    Don’t buy!!

I bought this for my new iPhone based on my great experiences with previous versions but now I can’t listen to my music with it on. Great paperweight

    Decent Case

I was hesitant about buying this based on the reviews of it getting stuck once on the phone. However, after using it for a few days it isn’t that bad. It is very snug, but it is possible to remove without damaging your phone.
The only downside to this is the fact that there is no accessible headphone connection to use. You have to use Bluetooth headphones if you want to listen to music while charging your phone. I have the AirPods so this isn’t an issue for me at this time. Overall, I would prefer an Apple smart battery case over mophie.

    Mophie Juice Pack Classic Struggles

I'm on the road constantly with a lot of international travel. Last week my company iPhone (my lifeline) died and was replaced with a new iPhone 8. Yeah! I was excited and went to the Apple Store to purchase my replacement charging case. Apple's In Store Rep up sold me on the Mophie Juice Classic and my initial experiences are as follows:

    01) Mophie case does not have Apple's lightning adapter / charging port (Old school USB plug)
    02) Mophie case does not have an adapter to allow me to use my Apple charger or head phones
    03) Mophie case is now stuck on my phone so it can't be removed to use my standard charger or head phones (see other reviews)
    04) Mophie's solution is to purchase air-pods (or other blue tooth head phones) and also a wireless charger (Ugh.....)

I would hold off on purchasing the case until Mophie has caught up with Apple. No wounds are worse than the self inflicted ones. I should have read these reviews prior to making this purchase. I hope this review helps others ---

WON'T WORK w/ wired headphones (Mophie for 8/8-Plus)

My old Mophie cases were great. HOWEVER, I just upgraded to an iPhone 8-Plus and discovered that my new Mophie Juice Pack won't work with wired headphones/earbuds -- and there's no adapter to fix the problem. The audio signal simply will not pass through the USB connector. WTF, guys? I mean, yeah, Apple is always changing stuff that doesn't need to be changed (which must be annoying for 3rd party vendors). But this issue is a deal breaker. And while I'm keeping the phone, the case is getting returned.

    Mophie Case Hack

To remove my phone from the case I used an index card slid down as far as I could between the back of the phone and the case. Reduced surface friction allows case to slip off. No damage done to phone. MOPHIE REALLY NEEDS TO FIX THIS, regardless. Case charges perfectly.

    Do not buy

If you have not already purchased this case DO NOT PURCHASE THIS CASE!!!!!! It does not fit your iphone will get stuck and you will likely end up scratching the back sides or the touch screen glass. if your phone is currently stuck I got mine off using this method

    1. remove the top portion of the case that easily comes off
    2. slide paper clips in between the rear of the phone and the case(4-6 evenly spread across the back should do)
    3. slide paper clips down the side of the case (starting at the edge near the volume and power buttons on each side)
    4. Do not remove the paper clips from the side use them to create some leverage and start to slide the sides offs after a bit you should be able to slide the phone out like normal

    Do not buy this case

Bought for my daughter's 7 Plus, and would barely hold a charge, maybe added 30% more battery life, maybe. No where near what they say it will. Had to ship it back to Mophie because of Apple's lousy 2 week policy, seriously Apple, this thing is garbage and you know it and you are ripping off your customers. Got the 2nd case and same thing, barely adds much additional battery life and now it won't charge. $100 wasted.

Great Case (I don’t understand what everyone is complaining about)

This is a great case. Out of box, no issues sliding my phone in and out of the case. Mophie cases have always come with micro USB charging, no surprises there. Case charges phone up really well. It’s 2018, move on to wireless headphones and stop whining. Overall, Mophie hasn’t disappointed.

    Not recommended

I would not recommend anyone to get it. First of all, it doesn’t charge my phone to 100%, only between 50% and 70%. Second, it’s hard to get it off.

    Ugh...

I purchased this case for a iPhone 8plus. The case went on fine. But... getting it off is an issue. I had not planned on taking it off however, the case would not hold a charge so I had to remove it. In the process part of the case broke. It was replaced. I put the new one on and it worked perfectly, but again had to remove the case and the same place broke again. I am disappointed that something with such a high price point would break so easily. I have it a 2 due to the fact that it saved me today when my phone was dying. It charged my phone to 100%.

    Case Stuck to Phone

I just upgraded to an iPhone 8 Plus and needed a new case. I had the Apple iphone case for my 6S which I loved and worked perfectly. Since the 8 Plus is a new phone, I was told that there isn't an Apple case for the 8 Plus yet so I had to purchase a Mophie Juice Pack. It was a bit tight putting it on but when I tried to take it off it would not slide off. I had to watch a few tutorials before I could get it to come off. Now I am afraid to put it back on because it was hard taking it off. I think I may return the case and get something else. These cases need to be taken off the market.
I would give it 0 stars but it isn't an option.

    Not protecting your phone

I dropped my 1 month old iPhone 8 Plus Face down and the case didn’t protect it at all. An Immediate cracking sound from my glass screen was heard miles away. If you are looking for a protective case, don’t get this one

Had to pry the case off

It took me like an hour to pry this case off my iPhone 8 Plus. I had to use a fork and ended up slightly scratching the bottom of my phone. Don't buy this unless you want this to be your permanent case. Will be returning.

Had a helluva time getting phone unstuck!

Had to break out the can of WD40! Small amount on Qtip to the inside track of mophie case. Finally got phone out, the reused the qtip again along the inside tracks. Phone & case are working fineness now. No damage!

    Terrible design...stuck

The case won't come off at all. I can't use the headphone adapter. The case separates at the top vs bottom so I can't get to the charger. Very disappointed. I did not expect this from Mophie or Apple which sells it.

Great as usual but too tight!

I've had a Mophie for years, going back to the iPhone 6, 7, 7 Plus and now the 8 Plus. This time, the phone slides into the Mophie as usual but its so tight you can't slide the phone back out of the case. You'll have to literally pry the phone from the edges and through the front and then pull it out. Doing all this while being careful not to break the lightning connector on the Mophie. As usual, it does a great job of holding a charge and charging when needed but i've found that some wireless chargers, charge on and off when you place the Mophie onto the wireless charger. Its still as dependable but only 3 stars because of the snug fit and charging issues.

Super Stuck...Apple or Mophie PLEASE Help!

I had been using the juice pack religiously for over a year on my iPhone 6. When I upgraded to an iPhone 8 Plus I was excited to go out and buy the “compatible” juice pack for my new phone. It slid in a bit tight as I expected it may. Now, I can’t get my phone out! It is like it is glued in there!! I’ve watched so many videos online and searched everywhere for a safe solution. If my phone breaks or chips while trying to pry it out...who is replacing my phone? These phones are not cheap and I will be super upset if I find out that the only way to free my phone from this case is to break my phone in the process. Did nobody test these cases before deciding to push them to market?! PLEASE...if anyone can help me figure out how to safely remove my phone or if anyone from Apple or Mophie cares enough to respond back with a reasonable solution to my problem...I would be forever thankful!

    Stuck.

My biggest problem is the case is literally stuck on my phone unless I use something to pry it off... My other problem with this case is the fact that I’m now forced to get wireless headphones... not worth the money honestly
