    Overpriced Junk

    They only lasted for 6 weeks! I’ve bought Walmart headphones for $5 that last 6 months. Never buying these again, what a horrible product.

    Worse Idea Ever

    Stupid idea, Apple! Since purchasing my new iPhone 8, I have wasted about $150 bucks on stupid adapters, dongles, etc, and NO, I do not want your Bluetooth junk next to my skull. Such as waste of time and money! I've been a dedicated Apple consumer for 10 flippin years and unless Apple makes some educated changes, I'm voting with my pocketbook. Samsung, anyone?

    Terrible quality

    I've had these about 4 months and reading other reviews it seems like a miracle they've lasted this long. The sound quality is terrible and very low. A few days ago they started messing with audio; pausing, stopping and skipping what I was listening to and today the right one just died. Not thrilled about having to use the lightning connector instead either, as I refuse to repurchase these, but who's got a choice?

    Absolute piece of trash

    I’ve had my iPhone 7 for a while now, roughly a year, and I’m already on my 5th one. My mother also bought an iPhone 7 whose earbuds that I borrow and end up breaking, but it was never my fault. THEY ARE ABSOLUTE TRASH, AND I MEAN IT. I purchased so many pairs just for the sake of just listening to music, and every now and then the earbuds go out and skip a song or stops the song without me telling it to. After a week, the earbuds would give out completely and I would have to figure out a way to buy them again. I had a much higher expectation and I’m genuinely disappointed and dissatisfied in this supposedly “big and trustworthy” company. I didn’t buy a phone for $800 and spend almost $100 on earbuds so that I could trash them in 2 weeks. Huge dissapointment.

    Broke within weeks

    Just got my Iphone 8 and used the apple earbuds and guess what only one ear works. The great thing about this is that I can’t use my old earphones because there is no headphone jack. Just got my Iphone 8 a couple weeks ago so these were brand new earbuds.

    Okay for a few days, then they break..

    If you're going to force us to use these headphones, please make them durable. I don't use them for extreme sports or anything even close. I literally use them to commute with. After a month one stopped worked. They are terrible quality.

    Awful

    These headphones are trash. Bought a pair not even a month ago and they already stopped working. This isn’t the first time it’s happened with this product. You’re better off buying a different set of headphones, I would not recommend these at all. Don’t waste your money bc these don’t last long and the quality could be better. Wasted 30$ for nothing. Thanks for nothing Apple...

    Horrible Quality

    I bought a pair of these because my old ones broke. I paid a full $30 and they stopped working entirely. I then went and bought a second pair, and after a few weeks they would start skipping, pausing, and moving ahead in songs that I’m trying to listen to. For $30 these should be great quality but they’re not. It’s dissapointing that a company could care so little as to actually sell these for $30 when they break so frequently. This is the only reason I’m afraid to buy AirPods. I don’t want to spend almost $200 on a product and it end up doing this.

    These are a big disappointment. Apple had a high standard but these are honestly so pathetic I can't respect the company the same.

    I have been forced to purchase three pairs of these headphones over the last four months. They are not fit for purpose. The wire in the jack continuously bends meaning the sound goes on and off. Whilst listening to music this somehow causes voice control to turn on and off and skip through tracks whilst in Spotify and in Apple Music. Sounds plays through headphones then blares our of the phone. Normally a lover of apple products having purchased iPhones and laptops over the years. Definitely would not recommend. No doubt a ploy to force customers to spend up and purchase the air pods. Utterly disappointed, infuriating experience.

    They all malfunction

    Un-usable within the first couple months..short life. They start messing with my music... pausing, fast forwarding, skipping songs, etc. it’s very annoying and I hate buying new headphones all the time. They should last way longer for the price. Apple is scamming y’all... and me.

    Always Break

    I have had 4 pairs of the earpods and 1 pair of the air pods. They all have broken the same way. The main speaker always stops working and I can't hear the music unless I put the side speaker up to my ear. I went to the Apple store in Kansas City on the plaza. I was not helped at all. He said he has never heard of this issue and offered that I set up an appointment to fix them which would cost me $70 to fix the airpods. $70 PER airpod. I went to the same store about 6 months prior to ask for help with a broken screen and they were going to charge me way more than if I just gave it to sprint to fix. I have been a loyal apple customer for about 7 years and the service and poor quality I have experienced is terrible.

    The Breakage!

    As an iphone 7 plus user, these are the only earphones i can really use without resorting to amazon for knock offs. This would be fine if they didn’t have a lifetime of about 3 months! I have gone through 5 pairs all ending in me smashing then up with rage after both earbuds stop outputting music. Terrible product and you know this apple!

    Total Trash....

    DO NOT BUY, these headphones are trash and apple should discontinue. They automatically increase the volume by itself and loud beeping happens often for no reason. Very very annoying and you’re not able to get it to stop. I’ve had these 3 weeks in and now only one headphone actually has sound. Don’t waste your money on this product, clearly defective.

    Short life span

    Sound quality for the price is nice, but if you use them daily on your commute or walk in the park dont expect them to last longer than 6 months. The extremely fragile connection between the cable and lightning plug will break because of the low quality materials used around the cable. Compared to the old mini-jack version this has a distinct shorter life span.

    Extremely Disappointing.

    I used my previous ones for complete two years and they worked perfectly but when I bought these which basically came with iPhone 7 Plus, they hardly last for 2 months only. This poor quality was not expected from Apple at all.

    Worst Headphones I've had

    If I could give these less than 1 star I would. Seems like a few others have had similar problems. They broke within months, and prior to them finally going they would make siri go crazy, skip songs, stop playing. So frustrating when you spend so much money on a phone/product.

    Very disappointed

    I've been using these earphones for less than a month. I'm not rough with them, and I've taken care of them well, and they haven't been exposed to the elements at all. Considering all of that, they should be working great but they aren't, they've shorted out and shocked me several times!! This is the worst product I've ever received from apple, I wouldn't recommend these to anyone.
