    Terrible Case

Like other reviewers, my case started to crack within one month. New cracks seem to appear overnight. Tech 21 is replacing it under the warranty, but I have no reason to. believe it won't happen again. I never take my computer out of my house, there has not been a lot of wear and tear on the cover. I had a similar cover from Tech 21 for my MacBook Air 11", after a year of use it still looks new. I would not purchase this again for any price, I feel like it is a complete waste of money.

    Poor Durability

I wish that I had read the online reviews before purchasing: I do not recommend this item. I purchased this case on the suggestion of the Apple Store staff, paying $30-$50 extra (over similar items) because it was supposed to be 'the best.' The fit is reasonable and the aesthetics are okay. However, within a month the shell has developed multiple cracks, and they seem to be multiplying and/or growing by the day. I transport the laptop in a padded sleeve in my backpack, and it sits on my desk. Pretty light duty. When I showed the cracks to the staff at the Apple Store, they said talk to the manufacturer.

So I generously rate this two stars: one star is the minimum, plus one extra star for the fit, the initial aesthetics, and the fact that thus far it has seemed to protect the laptop. But for $100 + tax, the poor durability is a major fault.

    Has it where it counts

I panicked when I saw what appeared to be cracking in the case after a short while. What it actually was is tears in the material on the inside at a micro level. This hasn't broke the integrity of the case I've had for a year and my MacBook has been dropped once and it broke the fall. Because of the imperfections of the material this isn't the prettiest case. If you weigh looks over protection this isn't the case for you. But this takes a beating like it was meant too. It's the best $100 insurance you can get for it and if your doing something professional where the looks matter it's easy to snap on and off. I have a Tech21 case for my iPhone and it has saved it so many times without being crazy bulky. I simply won't buy cases from other manufacturers now.

Great Looking Product but Poor Design and Durableity

This cover looks lively. However I only had the first one for 6 months and am already on a 'replacement within one year' second one. For something costing $100 I expected to receive something built to last. Although this cover has a bit of a 'soft feel' (more like a skin) it does not have the flexibility of a skin and starts to crack in the corners after a short period of use.

Poorly made Case for the 12" Mac Book

I just purchased this Tech 21 Case for my MacBook 12" computer and I must say it is a poorly made accessory to say the least. It is flimsy
and really doesn't fit well on the computer. The price of this accessory is $100.00. You would think for that amount of money it would be the top of the line protective case. It's not! I am taking it back to Apple tomorrow morning.
I think Apple needs to re-evaluate the quality of this product.

Snap Case start to show cracks after less than 3 month on the macbook

I purchased this product together with the macbook in July 2016.
As a general protection this is a great product, but for the price and quality, I am surprised that it shows cracks along the edges already after 3 month.

I am a careful user of my apple products, and know that this laptop has not been exposed to physical pressure. The only possible extreme situation could be that the temperature in Singapore is always around 30 degrees.
