    Overall great

The quality of music from these earbuds are fantastic. Love how they are adjustable. The only problem is that sometimes the music either glitches or stops if you put pressure on the earbuds, say if you are laying down or something. I have had my pair for almost a year and they are in great shape and a great battery life. Also it is really easy to lose the little cushion things and that really affects the music as it plays in your ears so be cautious of them possibly falling out.

Trash dont waste your time. Look at other options

These things are not worth the packaging they come in. Don't waste your time or money. The reviews speak for themselves. I used mine a total of 5 times and now they wont even turn on. HUGE disappointment. Expected so much more out of Apple. I would not even give them one star but they wouldn't let me submit a review with out it. Look at other options and save your self the headache.

So dissapointing!! Never buy earphones from Apple

Where to start?? I spent good amount of money for these earphones, I am a runner and used them all the time. 10 months in, the ear hook became detached. I went to the apple store and they said it was damage that wasn't cover by the warranty. Then I called customer service and they tell me to mail the earphones to them and I will receive a new pair within two weeks. They get the earphones and said the ear hook was not covered and claimed there was damage on the cord too. They declined the warranty and said none of the damage was covered. Image! These things run for $200 and only last 10 months!! The company doesn't take responsibility of the cheap materials they are using. They don't honor the warranty and make up damage so they can decline it. The only damage was the ear hook and the employees at the apple store saw it when I took them there. I am so upset and disappointment. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THIS CHEAP MADE EARPHONES. APPLE IS LOSING THERE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND BUSINESS MORAL. I AM SO DISGUSTED AND HAVE NO RESPECT FOR THEM ANYMORE. I told them to send the earphones back to me, let's see what are they going to send? You would think the ear hook is of good quality but not, it detaches after a while for no reason. The sound and battery are decent but not great. There is static when making phone calls. I lost my money thinking I was buying a good product from a company that practiced business ethics. I was so wrong on both!

    Stooped working after 3 workouts

I should have read reviews before buying these headphones on a whim at an airport. After three workouts, where I sweated a bit, they stopped working. What a rip-off. Read and trust these reviews - check out youtube videos - before purchasing.

    Powerbeats3 Wireless

Headphones were working great. I received them as a gift. All of a sudden they will not turn on, flashing white and red lights from no sign of damage. I spoke with support and they did all that they could do. The final solution was to buy a repair through Apple for over $100. The headphones cost that much in the first place and are definitely not worth that much now. Extremely disappointed and will be purchasing a different brand.

Went through wash, still work fine lol

I don't know how people have been having problems with water. I sweat a LOT when I workout, and I'm often in the gym for over two hours a day and I'm completely drenched when I leave. Yesterday I forgot these were in my pocket and went through a full cycle in the washer. I let them dry overnight and they're back to working fine. Never had any trouble when working out either, I just dry them off when I'm done. ***Pros: Stay in/on ear well - I run a LOT Comfortable for over an hour of distance running Very water resistant (at least for me) Deep virtual bass sounds amazing About as loud as I could need Amazing battery life (and fast charging) Automatically connect very fast to devices (3-5 seconds after turning on) Easy to pair Pairs pretty well with android and Spotify Volume buttons control master volume, not separate from phone volume Stylish (I think) ***Cons: Expensive Can still hear wind when running (but most ear buds are like this) Other people have had issues with sweat and water Hard to put on (given for over-ear ear buds though...) - I have long hair Rubber carrying case attracts tons of dust Microphone I'm told picks up *everything*

If I could it would be ZERO Stars!

Apple should reimburse EVERYONE who bought this product. I am at my second pair, first one died in 25 days, second one sadly just died out of 90 days period warranty! This is insane! Worst product EVER! Very mad and unsatisfactory experience!

Bought these for my husband for his workouts. It’s only been a few months and they no longer hold a charge. Dies within 45 minutes after being “fully charged”. What a waste of money. Im so angry at this so-called too quality brand.

    Only last a few months

I was very excited to get this product but if you are using them while running and or something where you sweat, they will not last for you. They were great until after having them roughly 3 or 4 months they just stopped turning on. I took great care of them as they were so expensive and am very disappointed. I would not recommend to anyone who wants them for exercise or frequent use.

SOOOOOO I had the 1's and they were cool but the sound still wasn't anything to write home about... Then I was bored one day so I picked up the 3's cause the A1 chip is dope all you have to do is put it by your phone and bam compatible for ALL your devices... Shout out Apple Eco-systeover. Then I used the same ear tip setup that I had on the 1's and the same sound... THEN a year later my little boy popped the ear tip off so I had to use a different one then I realized you could also tighten the ear bands so I did this as well and the BAM a whole new world happened. I also washed them in the washer and still work. the best headphone for working out by far! All these other people complaining get out of here with that S!@#!

Had these for 12 months. Left ear hook detached from normal wear at the gym. Cheap product. Don't recommend these headphones nor any other Beats device.

Over the ear piece just fell off. $100 + shipping to repair?

The over-the-ear part that holds the headphones on just fell off. I didn't drop them or anything. Contacted support to get them fixed and they said it was going to be $100 + shipping. Yikes! Shame, because I quite liked the sound quality and fit! I guess I'll look at another company for my earphones.

    Not so sweat resistant.

I want to start by saying I have never written a product review before however I was so disappointed with this product and can only imagine how many others are having the same issue with the Powerbeats 3. I bought these about a year ago with the intention of using them during my runs. As the commercial ads all showed a very sweaty LeBron James working out in them. I am an athlete, runner and music lover. Having a quality pair of wireless ear buds is key for me on my daily run/gym sessions. Initially I was impressed. The sound quality and fit of the Powerbeats 3 was exactly what I was looking for and thought I had found the perfect pair! Fast forward 3 months...they began to cut in and out during my runs and gym session which completely destroyed the flow of my workout. I noticed when I began to sweat is when they would cut in and out, until one day they just stopped working altogether. I bought these because they are advertised for athletes. In fact the commercial shows LeBron James sweating excessively while training...that is what sold me so I was surprised when my sweat caused them to malfunction. After multiple attempts to recharge and turn them on again with no luck I put them away and accepted they were broken. About 4 months ago I decided to take them out and see if they would turn on...low and behold they worked! I was back to running wirelessly. Like clockwork after 3 months of use they have stopped working again...I am extremely frustrated by the misleading advertising campaign of the Powerbeats 3 as the product does not do what they say it should. Do NOT buy if you are looking for a pair of wireless headphones for working out. Great idea...horrible product...misleading advertisement...very disappointed.

great design, great sound, but poor build quality

I have purchased two of these and may buy another. I love how secure these feel in my ears, they hold well when I run, etc. The sound is great, I can keep the volume low and the earphone and mic are great with telephone calls. The volume control is also great.
My reason for a 2 star rating is the build quality. First the cushions for the earbuds comes off easily and I lose them in my pocket or briefcase. Second the volume control has come apart, but it still works with some gentle pressing. Lastly the build of the over the ear hooks comes apart, to keep using mine I have taped it in place.
I am waiting and patiently hoping for the next version that will be more water/sweat proof, better build quality, but seems like it may be a long wait.

Piece of c..., sorry for the expression but is true!!

I have been using this product less then 1 year. It has great superb quality sound, but unfortunately I am not happy with the built quality of the product as in its ear hook broken from its base. No drop damage or anything. Its just separated from its base. I copy and paste this post because the same happened with mine.

    Worst Headphones I ever purchased

So I am about to send my 6th pair back this time because the headphones won't charge properly. The first 5 times 1) Charging issue 2) Battery only lasted 30 minutes - should be 12 hours 3) Left earphone no sound 4) Consistent red light unable to charge 5) Volume control wouldn't work properly 6) and today 9/22 - once again while charging it is just a solid red light, after about 3 hours I take the headphones out of my laptop jack there is no battery power at all Support is always good and they always have no problem with the returns but at this point it is just comical how often I have issues with these headphones
