    These headphone never worked right. Even the adaptor was glitchy when I would try to use other headphones. I want the original back.

    Worst Headphones I've had

    If I could give these less than 1 star I would. Seems like a few others have had similar problems. They broke within months, and prior to them finally going they would make siri go crazy, skip songs, stop playing. So frustrating when you spend so much money on a phone/product.

    Broke after a few months

    Very disappointed that they broke after a few months. The part that connects to the lightening port just snapped off from the the rest of the earpods chord. It looks like this happens a lot. and unfortunately even with the bad review, i'll probably still buy another pair because I'm not sure what choice i have with the iphone 7. bring back the headphone jack on the iphone!

    Uncomfortable

    Anyone else find these earpods to be uncomfortable? They also fall out easily when I am reclining. Do not get me wrong, the sound is good...but...they hurt and won't stay in place. The cheap earbuds from airlines fit my ears better than this style. Apple needs to offer something that will accommodate various ear types. I am very disappointed. Come on, Apple, step up!

    Out of the box - barely works

    Today I opened my new EarPods. 1.5 hours later, the +/- volume do no work nor do they start/pause my music. Really?! A 1.5 hours later?

    Disappointed

    What a disappointment a great phone with a poor headphones to go with it.
    I mean, does it make any sense that it's one or other option? Talk on the phone or
    charge your cells phone? Why can't I do both like the prior series iPhone 6?
    Also another complaint is the quality of the headphones is cheap. Example:
    When you insert your headphones into the phone it doesnt lock properly. I've
    already gone through 3 of these and I can't even walk and put my phone in my
    Pocket and listen to music, without It turning on and off very annoying.
    The adapter is way better and is more secure! It's obvious that Mr Cook wants its
    customers to buy the AirPods what turn off. I'm seeking a third party device
    headphones.

    Head Phones aren't the best

    Definitely not recommended, I got them a long with my iPhone and after about one month of use they sounded horrible. Finally after about 4 months of use they no longer work in the left ear.

    Not working!

    After 4 months of having the iPhone 7, it hasn't been a year yet and my earphones broke! The left earpod is not working anymore and they expect you to pay $100+ for the AirPods. I can't remember the one time I had my iPhone headphones for more than 4 months. Apple really needs to make durable EarPods that lasts longer than this EarPods with flimsy connector cords. The sound is amazing, but I want the durability along with it.

    Unhappy

    I had an iPhone 6s from the day it came out to the day I got my 7, never once did anything fail me but after a couple weeks of the new 7 headphones, the mic bit stopped working completely, ok not a big deal but then the wire at the end started "scrunching" up and the wire was horrible. Now just lost all sound in one side of the headphones and now I'm going to have to fork out £30 and expect the same result.

    Second broken pair in just four months!

    As many other users noticed, these headphones become unusable after just a couple of months. Just sent in my second pair in for replacement. Randomly stopping-starting-skipping music and phone calls as the cord moves. Controls behave erratically. Microphone unusable half of the time.

    I have been an Apple user since the 90s, and now I am very disappointed! At the iPhone price tag some serious quality control of all accessories is expected!

    Worst apple product

    It's long been held that once the founder of a great company does, quality and innovation soon follow. Nothing could be more true than the quality of this product. Even at free they are still overpriced. Sound quality is ok but they work poorly for sound activation when needed and when not needed they pick up noise and activate Siri or voice control.

    This was a horrible move by apple. Worst thing is I thought upgrading would provide you with a better product. iPhone 7 is just iPhone 6 with no aux cable leaving these EarPods as unnecessary wastes of money. It doesn't sound better, the location in the middle makes it an awkward fit. I'm actually down heading so I get the six back!

    Had Two Pairs - Both Broke

    I've had two pairs of these headphones. They both broke in the same way. After about 3 months of normal use (for either pair), they started skipping and pausing the music when the cord was bumped. I feel like Apple is pushing people to buy their AirPods or Beats so much so that they're satisfied selling a shoddy product to those who don't want to make the switch, and on top of that making people wait months for the AirPods.

    This is disapponting because it dies every three months! I've had my 3rd pair now and I wasted a lot of money on this. I always take good care of my headphones but for 3 months one of the earpods dies out! Please make better quality and something that's worth the money and can last a long time.

    Worst Apple change ever

    If I could give this product 0 stars I would. I got the iPhone 7 in December, and I might be on my fifth or sixth pair of these earbuds. They break non stop and I can't even listen to music and charge my phone at the same time. Now, if not having a headphone jack saved battery and gave better sound to the speakers as advertised for the iPhone seven, I could probably live with this, but my battery drains at the same rate with only having the lightening port. All in all, these headphones are awful and probably are intentionally like this so people will buy the stupid and expensive wireless ones instead. Unfortunately, as much as I hate this product, I will have to keep buying it. Thanks Apple!

    Die headphones die

    These are the worst headphones I have ever owned. I have smaller ears and these do not fit in my ear whatsoever! After I spend five minutes trying to shove them in (most of the time they just fall out) after more than a few minutes my ears start to ache. I hate these so so so so much. Yes, the sound quality is fine, but they are the absolute worst design ever.

    If I could give zero stars I would. I have had these for 3 days, came with my new iPhone and the cord has already frayed and will no longer play from my iPhone. I'm incredibly disappointed with the quality here and feel ripped off because I spent so much on this new phone and can't even use the brand new headphones.

    Bad cable quality at EarPods with Lightning

    I bought my iPhone 7 in December 2017. Since then I had to replace my EarPods with Lightning for 3 times already!!! So every 2 months the mic and remote control stop working. I just use them as I would use any other headphones, I don't do anything extreme. And previous 3.5 jack version worked in same conditions for more than 2 years without breaking. There's definitely something wrong with this version... And with Lightning connection being a unique Apple technologies, it leaves me with no other options for better headphones...
    Apple Service guys, please look into it and do something with cable quality. This is not an Apple standard and it makes me sad that quality is dropping...
