ends just short of the black lines around the screen. Not sure how this will protect the (ENTIRE) screen or distribute an impact so the screen doesn't break...also the anti glare is nice for glare but leaves something to be desired in the quality of how the screen appears-it's like going from HD to SD; Everything is matte and that in turn makes everything that was previously vibrant now a bit dull. Haven't had it for very long so I'll have to wait to seen how it performs but so far I'm underwhelmed

    Good and bads...

    • Written by Andy S from birmingham

The good thing is that I would say that this 3m shield glass protector has a strong protection so if ur iPhone 6s falls down while texting the protector protects the phone and won't damage the phone but obviously the protector likely can be broken.and ur phone can be broken it depends on the damage. And the negative thing is that it is expensive for a lot of people. Really? 24.95 pounds?????? And the last point is that if u use ur phone for months the protector will start to fall off in a matter of time. So u have to keep on buying it every few months.
