Died after around 400 hours of use

My Powerbeats3 died after around 400 hours of strenuous use while working out in the morning, listening at work, and listening in the afternoon for a total of around 5 hours of listening per day. My head phone died after cutting my grass one day but I had been experiencing shot battery life prior, so the battery died from either sweat or just usage. I REALY enjoyed my beats for the time I had them but I can not bring myself to purchase another pair knowing they could break after just six moths of owning them.

Great at first, but downhill quickly

These headphones were great for a couple of months, but then the volume control/pause & play button stopped working. Shortly after that, the Bluetooth started manipulating the volume and pausing songs mid-workout. It got very frustrating having to constantly take my phone out while running to resume play or turn the volume back up. More than once it was better to take them off and run without music rather than continuing to fight these poorly made headphones.

    Bummed

I guess I'll give it a 2 star because I really enjoyed them at first. Fit in my ears super well, good for running. Unfortunately the charge completely stopped holding after a few months. Boooo.

Not for daily use, working out

Pros: 1. Good sound and volume 2. Decent range from phones to source 3. They fit great and hold to the ear 4. Good battery life Cons: They fall apart in 4-8 months if used daily. I take care of them. Always put in case When not in use. They are cheaply made and come apart in several places, earbud, the cover, the volume cover, etc. There are a lot of little pieces glued together that are prone to falling apart. 4 of 5 pairs I bought (worn by 3 different people) had issues and I’ve since talked to several others who say the same. If you’ll only wear them once in a while, you will love them. For daily use, treadmill, etc., find something else.

    NEVER AGAIN...

This is the 4th time I bring them back to the retailer and I am now asking for a refund. Hope they will accept but I will never buy Beats again. Very disappointing

    Work perfect

Don’t understand the previous review, I got these a year ago with a new Mac. I work outside in the rain and sweating the sun and I’ve had no issues at all. Sound quality is great, battery life is great if you don’t leave them uncharged

Three months in and I get maybe 45 minutes...

When I first bought them they seemed to work forever, 3 months in and I now get maybe 45 minutes. Which sucks because They usually die mid-workout. These headphones were hardly the least expensive option. In fact, when my wife sa how much I paid she said WTF... I assured her I was paying for quality, not a name, 3 months in and I am now scrolling through recipes for panfried crow because I’m having to eat my words. Let’s see how their customer service is... I’ll be back with a review for that when I’m done.

    Worthless

Can I give 0 stars? My 3rd pair, after returning the other 2. Never got more than 3 hours on a charge on any set. Now I can't even turn turn on the power. If I disconnect from the power outlet for 1 minute, it takes 5 minutes to restore to a full charge. Apple wants $99 to repair. Powerbeats going in the garbage and I'll buy a competing brand.

Sound is great, durability is horrible.

I've had my wireless headphones for a little over a year. I use them for my high intensity work outs and the sound is great! But since I've owned them one ear bud just fell apart right at one of its seams and the talk button/play/volume button split in half at the seam randomly. Also the sweat resistance doesn't seem too sweat resistant. Great sound but the quality and durability almost feels like I bought a cheap pair of headphones from Wal-mart for $10... Very disappointed. Huge Apple fan too!!!!

    Non-Durable

Sound quality is pretty good but for all the other imperfections it's not worth it. As soon as it was subjected to a small amount of rain water the ear hooks elasticity withered away. Shortly after the right side completely broke off. Not worth the money

    Pros and Cons

Here are a few pros and cons I've experienced in the little over a year I've had these Pros: Awesome sound Comfortable Easy to use Water proof Cons: Longevity of these are horrible Battery is extremely weak "Year long warrenty" Headphones start to wear out around the year mark causing you to buy new ones or spend 100 dollars to fix them Honestly I'm never going to be buying beats again. For the year I had these, I liked them. Never again.

    Cheap product

Barely used this product. The earphone hook came off. Apple needs to build quality parts. Lost all bras loyalty for these crazily overpriced products. You guys can charge more but atleast provode a quality product. Worst disappointment ever.

    Powerbeats 3

Terrible for working out when they’re meant for that, they act up while I go on my runs.

    Upset

I received mine as a gift. Extremely upset with my pair. I have been using my Beats and loved them. All of a sudden, they will not turn on. I have tried every solution possible. Barely worn! I have reached out to the company and nobody can help. Very disappointed

    Don‘t buy!

I have had the Powerbeats 3 for just a few weeks when I had to return them to Apple because they switched off every time I exercised. No hastle at Apple, I got new ones which show the same symptoms now. I just love how Apple still advertises these earphones for sports even though it is common knowledge by now (after some web researche) they don’t like neither moisture/sweat nor cold. $200 down the drain!

How is this legal? $199.. please do not buy this! READ REVIEWS

Please do not buy these headphones. After 6 months my powerbeats would no longer turn on. I brought them to the apple store and it took them 2 weeks to send me a replacement. After 7 months, the same issue occured! I took them to the applestore and they told me the headphones were out of warranty and they wanted to charge me $100 to replace them. These headphones are marketed for working out and they break so quickly. Please do not buy these headphones. They are not worth all the trips to the apple store.

    Customer Service

I love my powerbeats except that the volume button cover has fallen of 3 different times without occurring any damage. It has been repaired twice for no charge and now the 3rd time customer service wants to charge me nearly $110. I could basically buy a brand new pair for that cost. This is obviously a flaw with the product since it has occurred so many times. I will not be purchasing another pair or these or paying for repair. I will be looking for a different brand to switch to. Very disappointed!!!

    Not swear resistant at all

I bought these earbuds. The first time, every workout, they would turn off when sweat got onto them and blink the white light 3 times. I sent them back and got another pair. This other pair was working fine until again, sweat got onto them, now the problem was that they music was cutting out and it would disconnect from my phone. I just sent them back for the 2nd time. We'll see what happens with this 3rd pair. Expected that a product that is sweat resistant, should handle sweat right? Not so sure after 2 times that they failed. I expected better from a quality brand

    Great product but not durable

I have had this product for around a year and a half. I have loved the quality and the look of the product but have found a few problems with it including the ear holder snapping off. It was very frustrating as it was in my pocket as I was sitting down and had no real reason to snap. I have also found it annoying the earbuds are also constantly falling off for no reason. But I still enjoy the product and hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else.
