I wished I could like it more

    • Written by Nick S from San Diego

I like the idea that you can charge your iPhone and iPad at the same time when it's plugged in to the wall. However, the battery life, since it's only rated at 5000mAh, is not enough to keep my phone charged for one day, especially when I'm out and about with my phone. I also had the issue where my 11-inch iPad Pro wasn't charged to 100% when using just the battery and not the wall outlet. I mean, it's a great concept, but this product does not live up to my expectations.

Does not charge iPad Pro 10.5 without being plugged in

    • Written by Carol R from Yucaipa

The Apple description says it can charge both the iPhone and iPad. I have iPhone 10xR and IPad Pro 10.5. It charges the iPhone promptly when just used as a charger. The icon says it is charging on the iPad, but nothing is happening. However, when you plug it is, it quickly charges. I really wanted to have this in my purse in case either the iPad or the iPhone needed charging. Like another reviewer, I find the Mophie to be a better product. For over $90 PLUS the $20 charging cable, this is not acceptable.

On the plus side, customer service at Anker is great. They sent me a replacement one right away, I originally thought the Mophie app was causing interference, so I deleted it, but now see it must be the product. Just contacted Customer Service again. I’m debating whether to keep it or not because it does charge the phone so fast.

When I saw the product on the Apple store, I was really enthused and really wanted to have it. It would be unusual if two units were just defective. I think apple needs to read these reviews and see if they really want this on their site.

Does this fully charge the ipad pro 2018 11" model, it barely charged to 30 percent on a unit that had 2% left, anyone else use it to charge a new ipad pro with the usb port?
