    Exceeded my expectations

    • Written by Rob A from Red Deer

While this charger is pricier than many others, for me it was the only charger that looked, operated and felt like an Apple product. It's very well built, and looks great on my bedside table. I'm very sensitive to light and sound so I was very happy when I found out It's dead silent. Also, the tiny LED lamp on the top, behind the iPhone when it's placed on the charger, is very dim so it doesn't both me at all at night. It does stay on as long as the phone is placed on the charger, whether it's charging or when charge is complete. I found the light to be useful in that, while very dim it provides just enough illumination to know where the phone is, so you're not fumbling to reach for it in the dark. Finally, wireless charging worked great with both our XR and XS with cases on them (Spigen Liquid Air Armor and Ringke Onyx case).
I took one star off because the cable cannot be detached from the base, so if you ever have issues with the cable you'll be replacing the entire thing. It would have been nice to have a detachable cable on both ends for that reason. Also the power adapter is quite large and the plug-in location makes it somewhat awkward if you have other cables plugged in on the same power outlet.
But all in all, I highly recommend this.

Nice looks and functionality. Cannot use thick case

    • Written by Francis A from Plainview

Has proprietary power supply and cable. Used successfully with iPhone Xs and Xs Max with Apple leather case and Incipio Reprieve Sport cases respectively. Cannot fit thick cases like Lifeproof NEXT case. Charging performance as expected of wireless charger.

    It Will Ruin Your Case!

    • Written by Cameron F from Vancouver

I had this stand for a couple of days and then realized that it has sharp right angles at the base where the phone rests. These sharp edges cut up the bottom of my leather Apple case.

It's a terrible design and not very well thought out. I bought another charging stand elsewhere with a different form factor (you don't need the side 'bumpers') and I love it so much more, even withstanding the case damage factor.

    Desktop Charger

    • Written by andrew J from Attleborough

Had this for a few days now and thought time for a review.
Design could be better as I think it has been made to accommodate an iPhone back cover.
Why? Because if you sit your naked iPhone xs in the cradle the back of the camera on the phone doesn’t allow it to sit completely flat when lying back.
There should be a notch in the back of the cradle to accommodate this or reduce the height of the charger slightly.
I like highly designed items so this minor flaw annoyed me, especially considering Logitech have worked exclusively with Apple this seems like a laughable oversight in the design.
    However, it is minor.
Charged from 53% to 59% in 10 mins with no load on the phone other than switched on (connected to home WiFi and calls enabled).
So 6% in 10 mins estimates a full charge from flat to full capacity in around 170 mins at that rate...

We are both liking this a lot!

    • Written by James S from Bristol

I’m giving this 4 Stars only because we’ve only just bought it.
I must say that we love it!
One of us has an Xr with a clear Otter case and it charges without issue through this case for us.
The cable is coiled and not straight which works for us as it keeps it tidier and there’s a cable tie to ensure extra tidiness.
I fail to see what more we could want from it. Love it so far!

    Great wireless charger

    • Written by David S from San Francisco

This charger works perfectly well with my XS Max with an Apple silicone case on. I’m not sure why a previous reviewer was trying to insert phone into horizontal slot, just lay phone into cradle; it seriously couldn’t be any easier. I have a feeling that slot is there for heat dissipation. As for problems with cases I think the max is <8mm (7mm) thick. So super heavy duty ‘off-road’ cases will most likely exceed this spec.
Charging rate seems to be close to 1% per minute, not sure if that qualifies as “fast charging’ but it is faster than lighting cable with standard Apple cube phone charger outlet. Can’t find wattage of Logitech wireless charger.

    Fab wireless charger

    • Written by Lisa C from Lancaster

This charger delivers exactly what it promises. It’s easy to set up, charges my iPhone X really quickly, is simple to use and looks very stylish. It charges my phone through its case too. I chose this particular charger because it allows my phone to be charged in an upright position rather than lying flat. I’m very happy with this product and would recommend it.

    Check before you buy

    • Written by Daniel B from Boynton beach

I am used to poor Logitech products, but I am surprised that apples let a product like this on their web site (as "only on apple"). This charger does not use USB or lighting to plug in to the adapter. It uses some old plug. That is awful. I have USB on all my outlets, and now, I have to use extensions to be able to plug this into a regular outlet. I understand the decision between Regular USB or USB-C, but at least is USB. No, this product, have their own.....

If you devices use Otterbox case, you can only charge your phone horizontally. The bottom of the case is too thick to allow the charger to fit the charging point.

    Convenient and Simple

    • Written by Joshua T from Kaysville

I bought this stand to use with my iPhone XS Max and so far it works very well. I can charge it with my case on (I use an Apple silicone case) and the battery fills up quick. There's a little more space in the cradle to accommodate slightly thicker cases and an opening in the bottom keeps your speakers unobstructed for hands-free use. The only thing that worries me is that because the plastic is so light the stand can get knocked over if you're a bit heavy handed setting your phone into it.

It's worth noting that Logitech's product page states that metal cases and cases with magnets do not work with the stand. The box itself only guarantees Apple's cases will work. I made an inquiry to Logitech's customer service about attaching a magnet (for the Adonit Snap 2 stylus) to the back of the case and they replied that while it may work with some magnets, they will shorten the life of stand.

Overall, Powered is a great product and I would recommend it to those looking for a wireless charging stand. Just be mindful of the materials your case is made out of.

    Solid fast charger

    • Written by Rian F from Salt Lake City

Landscape and portrait well supported. Recommend using it only with apple cases. It won’t support cases more than 3mm thick.

Plug and power brick is proprietary. Would have been nice for it to be usb c.

Good charger, one major design flaw

    • Written by William W from Lexington

When you can get the phone correctly positioned, this is a wonderful charger. I specifically like the outside edges, so it's like a cradle. However, there is one MAJOR design flaw that makes this super annoying and to me, unusable. There's a horizontal slot in the bottom, for what reason I have no idea, but... if you are like me, and like to place your phone bottom first, and then push the phone backwards against the charger, it will NOT work. At all. The bottom of the phone get's stuck inside the horizontal slot and will not go flush against the charger. It sticks out at an angle, therefore not making contact and not charging. This happens every single night for me.

Really wanted to like it, but had to return it.

    • Written by Virgil F from Oklahoma City

I returned mine because it consistently took 8 hours to charge my XS from 40% to 55%. I am using iOS 12.0. I had the phone in a Pad & Quill leather case, which is only 3mm thick, and which was said to be compatible with this charger. Charging was erratic and never dependable. I did not test the unit with the phone out of the case because that would defeat its purpose of easy charging. I did not try placing the phone horizontally while charging. I also did not like that the cable cannot be detached or replaced. A failed cable will result in a failed unit.

A premium charger for a premium Phone

    • Written by Tyler W from Austin

I've been through several induction chargers and this is the first one that checks all the boxes for me. It works great with the iPhone XS Max (I feel stupid every time I type that name), It works in both portrait and landscape and has exactly the right angle to still get notifications and what have you while at work.

It has 7.5 watts of power which is the highest induction charging wattage supported by the iPhone. It will get you a full charge in a couple of hours (slower than plugging in but still fast enough to get the job done. There is no fan or obnoxious LED light (there is a light on the top of the charger which gets obscured by the phone when on the charger I don't know why they put it there but you don't notice it in practice).

My only gripe is that it uses a proprietary plug rather than a USB port so you'll have to live with Logitech's 6 foot power cord and try not to break it. The plug itself is also a little to big and blocks the next plug up on my power strip.
