    Disappointing

    • Written by Phillip C from Richmond

I want to like this trackpad and I was excited to get it since it's rechargeable and very sleak looking. But it's very hard to control. It seems to have a mind of its own sometimes and will 'click' when I'm not clicking. I've actually gone back to using my old trackpad which is much more precise and reliable.

    Laggy, wouldn't recommend

    • Written by Dave G from Chicago

The Magic Trackpad 2 is LAGGY when compared to the trackpad on my macbook pro...I use the MT2 when I'm plugged into my monitor, which is about 50% of the time, so going back and forth between lag and no lag is very frustrating. I suppose if you use the MT2 100% of the time, it wouldn't be a big deal because you'd get use to it.

For the price, I'm very unhappy with this product.

Expensive and they expect you to go buy an adapter

    • Written by Marvin S from Houston

This Magic Trackpad is not cheap. To my surprise when I opened the box, it only contained a Lightning USB Cable. Well, I purchased a new MacBook Pro that they insist on only giving you USB-C connectors. So how are you supposed to charge the trackpad? After contacting apple support, their answer is to go out and buy another USB-C adapter so I can charge the brand new expensive Magic Trackpad 2. Sorry but that is too much, I'm returning it tomorrow.

    AWFUL BATTERY!!!!!

    • Written by MOHAMMED A from Oxford

On Dec 2017 I got the new iMac Pro and I forgot to order the Space Gray Trackpad. Then after they start selling it separately, I got one. I have been using it for 3 days; less than 1 hour every day and the battery now is 85% !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! While my magic keyboard and mouse have great battery, this trackpad just consumes the battery insanely. This is the first time I felt that I have been fooled by Apple and literally I am not sure whether they sell me a refurbished or new one. I need a replacement.
