    Overall good

    • Written by Rayana G from Mauston

I'm a music lover and these beats let me listen in high quality. Sometimes, if the song is good enough, I'll break out into a crazy dance. These headphones have been flung off my head so many times and they still look and work like new. I'm impressed with the durability. I would give it five stars but, after a while, the top my head starts to hurt where the headphones sit. They also slide off my ears if I'm sweating, because of the material. And I'm personally not a fan of the on-ear style, I wish they were over-ear. But that's really my only regret with these. Overall they're a great buy. I would recommend spending a little extra to get a pair of wireless though.

Great sound & even better CUSTOMER SERVICE!

    • Written by Christine P

Great bass, and easily the best sound from any headphones I've ever owned. I used these to travel, and after the first week I noticed the material on the cord was coming off rather quickly; seemed unusual but it didn't affect the sound. I tore my house apart looking for the receipt but couldn't find it. So I called customer svc and they very quickly reached a solution we were both happy with. They immediately sent an email w/case #, & the rep was clear with instructions; they'll be sending a prepaid envelope, I send only the earphones (no extras that came w/them) & they'll be replaced shortly. I'm super happy w/the level of customer service I rec'd & there was no issue w/me losing receipt. They really took care of me & made sure my issue was resolved. I'll ALWAYS recommend & buy beats!

Brilliant but flawed in some hidden ways

    • Written by Manta K

So first; I enjoy using these headphones. The sound quality is great and it blocks out noise quite well. However, this noise block comes at the expense of long use comfort. After 3 hours with it on, my ears were almost flattened and it felt poorly. Other minor problems include the chrome trim around the sides, which look very nice but are scratched quite easily, therefore making them unsightly. And mine did break once, due to listening to music at quite high volume. Other than that, do not let these issues fool you into believing the EP is unreliable; mine are used every weekday at school and the EP has survived being crushed by books and people trying to endlessly stretch it over their heads. So overall, a fine pair of headphones and one I’d recommend.

    Best Value For Money

    • Written by Andrew P

This is the best value for money for the beats headphones. The bass is strong so it gives this punch to every track you hear. The mid and high could be better but, the way that this headphone was tuned is good enough for you to use for any type of music. Great sound, amazing build, minimalist design and flat cord. Love it

    Very good headphones!

    • Written by Saul C

Recently got these headphones in the blue colour, I think there design is very much on the higher end, especially with the metal design. Sound very good, exaggerated bass but I guess that’s what you sign up for when you buy beats headphones. Mind you the bass does sound very good with certain songs, and still always prove themselves very good headphones. These may be my new favourite headphones, but only if you take price and branding into mind. Btw I did mean to put 4 stars if you were wondering.

    Solid low cost Beats option

    • Written by Dylan R from Monmouth

I bought these about a year ago right when they came out and have been using them since basically as my primary day to day multimedia headphones. (Used Audio Technica M20x which are now my mixing only headphones, a 6ft non detachable wire doesn’t work for general use.) They’ve held up surprisingly well for me. Plenty of padding on the ears and headband across the top. At first I tossed them in the cloth bag they came with but anymore I just wrap the cable around the headphones and toss them in my bag to go. They don’t fold but the frame is metal with some plastic on the outside and a non detachable 3.5mm jack. They are pretty flexible for Beats too. You have to be super rough with these in order to damage them I believe for my use.

Sound quality is better than beats I’ve used in the past. Mids and highs are better but overall it’s still a bass heavy headphone. Sound does leak if the volume gets high enough and they aren’t noise canceling at all. I’d never use these while mixing audio ever but for general media consumption they do the job and they have a solid build and really simple and clean design.

    Deserve a better rating.

    • Written by Cameron W from Newtown

These headphones sound crystal clear, with strong bass and good treble...ONLY if you use an equalizer. As standard, they sound really flat and plain, with decent bass but little treble, meaning they're overall very unclear (they sound a lot like the original Solo HDs). However I couldn't be happier with them when I use an equalizer to fix their complete lack of treble.

The build quality is great too. They actually feel better built than the more expensive Solos and Studios I've had, although they do look less expensive from a distance. The only thing that feels cheap is the cord, but it's held up well so far.

Overall these are a good deal for beats, but you really have to equalize them to take advantage of their actual capabilities.

    Pretty good, only one problem

    • Written by Viet N

I really enjoy the sound quality on the headphones and the style and look of it. The only problem I have with mine is the ear pieces fall of after a very short period of time. I've only had mine for about 3 months and the left ear piece is starting to rip off. This also happened on my old pair of beats and I had to replace those as well. I was just hoping I would not run into that issue with these.

    Time will tell..

    • Written by Emrah T from Melbourne

Switching over from Beats Solo 2 as they broke on me I didn't want to go with the same ones and didn't want to spend so much at the same time I so chose these headphones and at the moment I cannot complain. They seem to be durable and have quality audio output. I just hope the same thing doesn't happen with this pair which is unlikely as these are high quality for the price you're paying.

Awesome sound! Good Value for money but..

This is my 3rd Beats my other 2 got their cushions wear off. So I hope this EP will hold up for long. I no longer use Beats in the gym because I'm worried that the cushions will wear off again due to the sweat. I just use this in EP my work as an Audio Editor. But yeah, go ahead and buy this one. You gon' love it!

    Not bad for the price.

    • Written by Christopher S from Livonia

These are my first pair of on ear headphones. I usually wear earbuds, but after years of pushing them back into position while running, I decided to give on ear phones a try. The sound is very clear and crisp, however the bass is not as thumpy and deep as I had expected from Beats. Don't get me wrong... it's there, but not as powerful as bass from an earbud. Quality wise, they seem to be great. Very sturdy feeling and comfortable. My ears did not feel hot as I expected they would. I would purchase again, but to be completely honest I am still partial to buds. However, I'm very happy with my purchase.

Surprised at the Quality and Fit of them

    • Written by Francisco N from Storrs

One wonders why Apple would introduce a wired headphone after making a big deal about wireless. Either way, I decided to try these out and was pleasantly surprised at the quality. The headphones themselves sound great, and they're very comfortable. I was expecting them to be tight because Beats usually are, but that wasn't the case here. I must say, I don't like the fact that they won't fold or that you can't remove the headphone jack from the headphones themselves.

Overall I would say that if you're looking for cheap beats headphones, these would be the way to go. (Unless you have an iPhone 7)
