    Not ready for production

    • Written by Barrington H from West Row

This monitor appears to have been released before the firmware and supporting app were ready. The Screen Manager software doesn't support screen split or monitor control and it doesn't come back to life after I put it in to sleep mode - I either have to open and close the lid of my MacBook or unplug the monitor. I've tried both USB-C and Thunderbolt 3 cables for connectivity. I purchased this monitor as I thought it would 'just work' as Apple products do. It feels very third party, which I understand it is, but unless these issues are fixed in the next fortnight, i.e. my return period, I'll be sending it back. It looks beautiful, but it's disappointing. I would rather keep the monitor as aesthetically it looks nice, the screen is beautiful and it charges my MacBook Pro 15", but if it can't work as it's supposed to, the frustration kills creativity.
