    Really Good Product

Really good product, happy with this purchase. I'd prefer it to be cheaper, like anything in life but does what it needs to do and has a good length cable so you can place it where you want. It does have a bit of weight to it, not heavy but you'll be surprised

    Good, yet not perfect

It's overall quite a nice accessory for your phone. It's useful just to relax, kick back, and effortlessly put your phone on this charger without the need for any wires (btw now you can use the wired earphones and charge at the same time). However, I've there's a massive problem. You need to place your phone perfectly in the middle (with very little room to move) or else it just wouldn't charge. I've run into this problem several times in the morning after I presI've put it on charge only to find out the next morning that I'm on 10%. So that's something to keep in mind, and that will hopefully be resolved with a larger apple made wireless charger coming up soon. It also heats up insanely while charging, so does your phone. So those are the two things to keep in mind before buying. Overall I'm quite happy with the product.

Received as a gift two months ago. Worked great at first, but no longer charges. As soon as put my phone on it, vibrates and lets me know that it has synced, but when I look later, the phone has not charged... and seems to be draining the battery as well.

    My most disappointing purchase, ever

Power plug is huge cube which precludes anything being plugged next to it. Pathetic. Apple, you made a bad choice carrying this. I feel very disappointed.

Still works after many months and no bright LED!

I like how the base matches my dark iPhone X perfectly. I also like this model over the Belkin model as that one was too slippery and the LED was bright. The LED at the bottom of this mophie model is more discrete and at night while in bed is hardly noticeable at all.

Definitely purchasing another one for my desk at work.

Works great, but one annoying flaw.

Does exactly what it it advertises.

The biggest annoyance I have with this charger is the power (wall) brick is inexplicably angled at 45 degrees in such a way as to completely block access to neighbouring power points. Every other charging power supply can manage to fit within that standard space. why can this not too? It seems as if it was done for aesthetic reasons without practical consideration at all!

Would recommend one of the alternative brands.

    Great iPhone X accessory

Perfect charge every use. Use mine on my nightstand and find it quite easy to place my phone on it even in the dark. Very nice not to have to fumble with a cord. Skeptical reviews seem very curious to me.

    Absolutely Rubbish

Bought this very expensive charger to go with my new iPhone X. Thought getting it from the Apple store would be a guarantee of quality and effectiveness...How wrong was I?! Have spent the last 3 months trying to find the sweet spot that would allow the phone to charge without the vibration kicking it off the charger as soon as I fall asleep! Have a much cheaper charger bought from Amazon that is a million times better than this very expensive rubbish. Have finally given up and will be getting rid of this.

    Very disappointing Apple!!!

    My iPhone 8 slides off

I like the small size and low profile. I had three in different rooms and with two of them, the phone will very slowly slide to one side. After 15-30 minutes the phone is no longer in the sweet spot and charging stops. I think it's because two of my locations are ever so slightly un-level, but chargers from 2 other manufacturers work just fine in the same places.

Works okay, but some terrible design features!

This charging base works more or less as it should, although you do need to have your phone positioned just right or else no charging will take place. The main irritation is the power plug. To be trendy - I’m just guessing - it is set on an angle meaning that it takes up the space of 1.5 power points. This is extremely annoying and means you can’t use the power point next to it. Why o why did they do this? It bugs every day to the point that I’m making my first review! Apart from that, though, I do like the charging base, although I suspect it isn’t as fast at recharging as traditional methods.

    iPhone X slips off

The charger is good but i don't use a case with my phone. This results in the iPhone slipping off sometimes, even on a level surface.
The design could be improved by using a material thats stop the phone slipping off. I'm looking for another charger now.

    No longer works

It worked great right out of the box. After a few weeks, it would still work, but I’d have to move the phone around to find the spot to charge it. Now it won’t charge at all, its dead. I used to buy mophie phone charger cases, and they always worked z. It’s sad that they released such a bad product.

    Performance degraded quickly

This product worked great right out of the box, but then it became worse and worse within weeks. At first, it was easy to simply place a phone on it to initiate the charge. Yet, after a week or so, it was less reliable (a phone would be squarely on the device and not charge). Now, a couple of months later, I have to hover a phone over the pad for a minute or two and cross my fingers that it syncs. Waste of money.

    Not so good

I have had this product for over a month and I have had a problem with it. This started to occur a week or two ago the light on the bottom of the pad it indicates that the phone is charging well it flashed 4 or 5 times and the light would completely turn off and my phone would light up letting me know that it’s not charging and the light would come back on and it would start charging again and it would do that all the time when my iPhone was charging on the charger pad and my iPhone would not be completely charged in the morning and when I put the iPhone on the pad it is under 100% so I hope apple sees this and helps me with my problem and also the iPhone was on the pad correctly too

    Waist of time

I got it for free when I got a new phone and I don’t see the point in it, you still have to plug it in and you have to put your phone placed correctly for it to work and you can’t really use your phone while It’s on charger.
It’s not technically wireless when we still have to plug it in where ever we go that has a PowerPoint.

    Works well, poor design

I tested this wireless charging base and the Belkin. Both perform the same in my two weeks of testing, for the same price. There are limitations to the wireless technology, requiring specific (though not too specific) placement. But these reflect the state of the tech and are not a big deal—you get used to it, and wireless is far easier then fumbling with a cable.

I chose the Belkin over the mophie because the Belkin has an indicator light that clearly shows when the iPhone is placed well and charging. The mophie had a light, but very small and dim and hard to see. That is the only differentiatior to me.

Excellent product - don't be fooled by cheaper chargers and bogus reviews

Please avoid the haters. I bought one of these a few weeks ago after a disastrous experience trying one of the 'generic' Qi chargers primarily meant for Samsung products that I got at another retailer that did NOT work. This worked very well right out of the box on my iphone X...even through an otterbox and it isn't picky about placement of the phone on the pad quite like the Belkin or others. I use it nightly as my main charger and love it. The complains about the size of the plug are crazy. If you are using multiplug adapters, yes, you may have an issue with the width of the wall plug obstructing the adjacent outlet on your strip. I have an easy solution for that: use a larger strip or, even better, don't plug so many things into your adapter! I enjoy this o much that I don't use the regular lightning charger anymore at all. Since the iphone X battery is incredible compared to the experiences I had with my 6plus, I can say that charging overnight isn't an issue with me because my phone holds a solid charge all day long. No, I'm not a "fanboy." I just like my products to work, and the Samsung type ones did NOT work for me....didn't put out enough current so they would keep powering on/off, potentially damaging the battery/electronics inside your new phone! The Morphie charges through an otterbox with no problems...a good, solid charge. No worries about overheating of the phone or charger pad either. There is a reason Apple stores use these in the their set-up stations near the genius bars.

    Stopped working after a month....

Will not charge at all after a month of using it. The charge was slow to begin with but now it won’t work at all. DO NOT BUY.
