Love my Mophie Powerstation Plus Premium

I bought my Mophie Powerstation Plus Premium (MPPP) August 2017. So far, it’s been great! I use it mostly to keep my iPhone 6S Plus charged up when I travel; it does a great job with that. The MPPP can hold up with me not having to charge it for days! I would have given it 5 out of 5 stars if it could have had additional charging ports (vs. a measly 1 port) for additional Apple devices—given its hefty $130 price tag—Uy— and not be a bit heavy in the pocket. But overall, I’m happy with its quickness in charging up whatever device/s I plug into it and its lasting power in not needing to be charged for most of the work week!

    Overpriced, doesn't work

I bought this at an airport in a panic, paying $130. I used it once, then it didn't recharge.

This unit lasted 2 days when I bought it. I charged it, and it worked great...but once I tried to charge again, nothing! Item is not worth the money!

    Great for Professional Use!

I'm a producer who has to constantly be on my phone and occasionally use it to capture photos and videos on set. This kit is super powerful and keeps my iPhone 7 Plus at full battery. I also use it to charge my iPad Pro and my MacBook Pro w. Touch Bar. Comes in a felt case. Best feature is the slim and hidden lightening cable so you don't need to bring one around with you.

This is a HORRIBLE product, first of all it's expensive and I have bought 2 batteries in the last year and they both stopped working, the first one I took to the apple store and they thought I was lying, they tried it and yes it didn't charge, after getting a replacement I think it lasted 4 months and now it doesn't charge either. Do not buy!!! this is a horrible product

    Power plug problems

This Mohpie powerstation cannot be used on iphones that are in an Otterbox case. The power plug is too large to fit into the socket on the phone. This is a design flaw. Do not buy if you have your phone in an Otterbox.

    Overpriced and feature lacking

Last years model had fast recharging at 15W, able to charge 2 iPad Airs at full speed simultaneously and had bluetooth so I could see the battery level from my phone. This years model had many features removed and still the same price. WOW.

    1. Input. This is quite a large battery so I don't expect it to charge fast. However I expected it to support at least 2.4amp input. Nope. The input is 1.8 amp which means it will take around 7 and a half hours to fully charge. Even a $120 belkin power bank has 2.4amp input so shouldn't a premium $200 one have 15W (3.0 amp) input?

    2. Charging out speed. It has a built in switch tip cable which is quite handy but both it and the extra usb port only support 2.1amp charging. Now I can't charge my iPad Pro 9.7 at full speed (2.4amps) anymore. Sad for a $200 power bank because the $120 belkin power bank has dual 2.4 amp output.

    3. Durability. This power bank has plastic edges. wow. Last years model had full aluminium design for the same price. Obviously plastic is going to scratch and break easier that aluminium and when we drop or bump our power bank it is likely going to be on the edges not the face or back.

    4. Accessories and price. Does having a carry pouch and a switch tip cable included in the box justify adding $50 to the price tag? On the mophie website you can get this for USD $100. Add $25 shipping and conversion to AUD thats only about $160. Sure, the pouch is handy to keep the powerstation and the included switch tip cable in but still you can be the judge, does a carry pouch and plastic cable justify the extra $40-$50?

So if i hate it this much why did I not give it 1 star?

Well, its size is quite small but it is thick and heavy and the built in switch tip cable is handy meaning you can charge basically any device. Android, Apple, Bluetooth accessories etc. and apple has a excellent return policy.
