    Not durable at all

    • Written by Jakob S

Great sound quality and amazing battery life.

However, they are definitely not sweat resistant and have little to no durability. I only use them while running/in the gym and I've had to go back to the apple store three times to get them replaced because they break when you sweat.

    Wow

Headphones didn’t last a good six months before one of the ear piece things almost broke off. Tried to get it repaired but they want to charge me for a repair even though I brought the protection plan. “I WILL NOT BUY ANOTHER APPLE PRODUCT” other then the iPhone ever again.

    WASTE OF MONEY!

    • Written by Ryan T from New York

I had two Wireless Beats. One was the second generation, another Sports edition one. Both failed to reach two years of usages. The first one lasted for a little over warranty period, so I could not avail it anymore. Second one lasted first 6 months. Changed it twice the last 12 months. Third time, I passed my warranty period again. Both could not be TURNED ON after few MONTHS of use! It's amazing how these products can be very expensive, and yet the quality are disappointing after a short period of time. I spent $400+ for these two products and will never buy another Beats for my work out. I only used these two during my workouts, particularly in running (and I sweat a lot). These products are not really sweat resistant AT ALL!

Super Low Quality for the Price you Pay

    • Written by Katrinah S from Las Pinas City

This is the worst product and never buying again. We had beats2 which fell apart and was replaced as it was within the warranty. Never learned our lesson and got beats3 wireless for my husband again. After a year it wasn't charging, earpiece and volume control fell apart. So please go buy something else and DO NOT EVER MAKE A MISTAKE of wasting your money for such a low quality product. I can't express my disappointment enough for paying $200 for something so cheaply made.

    Good quality earphones

    • Written by Jaimie H from Renton

Had these for 2.5 years before the mesh on the ear piece started to break. I used them everyday to workout and they are extremely sweat resistant. Sound quality is great and battery life is awesome. Just like any other product, it will depreciate with use. So obviously towards the end, the battery would only last me a couple hours instead of days. Bluetooth connection is lengthy, if you're going into a sepeate room it will disconnect obviously. I'm surprised to read such negative reviews because I thought these earphones are great and I'm planning to re-purchase the newest model. Hope this helps.

    Very good.

    • Written by Raffaele S from Indianapolis

I waited before leaving a review.
The earphones work just great, for me, and I feel sorry for those who have been experiencing issues with this product. I can’t complain. They have an awesome sound quality, the battery life is great, and the Bluetooth range is very, very good.

    Not worth the price--very disappointed

    • Written by Victoria V from Providence

I've had three, yes THREE pairs of these headphones. The first pair I had for about 18 months when they randomly stopped charging. I did use them a lot so I thought it was possibly from use but I sent them in to be serviced. They were sent back to me a week later saying they "could not recreate the problem" but the headphones still would not charge when I plugged them in. My most recent pair I have only had for 4 months. They have been working seamlessly but I went to turn them on two days ago and they would not turn on. When plugged into the charger the LED light indicates that the headphones are fully charged, yet when I go to turn them on nothing happens. DEFINITELY will not be purchasing these again.

Good sound quality but the build quality is not

    • Written by James R from Fleming island

My brother gave me these headphones and at first I really liked them because of the exceptional sound quality, however after a year both of the ear hooks have started to crack and I had to put some tape on them to prevent them from splitting, and also while cleaning the mesh that covers the speaker, it got pushed in. For $200 they shouldn't be able to break and fall apart so easily. You'd be better off buying something else like airpods or some other kind of wireless headphones.

    DO NOT BUY THESE.

    • Written by Sam N from Auckland

I had the PowerBeats 2. I had 5 pairs. Then I got given PowerBeats 3. These crapped out too. This is a rubbish product and Apple should offer a refund for the people they've scammed. I'll never buy accessories by Beats or Apple again. I suggest you do the same.

Love the bass, hate the string!

    • Written by Suraj N from Lethbridge

I love the bass in Powerbeats 3. It’s the best out there, however the string has been the most annoying. I accidentally broke my tube that goes around the ear, I received a replacement by Apple however, the replacement one feels lower quality even in bass. Not satisfied. Might consider buying another wireless beats again if the design comes without the string.

    not worth a single penny

    • Written by Zeljka P from Lawrenceville

The headphones are fine if you're just looking to listen to music on the go or whatever (Im not a connoisseur of sound quality) but if you try to use this workout headphones TO ACTUALLY WORKOUT then you will literally murder the headphones. While all their advertisements are geared towards using the headphones to workout and they say they are sweat resistant...they actually aren't. and you'll end up with headphones that won't work what so ever or ones that turn off 10 minutes into your workout and don't turn back on. So don't waste your money or time with these.

Not sweat proof, don’t buy for workouts

    • Written by Erich B from Snohomish

I bought thinking I could get a quality product for workout and was wrong. They are not sweat proof. They stopped working and won’t charge now. I’ve tried multiple things to get them to work and nothing. Sound quality was good while they worked so if you buy them, don’t use them for work outs.

    Don't Buy Them

    • Written by Sean B from Overland Park

I didn't listen to the reviews and I regret it now. These headphones lasted all of 4 months. I have a tough time with earbuds and because the ear hooks are slightly bent, I can't keep these earbuds in while walking.

The repair is $70 third party and $79 through Apple -- either way I'm hosed on a $99 purchase.

    Buyer beware.

Great until you have to replace them when the warranty expires

    • Written by Nickolaus K from Woodinville

I enjoyed these headphones for a year with some intermittent problems which I thought were part of the system protecting itself from sweat until now. Now I can't walk to my classes or finish my workouts without them turning off for no reason. Don't buy these unless you want to replace them every year.

I have read of reliability problems but mine are great.

    • Written by MICHAEL D from Cromer Heights

I have had my powerbeat3s for about a year and used them heavily for 8 months. I know there have been reliability problems, my daughter’s kept breaking years ago, but I really like mine because:
They are really comfortable, the over ear loop holds them in place, other in ear headphones always feel like they’re slipping out of my ear.
The sound is good, a nice full base when they are in snug. Plus the set of various sized ear inserts means it’s easy to get them to fit snuggly.
The compatibility with Apple products is great, I use them with Apple Watch, iphone, Apple TV, and Mac interchangably. Sync is easy.
Battery is really good, seems to provide reliable 10 - 12 hours on a single charge.

3 months in, stopped working - Apple tried to charge me $129 for repair

    • Written by Stacey C from Toronto

I bought my laptop and these headphones came with them with a slight bend in the right earpiece - I guess they use refurbished models to cut cost. I didn't think much of it and then 3 months in, the right ear piece starts having really poor sound quality and so I send it in to repair and they said that because there's a physical bend, the warranty is void and I'd have to pay $129 out of pocket to fix it. What even is the point of a warranty if you can't get a product, that came with a manufacturer's issue, repaired/replaced? Glad I didn't spend a cent on this garbage and I strongly advise AGAINST purchasing any of these wireless earphones. You could buy a lightning to headphone jack cable for $10 and go use a wired earphones instead of shelling out $300 for absolute garbage that will break in 3 months!

    worst headphones

    • Written by Lindsey J from Lakeland

This is the 3rd pair of power beats 3 I've had to exchange in the last year, its very frustrating to only have a product last a year and its an inconvenience to apple after the warranty runs out
