    Set-up is a disaster

    • Written by Charles O from Nashville

I am really unhappy with this product.

I tried going through what looked like a standard pairing process. However, after three clubs it stopped recognising the sensors. It then shifted me to a screen that indicated I had not paid for a $99 Cobra subscription. Since I had bought an Arcoss Caddie sensor, this made no sense. I tried everything -- starting over, rebooting my phone, moving outside for better light. I finally agreed to a subscription (I suppose it was for Cobra) on one screen popup as it said I had a 30 day free trial. After that the pairing started working. I then went through a tedious club by club process of noting the brand (Titleist) and model (AP2). When I looked at the club management screen, it listed all of my clubs as Cobra!

I tried uninstalling the software and reinstalling, deleting all of the pairings and starting over, but I could not get it to acknowledge these were not Cobra clubs. I cannot find the subscription anywhere -- it is through Apple Pay.

I am very very unhappy with this product.

Must have if you want know more about your game

    • Written by Brjann B from Kirkland

Arccos provides a no hassle way to track your game shot by shot and then gives you the online dashboard to analyze your game and find where you need to improve. I played 2-3 rounds and learned something new about my game right away - 70% of my missed greens were short. I knew I wasn't hitting enough greens but the visualization in the dashboard just smacked me over the head. The dashboard is easy to use and even better when the new one is fully released with all editing capabilities right in there.
The system is easy - you hit your shot as you always do and it tracks your shot. The only time you have to interfere is if you get a penalty or if the system misses your tap in putt. Simple UI in the app adds a penalty or adds/subtracts putts. If you want to be more accurate on your distance from pin on approaches, chips and track length of first putt you can do the quick "move flag to right spot on green" in the app after each hole or after the round. Its really easy and intuitive.

Now the fun starts -- Arccos Caddie is optional and is your digital caddie. Very excited about the possibilities of this feature and I hope that this will continue to evolve with per shot suggestions and also ensure that there are options to turn on/off certain assistance that might make this feature non tournament legal. It provides wind strength and wind direction and uses that to guide your play for the next hole.

This is perfect for me to have a understanding of my own performance in the green. It is very good for novice like me and more importantly it helps me to know my shots are laying up

    Stats, Stats and more Stats

    • Written by Greg D from Stratford

The Arccos 360 system gives you tour level stats just by screwing a sensor into your club, and downloading an app on your phone. Downside is you have to keep your phone in your pocket, but the data you gain about your game makes it well worth it!
