    Cracks

    • Written by Celso G S from Homestead

Cracks in the corners, cracks in the top, cracks in the bottom cover, cracks in several places. I think it's a problem with the selection of the material. I thought about buying another iguel to replace, but I do not encourage knowing what general problem happens with more people.

    Cracks and chips

    • Written by Kathleen W from Amarillo

I have had my case for about 10 months now and all the corners on the case have chipped&broken off and there are cracks starting where the corners were. I am VERY careful with my computer and the only place my computer goes is in my padded laptop pocket of my backpack and it has never been dropped but the case does start to get cracks easily and I bought this at the apple store so, I didn't know about the reviews then. Other than that it's a good case my computer is still in good condition.

    Only one downfall.....

    • Written by Michelle B from Hillsboro

This case has been great but does have one downfall. First the positive..... It looks nice, I love how slim it is. You can hardly tell it's even on. It did it's job when I dropped my MacBook on it's corner. When it hit, a corner of the case chipped off. It did put a gouge in the metal of my cover, but it's ok, I think it would have been worse if it hadn't been on. I thought that my case corners were cracked because it had been dropped, but my husband bought the black one for his and they are cracked as well (I do think it's less noticeable on the black one.) It didn't take long for his to crack and I use my MacBook WAY more than he does. For $50, you'd think the case would be better made and not crack so soon. I've lived with the corners cracked for some time now and probably won't by a new one to replace it. I do think it is helping in one way or another. Can't see spending more $ for the same thing to happen again.

Does its job but cracking is not cool

    • Written by Conrad N from Phoenix

Overall, the case does its job of protecting the MacBook Pro from scratches, but it definitely needs some work as far as quality. All four corners of the top piece of my case formed small cracks after just a few weeks, and they got worse as time went on. Incase was good about sending me a new case, but I had had the exact same issue in addition to cracks forming on the back corners of the bottom piece where it is too tight to fit snugly into the body of the MacBook Pro. They just sent me a third case, so hopefully this one will be the one. The only reason I'm not giving a lower rating if because they have been good about replacing the case. I just wish I could get a refund at this point.
