    Disatisfaction

Head phones malfunctioned for a second time. First time they would not turn on, Apple support team was very nice and helped me get a replacement pair at no cost. Now second time around the beats will not shut off. I spoke with the Apple support once again and was told that my head phones keep breaking due to wearing them in the gym.. no where on this product does it say can not be worn in the gym, I have seen many advertisements of the headphones being worn running and things of that nature so when I’m informed that from here on it will be $120 to fix them I’m very displeased with normally a good process and product.

Build quality and sound do not compare to other brands at this price

I bought and tried to understand what they chatter is about Beats headphones and ear buds and simply do not see the value for the investment. First there's so much plastic that left me worried about dropping these accidentally and encountering a problem. Headphones at this price point I would expect to be made and feel more solidly built. Not quite sure what the lower level quality.

As for sound, initially I thought they were great. Now I am not a professional audio person, but I do like listening to clear, vibrant sound with bass (not too much) coming through as a recording is meant to sound. Comparing these to say a pair of Bose headphones is not even close. Bose by far sounds much, much better then any Beats I've come across. Now I am not saying Bose is the best headphones, not that honor would go to V-Moda for either their M-100 or Crossfade 2 Wireless headphones. These are the absolute best available and I own both.

The Bose I see more of then the Beats when traveling internationally and I've owned pairs in the past. Just to sum up my experience, I would suggest not buying headphones only for the name and because you think its worth the price. Shop around, there are so many other more worthy set of cans you can buy that would be better built and sound superb!

    good product, could be better

Its beats and they are good headphones, but apple has been trying to get away from usb-A and usb-b for a while and this is the only device i have that requires anything other than usb-c or lightning. in the package you get a USB-b to USB-a cable for charging, thus a person who just bought a brand new top of the line MacBook pro cannot directly charge their headphones without also carrying an adapter. this really is the prime example where lightning or usb-c should be used. its $300 headphones. ship it with usb-b to usb-c and usb-c to usb-c and magically you don't look like you have an egg on your face.

    Modern type of sound

Today's music are different say decades ago, more of electro-pop than hard-rock. Well balanced tone yet lacking in details especially when you randomly select a classical music. Overall good for day to day travel, easy to pair and undoubtedly long battery life. One problem is the ear cups because it's white, I just need to find ways how to clean it up. I've learned, not yet proven, that it's not user replaceable.

    Now my Favorite Wireless Headphones

I received these as a gift and could not be more impressed. Usually I use a high-end set of noise cancelling headphones when I fly but I brought these along instead on a trip from the New York Metro Area to Miami Beach last week. Not only did they provide exceptional listening comfort and noise isolation during my flights but they also had a substantial charge remaining after the trip ended. I am delighted to have them!

Way Lighter Than My Old Beats Studios!

Pairing was dead simple and the sound seems better than the old (more expensive) beats studio. I'd recommend!
